Name: Yaksha
Rank: Legendary +
Type: Polearm
Description:
Abilities:
The blade aspect of Yaksha leaves a shadow whenever it is used to cut. This means that Ayeseru could cut a tree and it leaves a shadow wherever the tree was cut. Also, even if the tree is to fall, the shadow remains exactly where it is, even if it floats in the air. When Yaksha is properly equipped, because of the Shadow Dragon Slayer's magic, the area the size of a large room is suddenly darkened as though it was night, though foes can still see properly, however, because of Ayeseru's ability to be invisible in dark areas he will not be seen. Yaksha will radiate a black energy when this ability is used. Yaksha is also used to amplify Ayeseru's spells; all of the preparations being used with Yaksha and most offensive spells being fired or used with Yaksha with the exception of Ayeseru's Dragon Roar.
Strengths:
Grants Ayeseru 5% extra magical energy as all + weapons do; Yaksha is a polearm created from the claw of a Shadow Dragon and thus only Shadow Dragon Slayers are capable of using it, due to the power being similar to that of an actual Shadow Dragon. Not only does the blade inflict damage on foes, but using the shaft for offensive purposes are just as effective, seeing as it was also made out of the very same claw. The shaft is as hard as any other dragon claw, which makes it as hard as a diamond, which can serve as a blunt weapon if utilized properly. As stated beforehand, this polearm cannot be used by anyone else other than a Shadow Dragon Slayer, and thus cannot be picked up by any other mages. Of course, there's also Yaksha's slashing damage.
Weaknesses:
The shadows that Ayeseru leaves behind from a cut from Yaksha can be removed by either targeting them or as an effect that lights up the area, though the light must be at least B-Rank worth, and must be strictly light. The second ability of Ayeseru being able to make a small area dark can only be used once per thread, meaning if Ayeseru decides to wield Yaksha early on he will be unable to use the darkening area effect for a later use. This also means that Ayeseru is careful as to when to draw Yaksha, and thus won't do so unless absolutely required. The ability to darken an area won't work in areas that are already dark. Ayeseru is unable to eat the ability that darkens the area and the ability that leaves behind a shadow when it cuts. Also, Ayeseru's Dragon Roar cannot be amplified by Yaksha, even if it's upgraded to Artifact class.
Name: Amplification
Rank: A-Rank/(S-Rank when upgraded to Artifact)
Type: Supportive, passive
Description:
Yaksha's general ability is amplification of all of Ayeseru's spells. Passively, all of his spells have their range improved by a factor of 25 meters, and radius' by a factor of 10 meters. Not only that, but it also increases damage done by offensive spells by 20%, however, only spells up to A-Rank are affected by this ability. Spells are generally used with Yaksha. Also, if Yaksha is upgraded to Artifact class, range is improved by 40 meters and radius' are improved by 25, and the damage increase is 25%, and it can also affect S-Rank spells with the sole exception of Ayeseru's Dragon Roar. This ability can be nullified if it's hit by B-Rank light offensive spell, and will only be able to add its amplification after it has had 3 posts to "recover".
Strengths:
* Improves the ranges and radius' of all of Ayeseru's spells.
* Increases all of Ayeseru's offensive damage.
* Potency increases when upgraded to Artifact, further improving all spells.
Weaknesses:
* As it is now, Yaksha can't affect Ayeseru's S-Rank spells.
* Yaksha cannot improve anything on Ayeseru's Dragon Roar.
* Ayeseru won't receive this ability if he has not drawn or is holding Yaksha.
* This ability can be nullified for 3 posts if hit by a B-Rank light offensive spell.
Duration - Eternal
Cooldown - Never/3 posts
Name: Shadow Dragon's Manipulation
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Shadow, offensive
Description:
This functions almost exactly as one would think; manipulation. This ability that Yaksha provides allows Ayeseru to manipulate ones shadow and use it against them. Ayeseru fires off a small beam of shadows, and if it strikes either the foe or their shadow the ability instantly activates. Blood-red eyes and a grin appear on the persons shadow which is the only signal that shows that the spell is active. For the next three posts the foe that was hit with the beam, if they cast a magical spell, it will also hit the foe for 25% of its damage, or if the cast spell happens to hit Ayeseru it will be increased to 50%. However, this ability is only valid for 8 attacks, meaning that if the targeted foe uses 8 attacks in a single post, this ability instantly finishes and goes into its cooldown. The cooldown is 6 posts This technique functions by having their shadow cast a weaker version of the spell at them. The attack launched cannot be dodged, though may be blocked. Negative status effects also apply, for either a quarter or half of it efficiency (all depends if Ayeseru is struck or not).
Strengths:
* Uses a foes shadow to strike themselves whenever a magical attack is cast.
* This ability is surprising to the foe. Meaning that if they don't realize what has happened to their shadow, they'll be struck for sure.
* Potency of the shadows attacks can be increased.
* Negative status effects apply.
Weaknesses:
* This ability does not apply to physical, non-magical attacks.
* Foes can instantly send this spell into its full cooldown in the first post by using all 8 spells in the first go.
* Though the attacks launched from the shadow cannot be dodged, they can still be blocked.
* In order for the attack launched from the shadow increase in potency, it has to hit Ayeseru
* Foes who have noticed what has happened to their shadow will have a chance to block every single one of the spells launched from the shadow if done one by one.
Duration - Max of 3 posts (depending on whether or not the foe uses all 8 spells at once).
Cooldown - 6 posts.
