Von sat on a rock thirty meters away from the old Sabertooth guild hall, he gazed upward at the floating metal guild hall far above. He squinted at it examining it's features "Tch, I guess I should see what the big deal is about 'Sabertooth'. Supposed guild of virtue and what not." Von stood up straight and slung his sword sheath over his shoulder, it made a hollow clang as it his his shoulder and he grimaced. The sword was only a replica of a legendary sword, it didn't even have a blade just a sheath and a dummy handle. Why he had a replica of a legendary sword for a weapon was a bit of a sore subject for Von so he shook it out of his mind and prepared to ascend. He closed his eyes and released a magic pulse through his body and just like that his body became magnetic.
Using his telepathic command of magnetism he lifted himself up and launched himself upward. Flight through this technique wasn't Von's favorite method of getting around but he didn't want to take the teleport lacrima as he wasn't sure he wanted to make his presence known quite yet and he knew if he used the lacrima he would be caught in an instant. As he flew through the air propelled by his own magnetic power Von had to keep a hand on his hat to stop it from blowing away, he didn't know what he would do without that hat, and his other hand was occupied holding onto his sword(or lack thereof). Flying was annoying for Von, it blew all of Von's stuff around, it was uncomfortable, it got really cold at high altitudes and consumed more magic power then it was worth. So Von grateful when he reached the Sabertooth guild hall in the sky and planned to touch down as soon as possible. He wanted to land on the open platform where the teleporter lacrima let out, but that would defeat the purpose of flying up, there weren't many good open roofed sections of the building to land in so Von flew over to what appeared to be an arena and would attempt to land there. But as he got close he found himself stopped by an invisible magic barrier "This just can't be easy can it?"
Von flew back to the main guild building and landed on the roof looking down at it. "Looks like it's built to have on way in and one way out. Guess I will have to make a way." He felt the majority of the guild was made of metal, which made things a bit easier; he opened a small gap in the roof with his magnet magic and dropped into the guild sealing the opening behind him. Von landed in the middle of the east wing of the guild hall, living quarters. He didn't see anyone around as he glanced around he didn't see anyone but figured with all the doors on either side of him someone was likely to come in soon. The hall seemed to go on forever, so he chose a direction and went towards it. He followed the hallway for an annoyingly long time, it was by sheer luck that no one came into the hallway during the time, but eventually Von came to the end of the hall where a door stood with a number zero engraved above it. This naturally caught his attention and he reached for the door handle finding it locked Von pulled his hand back and considered trying to use his magic to unlock it. But the magnetic mage felt that things were locked for a reason and left it alone. He turned his back to the door and looked back down the long hallway "Guess I chose the wrong way."
