Personality: Ashaiya is an energetic and lively girl who wishes nothing more than to live her life to the full and to enjoy every moment of it. She is friendly and cheerful and always has a can do attitude but tends to rush in to situations rather than think them through. A moment spent dawdling is a waste in her opinion and she is almost always on the move, rarely settling down for any length of time which has been known to irritate others on occasion, even though she does not mean to. When not working, she either spends her time practising her magic or by hiking and exploring the lands around her, always hopeful to encounter someone or something new. Yet, she is loyal to her friends and family and will always return should they need her. She despises sadness and does her best to raise the spirits of those around her, whether by telling a joke or by making a fool of herself in order to make others laugh, she is never afraid to laugh at herself. She can be flirty on occasion but is not overly so, making an occasional witty remark or comment of that nature now and again. She is also quite the curious girl and will sometimes ask a question or make a comment which may seem perfectly fine to her but maybe awkward to another, sometimes she struggles to find the boundary between what is appropriate and what is not. It is never intentional but happens now and then. When it is pointed out to her, she always apologises and will more often than not drop the subject to prevent an argument.

Her energetic nature is best seen when in battle as she usually fights in a rather reckless and direct way, proffering to take the offensive when at all possible. She enjoys combat and is ready and willing to take part it in when the opportunity presents itself, eager to test her strength and push herself and her opponents to their limits. Ashaiya is talkative in battle and remains cheerful even in the midst of combat, which can give the impression that she's not taking it seriously. She tends to laugh off insults or taunts thrown at her and it takes a personal insult or two for her to become angry, although seeing her friends and allies being beaten or belittled will make her angry quicker. She does not condone killing and will cease combat when her opponent is beaten to the point of not being able to fight back. However, she is rather more stubborn when she is on the receiving end and stubbornly refuses to retreat out of pride and out of fear of letting those she cares about down. She is comfortable with taking a back seat and letting another lead and prefers that to being the leader herself, following their orders explicitly. She struggles more when leading though and is reluctant to place her allies in danger and make the decisions that need to be made.

Likes:
Adventure: She enjoys nothing more than travelling Earthland and exploring every village and town that she comes across.
A Challenge: She is always looking for a chance to test herself and her abilities, never shying away from an opportunity to do so.
Meeting New People: Social by nature, she is always happy to speak and adventure with anyone she meets.

Dislikes:
Sadness: There is nothing that bothers her more than a depressing atmosphere and she will do whatever is needed to get rid of it.
Idleness: She despises having to sit still and any time spent doing nothing is torture for her.
Betrayers: She believes strongly in the bonds between friends and meeting someone willing to break them for their own gain will quickly gain her dislike.

Motivations:
Her Family: Although she does not speak of them a great deal, her family are immensely important to her and she wishes to do them proud.
Her Guild: Being accepted as a member of the Guild was the greatest moment of her life and she is eager to prove her worth and become a successful mage.
To Help Those In Need: To help those in trouble or danger and to bring some joy back in to the lives of those who have suffered.

Fears:
Helplessness: To be unable to help those who need her is her greatest fear, to be forced to sit by and watch, unable to do anything.
Loneliness: She has no love for being alone and this is one of the reasons why she is always doing something, so that she has something or someone on her mind.
Platypus: A childish fear she gained from when she was five, when one of her brothers sneaked in to her room and placed one underneath her covers, scaring her half to death when it waddled over her while she was sleeping and woke her up. She has been afraid of them ever since.
