Rin had been caught up in the war of Era. After the war had ended, Rin fell into a coma. She finally awoke in a magnolia hospital but had lost her memories, she had no clue who she was or what had happened to her. The doctors told her, her name was Rin and that she had been in a coma for a whole year, it really shocked her. So she was kept in the hospital to find out how long it would take for her memories to come back. The doctors ascertained that her memories would not return for some time. After several weeks, Rin's memories began to come back to her, she remembered, who she was, where her home was and that she could use demon slayer magic. However, any memories of other people she knew, did not return to her yet. She went back to her home, to see if she could recover her memories. When she made it home, the servants rushed out to greet her, they were all so happy to see she was safe but Rin didn't know who any of them were. The servants were quite sad to find out that their mistress had almost none of her memories. After re-learning her servants names, Rin decided that she would travel in search of her lost memories, hoping to recover them. She changed into her armor and carried her sword and left the island of storms. Rin would not go back to her home until she'd regained her lost memories. Rin began her journey in Hargeon town. She wanted to try to remember people and everything else about herself that she had forgotten. After being in Hargeon for a couple weeks, she left and headed to the next closest town which was Magnolia. Once there, Rin found herself at the fairy tail guild hall. When she went inside, she was warmly welcomed by everyone in the hall, it seemed they knew her but she couldn't remember them at all. Then, a she looked at the back of her right hand and a memory came rushing back, she now remembered that she was a member of the fairy tail guild but still couldn't remember who any of her guildmates were. Rin still continues to travel, searching for her lost memories and won't stop till she recovers them all. Eventually, she makes it to oak town, where a healing mage is said to live. She goes to visit this mage who possesses healing magic. Rin hoped that this person could restore her lost memories. "Are you the one that can use healing magic?" Rin asks. The woman nods "Yes, I am, what have you come to my home for child?" Rin takes a deep breath and proceeds to answer "You see.. I lost my memories, and I was hoping your healing magic could help restore them." The woman nods once more "Well, I can certainly try but I can't promise you anything dear." So Rin allows the woman to use her magic to restore her memories. Once the spell starts, all these memories come rushing into Rin's head all at once and then she stood up "I..I Remember! All of it!" The woman smiles at Rin. Then, Rin thanks the woman and leaves. She then realizes that Hibiki is missing. Rin then pulls out a special whistle and blows it, hoping that Hibiki will come running. She continues her travels and then she remembers, she was separated from Hibiki back in Era during the war. So Rin heads straight for Era only to find out Hibiki was taken to the closest hospital and rushes there. When she arrives, Hibiki flies into Rin's arms happily. Now that the two have reunited, they head home.

Re: Timeskip Thread
Months 1-4
During the months after Era, Indar had been travelling around Fiore. He didn't take part in the events of Era nor would have he liked to take part in them. He didn't really care what happened at Era or what happened to the magic council. He only thought of the guild he had left behind, to go travelling like this. He had no real reason to go away like that but he just couldn't stay at Sabertooth anymore. Something drove him away from there and before Indar could return he had to find out what.
This task seemed impossible and there seemed to be no way to get the feeling out of himself. He had tried what seemed like everything, no conventional help didn't work or even talking about it to people didn't work. The idea that the feeling would stay in him for the rest of his life scared Indar and affected his already weak mind even more. The madness was even stronger than before, it was reaching critical levels. If this kept up there would be no knowing what Indar would happen to do.
During a night of the 4th month, Indar suddenly woke up, completely in terror. He had finally understood the feeling that was inside him. He had felt this before, this feeling just meant trouble and horror. The one thing that Indar hated about himself with a passion. This feeling was the same feeling he had first felt when he gained his Abyssal magic. The feeling meant trouble, the abyss wanted to get out and claim souls. Last time it got control over Indar and that didn't end well. But even thinking about it made Indar furious. Atleast he knew what he had to do now. The little mountain village deep in the Phoenix Mountains, the place where Indar never wanted to return.
Month 5-8
Indar still hadn't reached the village, but had seen a lot during his travels. He hadn't made contact with a lot of people, to avoid any unnecessary fights or conflicts. The only conflict he had had was a small bandit group who had tried to rob him in the middle of the night. They weren't strong so Indar had given them a small beating and then let them go.
Though he had walked past Era, he didn't think of anything when walking past, Indar was too focused on his goal to even bother. He knew what would happen if he didn't reach his goal soon. The results would be devastating to himself and to anybody around him at that time. Any place he visited he payed no attention to it or it's people. He had seen a few magi every now and then but no one who he would know. The only thing he paid attention too was news that Sabertooth was switching it's guild master. This news was truly intriguing due to Indar not officially leaving Sabertooth but instead going on a break for a year or so. Still the news didn't say who was the new guild master, but only that Aegis was going. The news was kinda saddening, though Indar hadn't even spoken to him properly. Still, the guild might have changed a lot when he will finally return.
During the months, Indar kept searching for a certain village in the mountains. But it was a task most difficult, due to the village being hidden and no one living there anymore. The mountains were treacherous and being there alone was quite depressing. But there being no other choice, Indar had to push forward. There was nothing stopping him except his quilt. The guilt that was his family.
Month 9
Finally reaching the village, Indar just stopped and tried to remember all the good things that had happened in this village. There weren't many he could remember but just the few happy moments from his childhood, before that happened. Indar just walked past all the abandoned buildings, the people who had lived here all were gone. Some had left after the incident and some didn't make it through the incident. Looking at the village he had spent his childhood at in this state, Indar collapsed. The feeling that he was alone, no one was alive from his family and all his friends were gone. But he had brought this on himself and now it was time to make up for it. Indar got up and started to walk deeper into the village.
After walking for about 20 minutes, Indar stopped in front of a graveyard. With a sigh Indar stepped into the graveyard. The place was incredibly creepy and eerie. It felt unnatural but then again Indar as used to the unnatural feeling. He made his way towards three small graves. The graves had been overgrown by vegetation. Indar sat down in front of them, his head was done. The people who had been buried here were Indars parents and younger sister. The people he had cared for most in his life, dead in front of him. Nothing could bring them back. The worst thing being not the fact that they were dead but what killed them.
The killer was just sitting there on their graves staring at his hands. They had been killed by these hands, they were shown no mercy, all hope taken as Indar had been cursed by the Abyss. Nothing really changed with Indar coming here, there was nothing for him here but only misery and despair. Suddenly someone put their hand on Indars shoulder, shivers went down his spine and he froze. The person behind him only put a small letter next to Indar and then left without saying a word.
Indar took the letter, opening it quickly and reading extremely fast. Indar was shocked, the things he read from the letter couldn't be true. The feelings of his mother, when had this been written, this couldn't be a real letter, but this wasn't something Indar wanted to know. He was filled with joy after reading the letter. Indar always thought his family had hated him for doing the things he did, but as the letter said the Abyss lived through the Blackshield family and the only way to shut it away was to give Abyssal powers to one of the family. By choice of the family Indar had been picked. The letter also explained that they knew about the consequences and were prepared for death. The letter gave Indar a new life and a new meaning for life.
Indar now had no reason to stay in the village so started to make his was out of the village but was stopped by a sound. It sounded like slithering and well it was quite the creepy sound. This sound was something Indar had heard before, back when he was still a child. The village was known for having strange creatures around it every once a while but everyone outside had thought of them as hoaxes. This wasn't the sound of any animal, it was an Abyssal being, who had probably entered the world sometime after the incident.
Indar walked past the trees to find a small cave. The sound came from inside the cave. He took a deep breath and walked into the cave, seeing nothing in there at the beginning, but as his eyes adjusted he was it, a gigantic cobra. Indar wasn't scared just surprised, he knew this creature, this was the creature the Blackshields called their god. It was a friend of the family and seemed to remember Indar as it came up to him and poked Indar with it's big head. Indar realized, while petting the snake that this creature was also part of the Blackshield family, thus making Indar not the only one. Would you want to come with me, Naja? Indar had remembered the snakes name and wanted for it to come with him. To help Indar and also Naja wouldn't have to live alone in this village. Indar started to walk out of the cave, the snake followed him. This sealed it, Naja had now become Indars friend.
Month 10-12
During the few last months of the year Indar had been training together with Naja. They had been all around Fiore, never really stopping for more than a week. Indar had really started to care a lot for the big snake, well it was the last family member he had, so it was only logical. On the upside the snake seemed to be more friendly than Indar himself. And the snake would try to help Indar in every way possible. They had developed a very close bond.
After touring Fiore and training, Indar finally decided it was time to return to Sabertooth. He had been gone for a whole year and wanted to see some friendly faces again. Plus, if he ever would have an incident again, the magi there would probably be able to subdue him.
With that in mind Indar set off towards the guildhall of Sabertooth, with Naja following him closely.

Re: Timeskip Thread
Subject to change until evaluated officially:
Silent Night over the year will have completed the following objectives in order of priority:
Inspire War:
TL;DR: Silent Night has an elaborate plan involving fabricated evidence against the Magic Council and the King- mostly the Magic Council- involving the death of political leaders in neighboring countries to bring them to war with Fiore, or at least have them strike a blow against the monarchy and council.
Provoke Famine:
TL;DR: Clementine had destroyed the majority of Fiore's farmland, and poisoned the seas. Silent Night capitalized on this to also use the above scenario as motives, with added incentive, to push the neighboring countries to block trade with Fiore. Resulting in a major food crisis.
Using the food crisis, she is creating a rift between the poor and the wealthy and inspiring the idea of revolution among the poor.
Set in Place:
TL;DR: Silent Night learns Thought Projection, and uses it to multitask as a rising member of the Rune Knights under heavy disguise to her appearance and abilities. This allows me as the player to actually RP with other players without Silent Night having to kill them, erase their memories, or never actually interact with the others directly.
Kill an Angel:
TL;DR: Silent Night kills the Harbinger of Famine, Clementine, in a bloody meeting near the Fiore/Bosco border because Clementine posed a significant threat to the stability of her plans. Clementine is now in a broken down energy state powering an abandoned research facility serving as Silent Night's home base. She kept Clementine's pet as her own companion after fixing it's memories to be more... favorable.
Edit:
And yes, Bosco most assuredly does have nuclear power. Bosco is a tech nation that prides itself on technology. Their technology is more rustic and robust than modern technology, yet it surpasses it. They're a futuristic yet post apocalyptic sort of country capable of generating energy barriers that can encompass entire cities and the entire country. In the first image in the Bosco spoiler you can see what appears to be a nuclear battery strapped to the woman's back to power her equipment.
What's more:
http://en.ria.ru/science/20130603/181489613/US-Teen-Builds-Nuclear-Fusion-Reactor-in-Dads-Garage.html
If a teen can build a nuclear fusion reactor in his garage, hells yes an "Extremely advanced technological nation" can do so. It isn't just one teen either. The article says there are 15 others who have done so.
The technicalities of how they do so are irrelevant.
I would also point out that this doesn't influence my timeskip in any way, as Clementine was one way or another bound and used as the energy source: Thus making it nuclear power. Whether or not the "Nuclear Engine" was in fact a nuclear engine before hand, it become one as it is now using nuclear energy.
Silent Night over the year will have completed the following objectives in order of priority:
Inspire War:
- Spoiler:
- Planted fabricated evidence within the Magic Council building which implicates Count Sparrow and to a lesser extent several others on the Council in the murder of political leaders in the neighboring countries of Seven, Bosco, Minstrel, and Ca-elum. Evidence includes: Documents suggesting that the King of Fiore has had secret dealings with Sparrow, Evidence suggesting that the King has ordered Sparrow's memories erased, Eye witness accounts of Sparrow at the seen of the crimes, in a couple cases witnesses seeing the murder occur in person, with DNA of Sparrow discovered in Bosco- Bosco having analyzed it.
Manipulating the memories and personalities of key individuals, she has inspired agencies of the countries to investigate the murders zealously and inspire cooperation with the other agencies working on the cases. A similar team was working on it in Fiore, but Silent Night not only inspired them to action but also planned their deaths along with their assassin, who was apparently killed nearby after succumbing to his wounds. The assassin was traced to his residency where evidence suggested he was employed by "someone" on the Magic Council... The foreign agencies are locked up in red tape with the King trying to request entry into the kingdom to do their investigations. Spies, however, have already been issued.
During all this time, Silent Night would have also located and converted many members of the Magic Council/ Count Sparrow's network of spies and contacts as she worked. She may not have gotten them all, but it would be a significant blow with the intention of crippling or nearly crippling their networks in those countries at least to the point that it would be a very noticeable pain the ass to fix that may take years to recover from completely.
All this of course is done with the utmost care by Silent Night, leaving no evidence of herself. Silent Night is one of the most skilled assassin / thief in the entirety of Earthland if not the best. She employs no one and makes no witting contacts. She goes where she needs and converts people to her side whether they know it or not (They don't, that was a figure of speech).
- Spoiler:
- Related very much so the above. Silent Night has used the trouble caused by that to provoke officials of those countries to halt trade with Fiore, with a Ca-Elum blockade preventing Fiore merchant ships from leaving Fiore territory.
This has been done while fully aware of the movements of an entity that has destroyed farmlands around the country cutting food production down to a fourth of what it once was unless significant action is taken to boost food production. The Seas are not their friend either. As the months progress, the seas will be noticeably be becoming more and more sickly. Fish will be bearing mutations and be coming in smaller sizes, with those who eat the fish becoming ill to the point that eventually those who eat the fish near the latter few months often die.
The lack of trade cuts off Fiore from external suppliers, making them unable to import product from elsewhere. With few options, only the rich are getting food while the poor die off.
But not easily.
Manipulating the personalities and tweaking memories, Silent Night will have planted key individuals who will not stand for it. Burning with passion and love for those who are perishing, these individuals will inspire others to action forming factions who actively boycott the rich and raid their supplies to give to the poor. Resentment is growing quickly as the common folk learn to hate the nobles, royals, and councilmen. For their friends and families... they'd feel the need to do something as the food supplies get worse.
Silent Night will of course be actively encouraging that mindset. By working herself to expose or fabricate evidence against nobles she would actively make the upper class look like enemies to the commonfolk.
- Spoiler:
- Silent Night will have for the first month teach herself the art of Thought Projection. This is not a new magic but a singular ability of her rank to split herself into two individuals. This is similar to talents she is already capable of doing but to a more permanent degree. Using Thought Projection Silent Night would be capable of existing in two places at the same time created from her will and mastery over illusions and time to splice herself, just as can be seen in the anime. Using this Silent Night is capable of better enacting her goals, and would allow her to keep up certain facades.
Her primary incentive for Thought Projection is so that she is capable of a more personal task. Ingraining herself in the Rune Knights. She has already been doing so for a couple years now, but now in the middle of picking up her pace and enacting plans, she has found the need to be in more places at once... Silent Night has enlisted in the Rune Knights with the intention of being a special service agent leading into the Lightsworn. She will do so by masking her abilities and taking the appearance of a girl with pale white skin and black hair, with two vibrant deep blue eyes. Edgy and bold, she'd hide her true nature to rely on her martial skill and talent for natural stealth and detective work. With her natural prowess she'd be known for her keep intuition and ability to sniff out any crook and get into almost any criminal lair. Her team will know she is capable of teleporting, and seems to possess a special sight that helps her stay alert. These are the only tools she lets be known to those who work with her. She still uses her bow, but only ever uses the shortbow form and it appears to be black instead of green.
Going by the name Katelyne Terrance and being called "Edge" for her sharp personality and mind, she's the team's "edge" against evil. She would make herself invaluable, a perfect agent and to all appearances perfectly loyal. And she has been. This past year, in light of traumatic events such as the Acnologia incident, Edge has finally managed to land Division Head, and become the Head of Intelligence (Approved by Seijin). This is important to her plans as well as important for OOC reasons, that I might be able to socialize and interact with other players which I would be incapable of doing otherwise. Of all the other things, please take this into consideration. Otherwise I kind of wrote myself into a corner in which I wouldn't really be able to interact with others.
The Thought Projection would be pretty useful in combat, sure, but it's main intention is for the given reasons. It usually wont be near the other Silent Night. If it does happen, all it would really do is double her rate of fire. Her only method of attack is with her bow. She has no offensive spells. Meanwhile, any spell she does use is shared between both. So if one uses a spell, the other has it on cooldown as well in addition to the shared MP expense. HP is not shared, however. The thought projection if slain can't be conjured in the same topic again unless 24 hours have passed. If Edge is killed in duty though, it may also ruin her cover. The thought projection heals from damage normally as Silent Night does, and if deactivated and reactivated, it returns with the same health it had before. If Silent Night ever calls Edge to her, Edge will have to explain just where she got any wounds... In addition to being away from her usual routines. If someone is expecting Edge somewhere and she is missing, that could be problematic. Edge being a Rune Knight while Silent Night being an assassin, it's a perfectly legit possibility that they might run into each other on a case someday. That could be amusing. Though Projections can appear anywhere and absorb the other half. This is a clunky but faster method of travel than her already perfectly capable teleportation, but isn't very efficient for combative purposes as the thought projection fades rather than pops in, alerting people before it is capable of doing something. It's not all that potent, and it makes sense for Silent Night to be capable of this.
Edge's cover for this is a false family living in Clover Town, who she "fixed" to remember her growing up with them, her life there. She also fixed a couple friends of the family, even if there were no friends previously, and then fixed a noble man who now believes that Edge is the love of his life and he married her. This is years ago. With her solid citizenship secured and position locked in with this nobleman in her pocket, and pants regrettably, she had the background she needed. She then applied for the Rune Knights and has been serving diligently ever since her poor husband passed away...
- Spoiler:
- Silent Night will have in the past few months have slain Clementine, who was in opposition to her. She was a threat to Silent Night's methods and ideals and despite having done so much to make her own efforts possible, she was a loose cannon who she believed would go too far. The fight took place in the wasteland in Bosco, during which fight she suffered a hit to the back that severed her spine. In a Batman like show of recovery, she eventually recovered from this. Silent Night survived the hit, however, and using what might have been an obvious defeat she was able to get the opening she needed and put an end to her using an artifact she discovered in Bosco... a nuclear engine. Clementine and the energy that composes her is now broken down and is cycling through an engine to power an abandoned research facility residing underground near the border to Fiore, on the Bosco side. In killing Clementine, she has converted Clementine's pet to be her own. However, Silent Night was unable to utilize Clementine's armor or weapon, and the flute was useless to her. These are on display in the facility.
Silent Night uses this research facility as a base of sorts and has managed to secure it. Given the isolated cities of Bosco each in their own bubbles and the dangers of life outside those cities, the research facility is very cut off and long since used. Silent Night was able to sever landlines from the facility that once powered communications to the closest city a dozen miles away.
The facility is now completely cut off, very well hidden, and very well defended as it like all facilities in Bosco, was designed to withstand a blast from Etherion as a precautionary measure, as well as all the colossal godzilla-monsters that populate the barren landscape. The only way in is through the concealed four-stage airlock system and since being powered again, an energy field that prevents people from using any form of magic to enter or perceive what is within. Silent Night cannot use Jaunting to enter the facility directly, but is capable of jaunting between the first and second airlocks.
Security cameras are still functional, but the six automated turrets at the entrance and the twelve in the facility itself... are out of ammunition. Silent Night does not know how to power them. The airlock doors are of course, locked by bosco tech. It takes a key card to enter. Silent Night discovered the key card before she discovered the base itself, and was able to find the place after having acquired this card. The card was located in a private office of the department of research of the nearby city. Where she had gone as part of the first objective.

Re: Timeskip Thread
Alexander was filled with regret over his loss of control in what should have been a routine job. Instead he became demonically possessed and nearly got Marick killed and almost botched the job. Adromelech was getting a bigger foothold into his soul and was beginning to control him on a daily basis in a fit of epileptic seizures and extreme psychosis. At one point he even contemplated committing suicide to end the threat to his friends and allies. However it then occurred to him that he needed to leave Sabretooth for a short bit. He spent some time travelling across Fiore to get a reason to exist. A reason to keep on living and thus travelled alone. There was no hope for him at that time.
He tried everything, even attended church for a while and lived a life of selflessness. However no god was going to save him, he needed to solve the problem himself. At 6 months, he even did a little bit of vigilante jobs for free. Beating up bandits and some ne’er do wells to appease the demon’s penchant for destruction. It was never enough though, Adromelech wanted more and more. Alexander was losing his mind, until he found a demonologist that had a solution.
He had to focus the inner fire that once guided him through the fires of hell. This time not to forge a weapon, but to forge a shield for his own soul. For one month he toiled in a series of meditation, physical training and forging until he made a rosary that was used as a medium to seal Adromelech’s soul deep within himself. There was no more voices in his head telling him to do wanton acts of violence. No more seizures, Alexander was free for the time being. However deep within his soul, Adromelech lies waiting. It will take only one sign of weakness before he can emerge again. For now though he can breathe easy, but for how long?

Re: Timeskip Thread
Allright dear members of our community, first of all let me congratulate you guys on writing so many awesome stories. We had a great time reading through all of them, and we were happy to see some great character development. Even if reading through all of them meant that my social life went from ten to zero and lost the girl that i was dating to some ass called Craig who are now happily on a vacation in some sunny warm place while I am stuck here in there Netherlands were rain is the equivalent to spring it seems, not even to mention the fact that Kyll is so jacked up on coffee that she is hopping around like a frigging kangaroo...ahem... but we're getting off track.
Anyway, the staff have decided to reward each and everyone of you with an amount of exp equal to the jobs of your current rank. And a sufficient amount of money based on the length of your stories. So thanks again for all your input guys, and here are the rewards:
