-Unnamed Topic- [Hiro and Rita]

Rita now found herself wandering outside on the streets of Rose Garden. She noted it was unusually quiet outside she swore she didn't see people outside for blocks "could it be because all the stores are closed?" She wandered blindly ignoring the fact that it was 11:00 at night and she was still outside. Rita was clueless as to where she was going all she told herself was "I've gotta find a lead or something..." As if on cue Rita suddenly heard the loud noise of shattering glass followed by a loud and constant alarm. She looked back to see the inside lights of a jewelry parlor blinking red, the window had been busted out of. Lacking hesitation Rita ran over to the scene. She quickly tracked something running off into the darkness. "Hey!" Rita yelled after them but they did not cease so Rita went in a sprint to catch the burglar. He was quick but Rita wasn't giving up so quickly. Catching up Rita was now about a meter or two away she reached a hand out "Shadow Make:Wall" She called after the thief. Suddenly the blackness that coated the street seeped upwards lacing together to create a wall no bigger then 10 feet in diameter.Blindly, he crashed face fist into her barricade falling back on his rear. "Decent job" A voice hissed In the back of Rita's mind that she dismissed. She grabbed the thief by the collar holding him up Rita was about to say something when the voice in her thread wrecked her train of thought "You think He knows anything about your sister...?" They murmured. At this Rita's eyes panged into hate as Rita now grabbed the thief at the neck. "...What do you know." Rita growled at him. "I-I I just needed the money you can take it just don't hurt me!" "I SAID WHAT DO YOU KNOW!" Rita yelled now in a more tuned off tone. She now forced on a smirk literally strangling answers out of the man.

Hiro let out a yawn as he heard a noise. He had fallen asleep under the moonlight on the rooftops inside a bell tower. “What the hell is going on,” Hiro asked himself as he lifted himself upright and began stretching. Rooftops were never comfortable but there wasn’t really a great place to put he left his hammock in the last town he was in so he was stuck sleeping in less comfortable conditions.

Hiro looked around and used his ears to pick up exactly where the noise was coming from. It was close. Hiro wasn’t going to get any sleep like this so he figured he might as well check it out and popped up and started running in the general direction of the commotion. It sounded like a misunderstanding of some kind. Someone was looking for info and trying to force it out of somebody who didn’t have it. Hiro couldn’t make out much of what one of the people were saying but the other was loud enough to make out.

Hiro eventually got to the alleyway where the dispute was going on and felt something slip out from under his feet. A tile of the roof he was on had loosened and slipped right from underneath his feet and instead of jumping down in between the two and looking cool, he was now falling head first. “SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!?”

Hiro crashed into one of the people. It was the violent one who wanted information because the other one bolted immediately after like his life depended on it. “Ow ow ow. That hurt,” Hiro said as he got himself up to his knees. When he looked down he realized he had fallen into the persons chest and when he looked up to see the person’s face he realized it was a girl. “Huh,” Hiro said as he got to his feet. “Quite the modest chest you have there. I had to look at your face to realize your actual gender,” Hiro explained, brushing himself off.

Rita was now practically killing the guy her hands tightening into his throat. "DAMMIT YOU BEST ANSWER ME!" Rita yelled angrily expecting an answer from him. She was blindly suffocating him loosing hand of her rage in the process. She started to smirk as the man now pleaded for air. Suddenly Rita heard a faint crack sound from the buildings above the faint noise was followed by a panicked voice that she did not recognize. “SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!?” Rita looked up only seeing a  blur of whatever was now falling towards her.

"Wh-What t-"She stammered before whatever it was crashed right into her chest slamming her head first into the ground. Rita's mind came unsteady do to the sudden shock as she stared blindly into the sky dazed. Refocusing she blinked two or three times.She noted that her chest seemed heavy on her all of the sudden it was a matter of time before she realized that some guy had fallen out of the sky and landed face first into her bust. “Ow ow ow. That hurt,” She shot the creep a menacing look as he got up. She was about to say something when he said something instead that made Rita all the more pissed.“Quite the modest chest you have there. I had to look at your face to realize your actual gender,” her expression now turned to a grimace. "What the hell Is wrong with you?! You let my only suspect get away, and don't even get me started on your damn comment!" Rita yelled. She drew an odd looking blade that was sheathed on her upper back, Notably the blade had no center rendering it completely hollow except for its edges. "I BET YOUR WORKING FOR HER TOO AREN'T YOU!" Rita yelled as her eyes grew fiery charging at him with her weapon.

“HUH? The hell are you talking about?” Hiro thought. This girl must be out of her mind. Either that or she’s just plain stupid. First she starts interrogating a low life like that guy and now she thought they were BOTH working for the same person. Whoever that person was it was clear that person was her enemy. Still, she was really stupid.

Hiro let out a sigh. “I can’t believe I woke up for this,” Hiro said as he ducked under her blade. Hiro then decided it would be best to calm her down. It sucked that Hiro couldn’t use his magic in public but Hiro wouldn’t need magic for this. Hiro let the girl’s momentum move her towards him as he let loose a straight punch towards her abdomen. Hiro figured that should be enough. Hiro may be human but that was only half. The strength of a devil dwelled inside him. That strength was plenty for Hiro to hurt someone whose movement was directly into his fist.

Before Rita knew it She took a blow to her gut. She staggered back at the impact of this where her grip on her weapon eased until It slipped out of her hands where it landed upon the ground with a clatter. All before Rita was hit with a wave of confusion bringing her palm to her head as it suddenly began to throb. Rita looked around unfamiliar with how she ended up in this setting. Rita looked ahead at the man confused as she rose a brow at his sudden appearance "When did you show up? Where did the crook go?" She asked him dumbly having no memory of  what she had just been through.  She looked down at her weapon dully "How did you get down here?" She asked to no one in particular as she keeled down retrieving her blade eyeing the guy that stood ahead of her. She slipped her weapon back into its sheath safely trying to remember how she had gotten in this position but to no avail.

Hey Hey now, I didn’t hit you that hard. I didn’t even hit your head, Hiro thought. I understand blinded by rage but come on now this is just ridiculous. The half-devil scratched the back of his head as his eyes closed in irritation. He didn’t really know what to do with this. She was not only a complete loose cannon but now she looked like a scared puppy. Hiro’s looks weren’t exactly soothing either.

“Damn it all. Why didn’t I just knock the two of you unconscious and then go back to sleep,” Hiro said to himself, although loud enough for the girl to hear. The only reason he came over here was because he was woken up now he got stuck in this mess.  “Hey cutting board! I dunno why your roaming about picking fights but it woke me up so could you save it for another day?” Hiro asked in a rather demanding tone. He was in a bad mood because he was not only woken up but fell off a building trying to see what was going on, only to realize some crazy bitch was running around town tormenting people for information. That was something Hiro saw his father doing and it pissed him off. Hiro wasn’t exactly a saint himself but at least he had enough self-control to not go around raping beautiful women and tormenting everyone he saw to answer his questions or receive a one way trip to hell.

Hiro started to walk up to the drain pipe on the side of the wall and started climbing up the pole with ease. Once Hiro was back up on the roof Hiro took a look back at the girl from a crouched position. “Anyway just don’t make so much noise. It’s a pain in the ass,” Hiro said as he sprinted back off to his nice little napping spot.

Rita twitched an eye as her expression faded to grimace, a tick mark appearing on her head comically. "Cutting board?..." She echoed in a Pissed off growl. "Heh, Your the one picking the fights buddy!" Rita called back out before she stood and angrily muttered untranslatable phrases to herself trying to blow off some steam The shadow wizard followed him up to the roof by springing off of a dumpster.  She ran in his direction trying to keep track of him. Suddenly a brick from the roof slid out from under her leaving her to face plant in the ground. "Ouch" She mumbled into the ground before staggering up to her feet where she picked up the brick she had tripped over. Rita got a comically evil glint in her eyes. She decided to silently follow him with a plan to get some pay back. She wasn't all that fond of her nickname 'cutting board.'

So Rita followed him back to his sleeping spot. Where she waited for him to get himself all cozy and fall back to sleep in the town bell tower. The vengeance seeking girl picked up a loose brick tossing it up in her hands with a smirk. She clasped the brick in her hand steadying it preparing to throw it the same way you would throw a dart. Rita slung her arm back, brick in hand. Only to dart it forward abandoning her hold on the brick. For something rather heavy it flew great distance towards the tower all until it met its destination. The brick crashed its way right into the bell of the tower causing the bell to ring off loudly through the whole town. The noise must of been deafening from the inside of the tower. Rita smirked at this sinking back down onto the street.

Hiro ran across the rooftops at a good pace. He had pretty much forgotten about the girl and that whole incident other than the fact that it was annoying him. It was really irritating that he had been woken up by such a pointless skirmish.

Hiro eventually got to his bell tower and hopped back inside and laid down on the cold stone again. Everything was nice and quiet. Slowly but surely, Hiro drifted off back to sleep... until he heard another noise, a loud noise, no an incredibly loud noise. It was close. It was ringing. The bell atop in the tower was letting out an ear splitting noise as Hiro gritted his teeth from the pain. Having improved senses wasn’t always a good thing. Sometimes noises got to loud and were actually severely painful. This was one such noise.

Hiro quickly put his hands over his pointed ears in a reflex to try and drown out the noise to no avail. It was too close for Hiro to do anything as the banging noise of the bell continued. “Shut up,” Hiro mumbled as his body start to shake. A blue spark came out of his body. The bell it didn’t listen of course and continued to ring loudly in his ears. “Shut Up!” Hiro said a little more loudly. More blue sparks were coming out of Hiro’s body as the flames of his soul started to rise forth from his body. The bell didn’t stop though. “DAMN IT I SAID SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!” Hiro couldn’t handle it any longer, not that he could handle it to begin with. Hiro’s devil form came out on instinct and Hiro’s rage continued to build and build, causing the flames to sear out unconditionally into the compressed space of the bell tower and into the bell. The bell still didn’t stop ringing and Hiro’s yell became louder and more intense. “GOD DAMN IT SHUT THE HELL UP! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” The flames continued to pour into the bell and outside of the bell tower one would see a blue glow and small amounts of flames seeping out of the bell tower. The flames continued to build up in the tower as Hiro began punching the ground because the pain was so intense. The tower was old and the stone was weak and the support was almost non-existent as the floor collapsed and he fell inside. Inside, near the top most floor was coal and gunpowder, probably stolen by some thugs and hidden in a place most people wouldn’t dare enter. Just a little bit of flame was enough as a blue eruption illuminated the night sky, and the top of the bell tower was destroyed. As this happened, Hiro hit the bottom of the bell tower with a thud.

The ringing had finally stopped as Hiro got to his knees holding his head in pain. The ringing was actually severe enough to make Hiro’s ears bleed. Hiro could still hear but it would be incredibly painful. His flames were no longer seeping from his body, all his power was depleted and he couldn’t use it anymore. Hiro was tired, weak, and his tail was exposed. He had to get out of the tower before people started flooding in to see what happened and that he was the cause. Hiro slowly got to his feet and began trying to think through the massive headache on a way to get out of the bell tower.

Rita looked back at the bell tower with shock. There were flames now, emitting a blue aura. She heard a crash within the tower over the bell. "Oh boy..." She sighed. Rita headed in the direction of the tower. On he way she was alarmed by a massive explosion. She looked up as the Blue eruption lit up in the sky.

Rita started into a sprint towards the tower. Lights in homes began to come on one as people were awakened by the massive sound that the explosion made. She rushed herself closer and closer to the scene trying to get there before anyone else did. Rita made it to what appeared to be the entry way to the place she looked up at the door that was still standing. Not even bothering to turn the knob she forcefully kicked it in. The door fell down where it landed in front of him with a thud. Rita looked at him twitching an eye frustrated. "What the hell did you do?!?!..." She growled examining the mess he had made of the bell tower.

Soon enough people began to clutter up on the streets. She glimpsed back before turning her attention back to him. "Its gonna be any minute before the town guards show up...heh good luck slipping out of this one buddy." She said with a smirk. She brought her hands to her sides refocusing on him intently. "Now how did you just blow up th-" She was driven off focus when she saw that he now had a tail. She tilted her head eyeing it as she steeped closer to him. "What the hell is this...?" She asked as she yanked on his tail forcefully and curious.

Hiro felt a tug in the worst possible area as a shock of pain surged through his spine, throughout his entire body. It felt as though his very spine was being pulled out from his ass. The response was quite obvious. Hiro’s flames burst from his body and he screamed such bloody murder it was as if Hitler himself was screaming for his sins in hell.

Hiro shot back and away from whomever it was that pulled his tail only to see the girl who had originally woke him up in the first place. “DINNER PLATE BOOBS!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!” Hiro yelled out in rage. Hiro noticed something though and began tapping hitting the side of his head. He couldn’t hear. The sound of the bell had shot his hearing and he could barely hear his own screaming. Even then it still hurt.  “You…I assume the rune knights are going to be here any second so I can’t deal with you at the moment,” Hiro said what he thought was softly due to his bad hearing but was actually much louder than he thought it was. Hiro suddenly shot forward at the girl, plowing his shoulder into her stomach and lifting her over his shoulder as he ran towards the still intact stairs. "So I guess your just going to have to come with me."

Getting out of town was his first priority. It would be easier if he could hear but he couldn’t do that so he decided to take a much higher route the whole way. Hiro was acting faster than he should though and forgot to hide his flames as he jumped out the highest window he could reach onto the rooftops. Everyone who was already outside saw the black silhouette of a demon with piercing blue eyes with a girl over its shoulder on the rooftops of their city, running away. Of course they thought the worst and everyone went into a frenzied panic screaming about it.

Hiro used the panic to his advantage though and quickly diminished his flames after he had gotten a distance away from the main crowd and changed directions. The rune knights would get wind of the initial direction of the demon coated in blue flames however now that there was nobody coated in blue flames, it would be harder for them to locate him. Hiro knew how to get out of situations like this; he’d survived five years in Fiore with his devilhood, looming over him like a curse. Hiro was able to eventually sneak into some alleyways where they wouldn’t look for him specifically as he continued to run in an effort to escape town.

Rita's ears ached at the devil's deafening screeching. His yelling left Rita temporarily deaf all she could hear was a muffled chiming.  He continued to yell something at her that she failed to hear over the ringing in her ears. Rita was unable to read lips so she just looked up at him dumbly as she rubbed her head.

Suddenly, He charged at her throwing her over his shoulder by forcing his shoulder into her gut. He flew up the stairs and raced her across the roof tops with her. "H-Hey What the hell are you doing?!" Rita asked in alarm. She got the idea he was ignoring what her ,oblivious to the fact that he had gone deaf thanks to the stunt she pulled. "Hey you creep are you not listening?!" She continued now starting to yank on his hair to get his attention. He continued not to answer, this did not sit well with Rita at all. Her temper started to show as her face grew red with frustration and a tick mark appeared on her head. "HEY DIMWIT, CAN YOU PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN ALREADY?!" she yelled as she began pounding her fists against his head in a cosmically fit.
