Encountering a Demon [Rin l Hiro][Private]

Rin and Hibiki had traveled all the way to Mysterious Canyon on a rumor that a demon was there. The two had found out about this rumor earlier that day when they were passing through oak town and heard some towns people talking about it. After gathering more info on it, they headed there. "hey Rinny, do you think what those townspeople said about a demon being spotted here is true?" Rin turned to the small orange cat and replied "I don't know Hibiki, it might really just be a rumor but we'll find out soon enough hopefully." They continued to walk around the vast canyon, trying to see if they could find this demon. Rin had been feeling a mysterious yet familiar, magical energy ever since they arrived but couldn't really explain it. She thought to herself Why does this energy feel so familiar??

Hiro walked down the beaten canyon pathways. He was still worried about that caravan from the other day. They had seen him in his devil form before he disappeared and were probably telling all of Oak town they saw a demon in the canyon. Hiro knew he just had to leave and get out of the canyon and everyone would think they were just seeing things but there was a slight problem with that. Hiro was lost. Well perhaps lost wasn’t the right word. He knew which direction he was trying to go, but ever since he fell halfway into the massive fissure, he hasn’t been able to find a way out and every time he tried, he ended up falling or the path was blocked or it was just a plain old dead end. It was really starting to piss Hiro off.

Hiro wasn’t thinking clearly and still had his tail out even though he had left his devil form. His tail was a clear sign of his devilhood so he always kept it in his pants regardless of where he went in order to keep himself hidden from public view. It would cause a panic if Hiro was walking around with his devilhood out in the open for everyone to see. Priests and nuns would be screaming and everyone would be running away in terror.

After a while Hiro’s patience had run out though when he ran into yet another dead end and he let out a violent yell as his blue flames cloaked his body. “DAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIT!” Hiro yelled at the top of his voice as he punched the stone wall of the canyon in a fit of whiny rage. “HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GET OUT OF HERE!?”

Hiro had no choice though as he turned around and started heading back the way he came after diminishing his flames. Eventually he came up to a much thinner pathway on the canyon he had to shimmy across earlier to get across. It was a huge pain but there was no other choice in the matter as he started to move across the incredibly thin footing with his chest on the wall. The difference was that instead of being careful, Hiro’s hot headedness was making him shimmy a little too quickly and he put his foot down just a tad too hard as the rock broke from under his foot and he fell back towards the bottom of the canyon…again. Hiro wasn’t going to go all the way back to the bottom though and did his best to grab hold on the edge of the wall, only for the stone he grabbed to come lose and he kept falling. Lucky for him there was another path not to far below him and he hit the path with a hard thud.

Hiro twitched for a moment in pain before hopping up to his feet in another fit of rage as his devil form re-emerged with another violent yell. “DAAAAAAAAAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!” Hiro screamed. Something was in the corner of his eye though and he turned his head to take a look. He saw a girl…and a cat. They were looking at him…in all his satanic glory. This time his face was fully visible unlike with the caravan where all they saw was a silhouette. Shit.

Just then, Rin and Hibiki saw somebody falling from the sky above. The person landed if front of them with a big thud. They stood up. Rin and hibiki were just watching him, speechless. Then, the guy transformed right before their eyes, letting out a loud and furious scream. His body was engulfed in blue flames, he had a tail, razor sharp claws and teeth. They turned to each other, "Hey Rinny, looks like it wasn't just a rumor after all.." She nodded, "yeah, no kidding, he looks really strong too, I may be out of my league here.." They stopped whispering to each other and turned back to look at the demon. Then, their eyes met. The demon seemed to be troubled by their presence.

Huh? Did that cat just talk? Hiro thought as he noticed it was walking on two legs. He was drifting off and forgetting the issue that a human was looking at him while he was in full on devil mode. They were just looking at him. They had heard the rumors and came to search for a demon? Are they rune knights? No she’s not in uniform.

Hiro didn’t have time to really deduce this situation though and relaxed his body in a more upright position. “Well then,” Hiro began with a deep breath. “See ya!” Hiro bolted in the other direction full speed. He wasn’t planning on fighting a girl. If he killed a human it would create trouble for him in the future so he had to avoid fighting some stupid adventure head. People would notice and even if he destroyed the body they would link this place to him and he’d be in bigger trouble.

Hiro ran a fair distance and along the way he dwindled his flames. He was at the bottom of the canyon. A river was at the bottom and the sound of the rushing water made Hiro uncomfortable. He really wanted to get as far away from this river as possible. It was deep enough to drown in and Hiro couldn’t swim in still water so he was screwed if he fell in. He really had no choice now. He had to walk the length of the canyon and hope he found a way out, and that girl and her talking cat weren't trying to tail him.

After staring back at each other for several minutes, the demon stood upright "well then," he then took a a deep breath "see ya!" then bolted away from them like a bat out of hell until he was eventually out of their site. Rin and Hibiki were shocked that the demon ran instead of attacking them, they didn't know what to think of it. Rin turned to Hibiki "Let's go Hibiki, we need to catch that demon!" Hibiki nodded and his white wings appeared on his back as he picked up Rin. "Don't worry Rinny, We'll find the cowardly demon" They took off to search for him, headed down deeper into the canyon. Rin and Hibiki looked everywhere and Rin thought to herself, I wonder why he ran instead of trying to attack me, not to mention he seemed troubled by us being there... Then hibiki said, "Hey Rinny, look down at the pathway by that river" She looked down and saw the demon from before walking along the thin rock wall above a river at the bottom of the canyon. "Hibiki, take us down there" Hibiki nodded and began to descend down towards the path the demon was on.

“Huh?” Hiro looked up and over his shoulder when he heard something. In an instant his eyes were bulging out of his head. “WHAT THE HELL THAT CAT IS FLYING!?” Hiro yelled out. What the fuck kind of cat sprouts wings and starts flying? Hiro thought to himself. Hiro spat on the ground and went back to running. Hopefully the canyon would end at an opening and not a cave he couldn’t go through.

His hopes were crushed though. At the end of the river there was nothing but a cave the river flowed through and no route for Hiro to escape to. Hiro was out of options now. He still couldn’t kill the girl but he had to at least scare her off, even if that meant being a little rough.

Hiro’s flames resurged from his skin as he got in a fighting position. Wait a minute… Hiro thought for a minute. THAT CAT CAN FLY! Hiro restated what he had previously exclaimed, except with a bit of elation in his mind. “Alright then this makes things easy.” Hiro crouched down and waited for them to get close as he readied himself eagerly for the upcoming fight. He had no intention of letting that orange fur ball escape him as a devious, almost sinister, sharp toothed smile grew over his face.

As Rin and Hibiki got closer to him, all of a sudden they heard him yell, “WHAT THE HELL THAT CAT IS FLYING!?”It surprised them and then the demon began to run again and he was headed for a cave. Rin looked up at Hibiki who was carrying her "let's follow him, I need to ask that demon some questions." Hibiki nodded "you got it Rinny!" And so they followed him towards the cave. As they were getting closer and closer Rin thought to herself, He may not be all that bad if he's running and not trying to attack us... Rin had dealt with demons in the past but this was the first demon to not attempt an attack, it really had caught Rin's curiosity, and she was desperate to find out the reason behind it.

Hiro waited patiently as the girl got closer and closer until she was within range. The slightest of twitches in his fingers and toes were all the movements Hiro was making. He may only have one chance so he was being extra careful about making it count.

NOW! Hiro jumped up in the air as high as he could and right in front of the girls face. “Hey flatty,” Hiro said sinisterly with that same smile on his face. His head was a little low so she couldn’t see his entire face through his hair but the sound of his voice should have been enough. Hiro raised his head though, showing eyes that were filled with excitement and filled with a deviousness unlike anything else in this world. “Let me borrow the cat for a minute.” Hiro didn’t hesitate as his fiendish left hand reached around the girl and he tried to grab the cat. Hiro wasn’t going to just let it evade him though as his other, equally fiendish right hand reached to grab hold of the girl’s collar. If he was able to grab the girl, the cat would be caught in a position to either escape on its own or let itself get caught for the girls sake. As he made these reaches, his flames diminished to avoid burning the cat’s wings. He wasn’t skilled enough yet to partially diminish the flames. Hiro had to either diminish them entirely or let them all come out at once.

Which would the cat choose? That was the question. Hiro was making a bit of a bet because if the cat escaped he would be stuck at the bottom of this canyon for a while. There wasn’t much to eat here so it would become more difficult to get out the longer he stayed down here so getting out of this canyon was a priority.

As they were almost at the entrance to the cave, he jumped, high above them looked down at the two and spoke, “Hey flatty,” he said sinister-like with a big smirk on his face. “Let me borrow the cat for a minute.” He then reached out and grabbed a hold of Rin's shirt collar as well as he grabbed a hold of hibiki. They didn't know what this guy was thinking but Rin didn't really care about that, for she had something else on her mind. Her head went down, "What did you... just call ME?!?!" A sweat bubble formed on the back of Hibiki's head "Now, you're done it flame boy." he said with a slight smirk. "Hey, hibiki, let go of me and fly off, I'll deal with this myself." Hibiki was a bit surprised, "but Rinny, if I let go of you, you'll fall to the bottom of this canyon along with this idiot demon guy." Rin nodded, "yeah, I know, but i need to teach this guy some manners, now go!" With that hibiki nodded and let go of the two and flew off. They began to fall to the bottom of the canyon. "Now, mister demon..." Rin had a scary and evil look in her eyes as she talked to him. "What pray tell were you thinking, when you called me 'flatty'??" However, before he could speak, they finally landed on the floor of the canyon. The demon boy made a big thud and Rin fell on top of him. When she realized that her fall had been cushioned by him and the position they were in, Rin became super nervous, her face was completely red. What, what do I do now?? We're in such a position, I don't know what to do wahh!! Now that Rin got better look at his face, she saw he was quite good-looking and that only made her more nervous.

“Damn it!” Hiro called out as the flying, talking, cat thing let go and flew away out of reach. They started to fall to the ground and the girl seemed a little angry about Hiro stating what he thought was the obvious and common knowledge. Why was it bothering her so much? Hiro thought, forgetting to pay attention to the ground as his knees buckled under him when he hit the ground and fell on his back. He immediately felt the weight of the girl on top of him.

Hiro gritted his teeth and winced in pain from the fall but he refused to let out any noise of weakness that the girl could hear. Once the girl got up a little she was looking at his face and her face was more flushed than a toilet and as red as a beat. Hiro was a little red himself although he seemed to have a better complexion than the girl. Hiro didn’t exactly know what to say and it was more important to keep control of his satanic instincts which were telling him to do things he would never dare do. “Hey…Would you mind getting off me?” Hiro said with a slight hesitation. He didn’t know what to do in this situation. He wasn’t heavily attracted to her or anything but she was still kind of cute. Also she was heavier than she looked.

Hiro looked passed the girl for a second and noticed the cat in the background and he immediately sprang back into action, knocking the girl off him and to side. “GET BACK HERE YOU DAMN CAT!” He yelled out as he started chasing the cat. Hiro had to worry about getting out of the canyon as fast as possible before the rune knights decided to investigate the rumors of a demon running around Oak town. “AND I’M NOT A DEMON I’M HALF DEVIL DAMN IT!” Hiro yelled at the girl as he kept chasing the orange cat.

He then became a bit red himself “Hey…Would you mind getting off me?” he said with a slight hesitation in his voice. She was frozen with nervousness and couldn't move but then, he noticed hibiki floating around in the background and became angry, carelessly letting her fall off to the side as he jumped back up. Rin let out a cute girly scream at that moment "kyaa!" He payed no mind to her and yelled to hibiki, “GET BACK HERE YOU DAMN CAT!” Rin couldn't understand why he hadn't attacked either of them yet and she was still feeling that strangely familiar energy she felt earlier coming from the demon boy.  
Why do I feel this way, I'm pretty sure I've never met him before in my life but still...
then a memory suddenly rushed through Rin's head, of a childhood friend who's face she couldn't remember. He then look to her, making her nervous again. . “AND I’M NOT A DEMON I’M HALF DEVIL DAMN IT!” he screamed while running after hibiki. What the hell is this guy's deal anyways?! She began to chase after him, running fast. She just had to figure out why she felt this way and whether or not this person had a connection to her or

Hiro paid no attention to the girl and didn’t realize she had started chasing him. Hiro looked to the wall to see a rising pathway and he took it to try and catch up with the cat and close the height difference. All the while he never realized that the girl was actually faster than she looked at was actually keeping pace with him. The gap between the two wasn’t really closing but it wasn’t getting any bigger either. It didn’t matter though all he cared about was using that orange ball of flying fur to get out of this canyon and that’s what he intended to do.

After a good distance running, Hiro picked up his pace as much as he could suddenly as he veered closer to the edge. It was kind of like watching a cheetah chasing after its prey as he jumped off the ledge and reached out with his clawed hands in an effort to grab hold of the cat. “YOUR MINE NOW YOU OVERSIZED FLYING GERBIL CAT THING!”

Rin was actually able to keep up with him. But she was starting to get tired of running after him but she just HAD to find out the reason behind this familiar energy she was feeling from the devil boy. One thing about Rin was, when she feels a person's energy once, she never forgets the feeling of it. Then as she got closer she saw he was closing in on Hibiki as he reached the edge of the pathway they were currently on. He jumped into the air towards Hibiki and yelled out “YOUR MINE NOW YOU OVERSIZED FLYING GERBIL CAT THING!” He was about to have Hibiki in his hands, Rin had to act fast. So without thinking Rin shouted "Hibiki out of the way!" Hibiki nodded and flew out of range. "Lightening Strike of the Tempest Demon!!!" With that, a huge lightening bolt came crashing down upon the devil boy, it hit him, paralyzing and knocking him out. And with that he started falling to some stalagmites below. Rin saw and called out to Hibiki to grab him and bring him to safety. "That's good, lay him down here Hibiki." Hibiki nodded "sure thing Rinny" She set his head down in her lap, while rubbing his hair. I wonder why he was trying to catch Hibiki, and why does he feel familiar to me? She looked at his sleeping face and blushed.

“Huh?” Hiro overheard the girl say something that didn’t sound quite right. Did she just say, Hiro’s thought was cut short as he felt a surge of electricity enter his body and the sharp stinging pain waved over his entire body. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Hiro let out a scream before he blacked out. She’s a mage? Was the last thought Hiro had as his body fell to the ground.

Hiro’s eyes shot open to see the orange cat that he had been chasing for so long standing near his face. Hiro’s hands didn’t hesitate and he instinctively lunged at his prey awkwardly due to the position he was in and grabbed the cat by the face with a sinister smile on his face. “alright now,” Hiro muttered, “You’ve caused me quite a bit of trouble trying to catch you, you irritating raccoon. Now you’re going to take me out of this canyon like a good cat, or I can just eat you. Your choice.”
Hiro's stomach let out a loud growl that confirmed his hunger and malicious intent towards the talking orange ball of fur.

Rin saw the devil boy awaken and grab Hibiki's face without a moments hesitation. “alright now,” he muttered, “You've caused me quite a bit of trouble trying to catch you, you irritating raccoon. Now you're going to take me out of this canyon like a good cat, or I can just eat you. Your choice.” Hibiki started trembling between the guy's hand and fingers. "rinny, help me~!" Rin got pretty pissed in that instant and punched him on the head hard then shouted "You creep! Let go of Hibiki you stupid demon!!" She then grabbed Hibiki away from him and hugged him "Are you ok Hibiki?" Hibiki sniffled and nodded digging his face into Rin's chest. "What's your problem anyways?! Why have you been after my exceed?! Talk NOW!" Rin crossed her arms and tapped her foot looking down at him, while hibiki floated in the air next to her waiting for his reply. Rin had finally had it, she was seriously pissed now.

Hiro felt a hard thud hit the back of his head as the girl punched him in the back of the head. Hiro let go of the cat due to the sudden surprise of getting hit…again. At least this time it was with her fist and not a lightning bolt. Hiro staggered forward from the impact but managed to keep his footing as the flying cat flew away from him and into the mage girl’s chest. Hiro gritted his teeth as he seethed with as much irritation and anger that he had when he was lost on the canyons trails.

“Why the hell would I answer to you?” Hiro retorted back in a soft voice that belied his seething and undeniable rage as his flames reemerged from his body, burning even brighter and more furiously than normal as he glared the girl back in the eyes. He was tired of putting up with this shit and was ready to pick a fight if that’s what she really wanted. All Hiro wanted was to use the flying cat, exceed, whatever it was to leave this damn canyon, after that he’d let it go, assuming it actually helped him and did as it was told.

“Why the hell would I answer to you?” He retorted back in a soft voice that belied his seething and undeniable rage as his flames reemerged from his body, burning even brighter and more furiously than normal as he glared back in the eyes of Rin. "Idiot, I'm not trying to start a fight here, ok?! I just want to know what your deal is." Rin's glare ceased and looked straight at him then sighed. "I was right, I feel a strange, yet a familiar energy from you that I can't understand." She got a little closer to his face "At least answer this, you could of easily killed us when we first saw you, but you didn't and you've had plenty of chances but each one, you passed up. It's obvious that you didn't want to be seen by anyone. So why?" She smiled softly at him "I don't think you're really all that bad, even if you ARE a devil. And even if you have been trying to catch my friend for whatever the reason is." She then held out her hand. "My name's Rin, Rin Minamoto. What's yours? Or would you prefer it if I just referred to you as "devil boy"? She laughed a bit after her last comment.

Hiro let himself calm down for a moment. He wasn’t happy and the flames coating his body signified that anger he was feeling but he wasn’t lashing out. “Why the hell would I try and kill you?” Hiro retorted at her stupid question. There was no reason to kill her and doing so would only cause trouble for Hiro. It would be ridiculous and stupid for him to attack. Did she really think devils were nothing but violent barbaric monsters with a lust for blood?

“Tsk,” Hiro spat on the ground and just walked passed her. He was irritated and tired. “Hiro,” the devil replied. “Hiro Villenn. Now I’m going to say it once more. I’m borrowing the cat. I won’t kill him afterwards but I’m tired and hungry.” Hiro stood in front of the cat and faced it. “Fly me out of this damned canyon. After that you can do what you want.” Hiro turned his head and gave the girl a glance as he let his flames fully die down. “If anyone asks, as far as you know, I don’t exist. I don’t care who asks I don’t exist.” Hiro explained to her. He couldn’t afford to let himself become public knowledge so getting her silence before he left was important.

He replied to Rin's question in a somewhat angry tone. . “Why the hell would I try and kill you?” He then spat on the ground and walked past her. “Hiro Villenn. Now I’m going to say it once more. I’m borrowing the cat. I won’t kill him afterwards but I’m tired and hungry.” What does he want Hibiki for anyways? He stood in front of Hibiki now facing him. [color=#33ffff]“Fly me out of this damned canyon. After that you can do what you want.”[/color] A sweat bubble formed on the back of Rin's head. What an idiot! She thought to herself. He then turned to Rin,  “If anyone asks, as far as you know, I don’t exist. I don’t care who asks I don’t exist.” She just looked at him, slightly irritated.She grabbed onto his arm without thinking "hey, Hiro, did it ever occur to you, that you should have, oh I don't know... ASKED us for help out of this canyon? I mean, just cuz you're a demon, doesn't mean we wouldn't help you. And another thing, you seem like a loner, so why don't you travel with us for a while, we don't mind. I mean, my adopted father was a demon I lived peacefully and happily with him for years." Hibiki look at him "You should take Rinny up on her offer buddy. It's not half bad if you think about it." She then realized that she was still holding onto his arm, let it go and began blushing.

“You expect me to ask for help from the people who have a ninety nine point nine percent chance of wanting to pin me to a stake and burning me alive?” Hiro retorted back. That was such a stupid question. Who in their right mind asks a person who probably wants to kill him for help? That’s like running down the street in your underwear yelling Hacoona Mattatta at the top of your lungs with burnt toast in your hand . You don’t. It’s ridiculous and you don’t. Why are you in your underwear, what does hacoona mattatta have to do with anything and most importantly, why are you carrying burnt toast? It will taste horrible, even with melted butter so you should have just thrown it away, insects without taste buds could eat it. Everything about it is absolutely ridiculous.  “Heck you probably came here with the intentions of hunting me not hanging out with me.”

Hiro scratched his head. He couldn’t figure out this woman. First she says he feels familiar and now she’s saying she wants to help. Or is she saying she wants to help? Hiro actually couldn’t tell at this point. “Damn it,” Hiro muttered to himself. “Alright then fine if you’re gonna come along then I don’t mind. I’m heading to Hargeon at the moment. Tag along if you like but you gotta carry your own weight.”

"Heck you probably came here with the intentions of hunting me not hanging out with me.” Then, Rin got pissed, and without thinking, she struck him on the head. "now, listen here, you stupid demon. We didn't come here to hunt you down, we only came here to confirm the rumor we heard in oak town, and we wouldn't try to pin you to a stake or anything." After she had her fill of yelling at him, he spoke again, “Damn it, Alright then fine if you’re gonna come along then I don’t mind. I’m heading to Hargeon at the moment. Tag along if you like but you gotta carry your own weight.” Rin then cleared her throat, "fine" Hibiki then looked to Rin "hey Rinny, how do u suppose I carry you both out of here?" "one at a time of course, how else Hibiki?" After they talked it over, Hibiki first carried Rin to safety up and out of the canyon. "ok, I'm gonna go back and grab Mr. moody." [ "k, see you in a bit." Rin began to think, about "him" the childhood friend and how this guy seemed familiar to her. Then, Hibiki came flying up, carrying Hiro and set him down near Rin but just as he set him down and Rin went to stand up, she tripped falling towards Hiro, letting out a girly scream "Kyaa~! Watch out!"

Hiro got picked up by the cat and was finally getting out of this god forsaken canyon. Or perhaps he was the one forsaken by god and not the place. God may have just been using the place to torment Hiro who was the one who was forsaken. Hiro contemplated bailing out. Why did he have to deal with this irritating girl all the way to Hargeon town? All she had done so far was hit Hiro in the head and follow him around on a flying catbird. Hiro thought about it for a little too long though as he saw the girl waiting for him, as he arrived on the wings of her cat. Guess I got no choice now. Damn it.

Once he landed on the ground though she lost her balance on a pebble a she tried to get up…a PEBBLE. Hiro didn’t even bother trying to help and just took a quick step back and let her fall on her face. He was a devil after all and you shouldn’t be expecting kindness from such a creature. They at least had their instinctually ingrained evils that were simply part of who they were. “Hey now are you really going to be alright? You got defeated by a pebble.” Hiro mocked with a rather unimpressed and dull tone as he looked down at her. “Please tell me that little speck of dirt is stronger than the wolves and bears we may have to deal with on the way back. Also we’ll probably steal from the first merchant caravan I see and if you trip while we’re running I’m not going to stop for you.”

Rin fell flat on her face "Hey now are you really going to be alright? You got defeated by a pebble.” Hiro mocked with a rather unimpressed and dull tone as he looked down at Rin. “Please tell me that little speck of dirt is stronger than the wolves and bears we may have to deal with on the way back. Also we’ll probably steal from the first merchant caravan I see and if you trip while we’re running I’m not going to stop for you.” That was really harsh. She got up and brushed herself off, then walked over to him and slapped him straight across the face with tears in her eyes. "forget it, I don't why the fucking hell I even tried to show a cold-hearted demon like you any kindness. You make me sick!" Rin had never been shaken up like this before, and usually she didn't get emotional like this just from the words of a stranger but for some reason, the demon boy's words really hurt. She then motioned at Hibiki "c'mon, let's go." He nodded and flew past Hiro. And in a low voice he spoke to hiro, "you're a real jerk, and here Rinny was trying to be kind to you, have a nice life you stupid moody demon." As they walked away, Rin started to remember something and stopped in her tracks, and turned to face Hiro. She'd finally understood why he felt familiar to her. "Hey, Hiro, do you remember a stormy island where there lived a young girl and a tempest demon?" She patiently awaited for his reply.

Hiro took quite a slap across the face. Even at the end of their encounter, this girl was hitting Hiro and it was frankly starting to really piss him off. She quickly turned around and stormed off after yelling at him. Hiro thought about giving her a piece of his mind but Hiro was just glad she was going to leave and turned around and started walking towards Hargeon after taking some shit from the cat.


“Hm?” Hiro looked at her for a minute. Her question was strange and out of the blue and it didn’t make any sense to ask it then. What the hell could have possibly been driven into her head when she hit the ground to ask that question now? Hiro had a quick glance at the back of his mind though to see if he could remember anything about it though. Although he didn’t think on it heavily he still gave it a moment as his eyes rolled up in thought. “Nope,” Hiro answered bluntly and honestly. To Hiro’s knowledge, he had never been to such a place. Why on earth would he have gone to a place like that? “Do you have any other questions you want to ask me? I haven’t eaten in a few days now so I’d like to get to hunting or stealing from caravans.”

"No, but I'm surprised, i really thought you were 'him' Hiro,you even have the same name, but i guess it was just a coincidence that you two are alike huh? eheh" Rin tried her best to force a smile but it was completely clear she was forcing it. Rin was so disappointed, she really thought she had found him. She put her head back up and looked over at Hiro with a pained look on her face "I'm sorry for springing such a weird question on you. C'mon, let's go Hibiki." Hibiki nodded and the two began to walk away from the demon once more.
