Wedding Crashers (Cat and Mouse) Empty Wedding Crashers (Cat and Mouse)

Post by Julia Neviccare 14th January 2014, 4:49 am

Julia would finish reading the letter out loud to Khalisha who'd been teaching her how to read and write in the common language of Fiore since like, the day after they'd met. She was a bit illiterate and stammered on some of the bigger words, but she had all the prepositions and down pat. "Hope... to see you there. Sin...sear...ly.... Missus Goldstar" she would finish up with a bit of a hard time getting the accent correct. Julia would clap her hands at her finishing the letter, it was quite a challenge. Julia would pull her given outfit that had been provided to her out from the box and her eyes would light up like a summer's day.

    -Present-

Wedding Crashers (Cat and Mouse) 2n1fedy

Julia would show up with the most prideful expression on her face. Her eyes were closed a bit and she walked with a march with a satisfied grin etched across her face. Today was the day that the wedding was supposed to be, and while the delivery was just barely on time for them to make it, she would have had plenty of sleep on the train-ride there. Julia even managed to get the outfit on correctly, and looked incredibly adorable. The crowd that had gathered was practically consisted of the entire city of Rose Garden, and she would run over to look at the Cloud Sea. "Waow! Khalisha, look! Cloud Sea is beautiful!" she would say with her childish Iceberg accent poorly hidden due to excitement.

Smiling widely and clapping a bit as Julia finished reading, Khalisha let out a small meow before speaking up in adoration of the little girl's progress, "Wow!~ You're doing so good! That was great, Jules!" She had been listening to Julia read the letter out loud for her, nodding happily each time she got a more difficult word correct and occasionally correcting her when she mistook certain words for others, offering definitions of other words that she'd managed to read but didn't know what they meant. Then, as Julia pulled out her outfit Khalisha actually looked a little jealous, wondering what she'd be given to wear. "Oh~ Nice... You're gonna look even prettier all dressed up in that, and that's really saying something!" She said, digging her own outfit out of the box and smiling at it warmly. It would do nicely.

The Dress That Khalisha Will Be Wearing:

    -Now-

Walking next to Julia, Khalisha would be wearing her dress already just like the little girl. She was feeling extra playful today, so she marched happily alongside Julia, giggling occasionally. Along with her dress, Khalisha was wearing long, thigh-high white socks and a pair of gorgeous black heels, which would have made it much harder to walk were she not so cat-like. Still, she couldn't help but admire silently how absolutely precious the little girl looked in her outfit, and for most of the trip to the Cloud Sea she was either sleeping or staring at the girl in a half-jealous, half-proud way. She ran over along with Julia as the little girl suddenly peeled out in order to look over at the amazing sea. "Yeah, Jules~ It really is... But come on, let's go. We should get prepared for that loser of an ex that'll be coming this way.. I hope he doesn't actually show up, I'd like to just enjoy the wedding, but... You know how men can be. Or... Maybe you don't... Whatever" She said, turning away from the sea (though she still peeked over her shoulder a bit longer at it), and starting to head off into the crowd, wrapping her tail around Julia's wrist so she wouldn't get left behind.

Post by Julia Neviccare 14th January 2014, 5:51 am

Julia would giggle a bit as Khalisha would take her by the wrist using her cat tail. It was so interesting to see the many ways that a prehensile tail could be used, even if it wasn't strong. Julia would rather skip along merrily behind her, overhearing Khalisha saying something about the Bride's ex-boyfriend showing up. That would indeed be bad, but at the same time, it was what they were hired to deal with, "I guess you can say that Khalisha. But I raring to go!" Julia's attempt at a figure of speech was adorable, yet could have used some work in the end. Suddenly, Julia felt the pressure of more than a few eyes. A feeling she knew a bit too well, stares of contempt, she would keep walking for a while, knowing that the cronies and thugs wouldn't make their moves until the Ex-Boyfriend showed up. Julia would speak up, "12 in this sector." She would be keeping note, using terminology from when her mom was on team missions dragging Julia along. If there was anything that Julia was and could do, it would be a damn good guild mage. After a bit of time passed, she would feel the stares wear off. "We should be very careful, those guys serious business. Very dangerous," she would say in a matter of fact mission-doing spy-ish Iceberg tone. It wouldn't be too much longer until she would be standing there watching the altar scene, the Goldstars walking down the aisle.

Khalisha smiled back at Julia and gave her a thumbs-up, sticking her tongue out at the little girl as well. "Yeah, I know what you mean. I can't wait to lay the beat down on that jealous ex. I hate people like him!" She laughed to herself as she spoke, but then she felt the stares as well. She looked around quickly, hoping to spot some of the mob. She of course couldn't tell them apart from the crowd, which unsettled her, but since there was nothing to do about it she just kept on walking along with Julia.

"How do you know it's 12, Jules? Can you see them?" Khalisha asked, raising an eyebrow curiously at her little girl-friend. Then she realized how professional Julia sounded and had to stop for a moment to crouch down and pinch the little albino's cheeks lightly, wiggling her face and staring her in the eyes while doting over her, "Oh my god will you stop being so friggin cute for a few minutes!~ I can't stay serious with you being like that!~" She said jokingly, then stood up and resumed walking along, making sure to stay wary of sneak attacks, shifting her eyes back and forth over the crowd. She saw a few more thuggish looking people in fancy clothes shuffle around in the mess of people, some staring at the Goldstars and others staring directly at her. "Okay, yeah, you're right.. We should definitely be careful Jules. I think I see even more over there." She kept a straight face as she spoke, talking just loud enough for Julia to hear her. The thugs appeared to be trying to spread themselves out evenly through the crowd, waiting for an opportune time to strike.

Julia would overhear what Khalisha was saying, pertaining to the gentlemanly-dressed thugs that were spreading out around the area. She would giggle a little bit as a mischievous smile would arch over her face, in a sort of cat-esque fashion. She would suddenly have her already red eyes flourish a bit with what looked like a lava-like flowing energy. An invisible aura would begin to surround her, causing the natural flowers to wilt within a ten foot radius of her. Julia would see this and become saddened by the sight of it, but she knew she was going to need this. "If anyone objects to the union between these two, speak now or forever hold your peace!" spoke the pastor now. Julia would feel the bit of a presence standing behind her. Approximately three fellows standing behind her. "Wha-?" she would begin as she would turn her head around to see three hand to hand thugs... "Yeah, we dat cliché" ...and she would sidestep a fist, releasing herself from the grasp of the tail, and she would step low and generate a snowball, hearing the very much predicted, "I OBJECT!" And ho-lee cow, did this guy who showed up look like he was the wrong man. This guy, clad in a white coat with the poppedest collar you've ever seen from a purple shirt underneath, wearing a freaking pompadour like it was a cannon extending from atop his head, walked along the aisle snapping his fingers rythmically. It probably wouldn't have been that bad if his black, greasy pompadour wasn't completely contrasted by his straw-like blonde goatee. Julia would throw the snowball upwards to hit a thug in the face. Two of them would look as he stumbled back abit, only to turn angrily to view Julia with a small swarm of hovering snowballs forming around her, her grabbing one out of the air.

Khalisha lowered her head and sighed, shaking it at the same time as ducking under one of the hand-to-hand thugs' attacks, jumping away and glaring at them. She was severely disappointed in them for their cliche-ness, but she had to get room before she could transform and punish them. She heard a bellowing objection from someone who looked absolutely funky and out-of-sight. And by that she would have meant dorky as hell. She left Julia's side, making sure to get clear of her for the transformation she was about to do. "Oi! Make a hole!" She shouted at the crowd, and thankfully they were sheepish enough to just flinch away from her, making a large hole in the crowd for her. There, that should be enough room... Now, I should wait for Julia to be ready first, so I'll save the dragon for later.

Khalisha smiled to herself, looking deep within and pulling out the ancient power of her bloodline to bring forth the warrior. She transformed now into a massive, burly woman holding a gigantic two-handed claymore, her cat ears and tail still present, just bigger now. She let out a loud, blood-thirsty bellow and glared angrily at the thugs who had attacked Julia, steam coming out of her mouth as her eyes widened and shook with a crazy look. "Back off of tiny mouse, NOW!" She screamed at them, adopting a similar accent to Julia's as she spoke. This was due to the warrior's Icebergish origins, now showing itself in Khalisha. Before even waiting for them to actually back away, she took a massive swing at them and roared at the same time, her face full of rage that made her seem absolutely insane. (As a note, this would be the first time she's used any of her lineage forms in front of Julia, and she probably hasn't seen Julia's lineage power yet, either.) Thankfully for the thugs, they all listened to her and backed off, staring up at her in awe and a smidgen of fear. After a moment, however, they regained their composure and attempted to attack her again, and this time she simply put her huge sword in the way of their attacks, blocking their punches as if they were nothing at all.

Second Attack: Julia's broad swing at the three thugs
    Third Attack: Thugs counter-attack))

Post by Julia Neviccare 14th January 2014, 7:19 am

Julia would become astounded as a great warrior lady would charge through swinging a claymore declaring that she was her 'Mouse'. Only Khalisha referred to Julia as that up until that point, so Julia was immediately relieved. When she watched the gentlemen back up away from her, the blade flinging over her head. Over in the Aisle, the Ex-Boyfriend was done snapping his fingers as he would look over with some boredom and point his finger at the Warrior Lady raging through the crowd, and the other cronies and thugs would begin to make their moves inwards. Julia would take this opportunity to begin rapidly throwing snowballs at the thugs, which would prove a useful tactic as 6 out of the 12 hit their mark, knocking the Cronies out cold.

Suddenly, from behind, Julia would feel a fireball pass by her head, missing narrowly. As she would turn around a sudden wind blade and an icicle would appear out of nowhere, the wind blade cutting her in half at the waist as she caught the icicle in hand. Nobody would pay attention to the lack of blood as Julia would fall over. A close observer would notice though, that the bisected area where the blade had contacted was turned entirely into snow, and didn't bleed at all. Julia was a Snow Elemental, and could currently convert approximately a limb's worth of body into snow, allowing perfect function in a bisected state. The two halves would form together, and she would get up, the icicle now turned into a powdery white substance on the ground, but rising up a bit to Julia's will.

For just a moment, Khalisha panicked a bit when her ally was cut in half all of a sudden. Then, as she saw that Julia was actually okay, she decided to try and attack the mages who had tried to harm her. She swung her huge claymore in a winding circle, the blade singing through the air and narrowly missing the air mage, who skillfully dodged out of the way. The second mage, the one who launched the fireball, simply ducked the sword, and the third one in a row that she was attacking was a snow mage, who rose a massive pillar of ice in the way of her sword. The sword was incapable of getting all the way through the ice and hitting the mage, in the end, but Khalisha still managed to shatter the pillar, scattering the ice all over the area. The pillar itself was about 25 feet tall, so when it was scattered all over the area it left a good amount of ice behind for Julia to make use of. The snow mage thought he was so clever to block, rather than get out of the way, but Khalisha was overjoyed with this development, and easily blocked the mage's counter-attack (a small storm of miniature snowmen with dart-like heads). She didn't notice the fire mage launching his small dragon-like fire spell at her, but it had missed entirely anyway, so she thankfully didn't have to worry about that. Then, the wind mage attempted to bisect her as well, with his annoying little air blade, which Khalisha batted away with her claymore as if it hadn't even been there in the first place. Khalisha hadn't accomplished much in this instance of combat, but she had set Julia up to have quite a bit more fun. "Oh no! Julia, the snow mage here has blocked my attack, and scattered ice all over the field in the process! What ever will we do!?" She shouted, laughing jovially afterwards and preparing to defend again while watching her enemies for openings. She could only stay in this form a little longer, and then she'd switch to the defensive and guard Julia. After that, it was dragon time, and that should end this all fairly quickly, she thought.

Julia would watch Khalisha swing her sword, once more to no avail. Though the circumstances somehow were in her favor, as ice shards would fall to the ground. Julia would sweep the powered snow down to cover the ice shards, as they would begin to be broken down into more snow for her use. Julia would grin a bit, and wave her hands as she would jump into the air, over a series of spells which were cast her way, and she would land atop a cloud made of snow, pooled from the powder snow she made a bit ago. All the ice shards were now in use as a personal chariot Julia crafted for herself. "Great job Khalisha-chan! I can deal much more damage using ice mage's failure," she would say. The ice mage would shake a fist up at her, before Julia would punch the cloud and begin to shoot a small machine-gun of snowballs from the bottom of it, freeforming snow magic was a key aspect of combat with snow magic. The mages would all begin to frantically run around before she pelted them a couple times with the snowballs. The fire mage would whip up a shield made of fire, melting the snowballs as they rained down, minimizing their injuries. Julia would grunt a bit before she would begin to form another snow ball, preparing to attack once more. Her eyes would flourish a bit brighter, signalling that she had gathered what was actually a lot of power.

Khalisha chuckled again as she heard Julia's statement, liking the idea of using the blunders of these mages against them in such a way. She dodged out of the way of the rain of snowballs, and at the same time managed to evade yet another fire dragon, which was soon re-purposed into a shield of flame to block the same snowballs Khalisha had just gotten out of the way of. Khalisha took a moment to be proud of herself for this quaint little maneuver, but unfortunately that caused her none too small of a problem. She was suddenly blasted with the Ice wizard's magic, being hit by a shockwave of snow that filled the area, chilling Khalisha to the bone and causing her to take damage of the not-so-small portions. "Gahh! Dammit! Stupid mages! That hurt!" She said, getting up and quickly batting away yet another wind blade that had been launched at her. She saw some cronies creeping in, but she knew she had to try and take care of the mages first, as they would prove to be the most troublesome. She took a moment to look through her deck, flinging a card out at random in an attempt to strike the mages. No dice, however, so she just went on searching for the cards she wanted. At last, she found them; The cards 'wave' and 'sleep'. Combining them quickly, she suddenly fired out a 25-foot radius wave all around her of sleep gas, which would make all enemies in the area drowsy. Thankfully, none of them had managed to defend against this maneuver, but that didn't stop them from being able to dodge her next card throw, and her berserker form was gone now.

It was time to get defensive, so Khalisha took up the form of the guardian, becoming a bit smaller and even stockier. On top of this, she suddenly lost her sword and spawned a magnificent Adamantium tower shield, which would be able to block up to three A-rank damages total. This meant she was safe for a while. The shield itself curved around her a bit, making it so that it would be able to block any attack coming from head on, and hopefully the mages would be foolish enough to try a head-on approach, so she wouldn't even have to try and block. She stood out in the open, shouting up to Julia, "Hey, if you need any blocking just go ahead and jump behind me, I can take any hit these fools dish out!" Khalisha grinned as she spoke this, hoping it would also manage to antagonize the ex-boyfriend into trying to attack, which would lure him into the field she had managed to clear for their fight.

Julia would watch as the wave of sleep gas caused the large sum of mages and thugs to begin to rapidly shrink. Astoundingly, that was incredibly effective, and Julia would grin and even giggle a bit. He eyes now had a glow about them that was particularly noticeable. Julia would begin to fly over the heads of the thugs and mages that acted as the Ex-Boyfriend's bodyguards, and punched the snow cloud once again. She would rain down snowballs, yet was stopped yet again by another Fire Magic Shield and missed just about every other shot anyways. "Darn," she would say with a childish growl of sorts. With that, Julia would fly away from the shelling zone as a wave of Ice, Wind, and Fire magics would fling towards her. She would note how violent they were getting about it, meaning that she must have been striking a nerve of some sort. Suddenly a Wave of force would slam into her cloud, causing it to slow down a bit before picking the speed back up. "Wow, the angry ex violent today is he not?" she would say, throwing a snowball at him. The snowball would dissipate before it made contact with him, and that was a troublesome sight to behold. "Angry ex, has some power, does he not?" she would correct herself. Another wave of wave magic would fling her way and she would ride the cloud up and out of the way. "Careful Khalisha! The ex cancels out magic!" she would call out to Khalisha.

Hearing that the ex could somehow negate magic, Khalisha got an idea to attack him physically with one of her cards. Thankfully, she wasn't limited by her defensive stance to the point where she couldn't throw cards, so she threw a few out there. The first was easily blocked, knocked aside by a wave blast, but the second (which was following swiftly in the first's wake) connected solidly with the fellow's forehead. It did very little damage to him, but it was something, thankfully. OF course, her third card was yet again slapped aside as if it were nothing at all, but she was hardly bothered by that. What was really on her mind at the moment was the silly mages trying to hit her, their spells being deflected easily off the adamantium shield she had in front of her. She was so focused on it, in fact, that she didn't even notice the hand-to-hand fighter sneaking up behind her, and she took a sharp, painful elbow to the back. She stumbled forward, cursing slightly under her breathe. At this rate, she'd be more than a little sore in the morning, but she thought she could take a couple more hits. Hopefully this would be over by then. "Dammit! One of'm got up behind me!" She said, whimpering a bit as the guy pushed his elbow in a bit more before pulling away. Two good things had happened though; first, the crowd had stirred quite a bit, preventing any forward movement from the wave mage without him needing to waste his energy more, and also preventing any movement from the rest of his posse. The second thing that was good about the moment, was that the 4 mages and fighters had fallen for Khalisha's sleepy-time trickery. They all slowly dozed off, taking sweet little naps for the next few moments of combat. This all combined gave Khalisha and Julia a little bit of time to breathe, but not much. "So what's the plan, Jules? I can use my power to transform into a dragon and do some serious damage, but you gotta back me up with just as much if we're gonna end this. I can't keep up like this very long. I got maybe 2, 3 more solid hits in me, and I'm probably out for the count." Khalisha said, in reference to her current damaged state. She may have even been over-shooting on how much more she could take, to be honest.

Wedding Crashers (Cat and Mouse) Empty Re: Wedding Crashers (Cat and Mouse)

Post by Julia Neviccare 16th January 2014, 3:20 pm

Julia would stand back to back with Khalisha now, having hopped off her cloud to prevent further attack from hitting her. She would listen very carefully to the words that were spoken to her, and would break her serious face of concentration to marvel, "Waow! You can be dragon?" Julia was astounded by the knowledge and would stand for a moment with a totally frazzled expression on her face. She would shake her head a bit to regain her composure, and turn around for a moment, "I think I have plan, but it pretty bold." She would say with her eyes reaching a point in their glow that appeared to be shining like a lava lamp. Particles of odd fluid globules of magic appeared to be in her eyes. Julia would say one more thing before she would move along, "Alright, cover me, cover you, and get ready to dragon." She would then turn around Khalisha and generate snowballs in her hands as she would jump upwards and throw the snowballs downwards upon the mages, she would avoid a wave of magic by twisting in mid air, and narrowly dodged the last one, the fireball.

She would land on her powder snow which she would form into a rail of sorts as she would slide along with haste, she would generate two more snow balls as she would slide on past the mages, throwing one right into the fire mage's face, knocking him prone, and just narrowly missing the wind mage she would then ramp upwards, and reached her hands into the sky, her Snow Cloud changing shape. "Clear out everyone~ It is Sno-Man Bomb!" she would declare aloud as the cloud would take the form of a snowman about the size of Julia herself and floated over head. Julia's eyes would flash brightly for a moment, and she would erupt with a massive sum of magical power being released at one time, using the power of her lineage to boost the power of her spell, "Sno-Man Alpha... Beta... Gamma.... Delta... OMEGA!!!" Each time she would say a new greek letter the snowman would grow 3 feet bigger until she held over her head what was probably the most intimidating snow man anyone had ever held on to, complete with carrot devil horns and a grin made of jaggedly arranged black stones. Civilians would run away in a frantic hurry, and the mages and thugs would all gather near the ex-boyfriend, who would watch in a panic as he would wave his hand upwards to attack with, but to no avail as Julia had already thrown the Sno-Man Bomb. It would land on the crowd dealing B-Rank+C-Rank+D-Rank damage, and blew up in a whirling blizzard of B-Rank+C-Rank damage that expanded so far some people would be thrown the rest of the way out of the range despite having a quite a few seconds to sprint for their lives. The ex-boyfriend's wave magic was of no use defending against this attack, and this resulted in his men and himself being decimated.

After the blizzard finished raging, leaving a pool of snow so large it was hurtful, the Ex-Boyfriend would pull himself out from the snow pile and stand up atop the snow, angrily, and slowly trudging towards Julia, who would would stand a bit over a decameter away from him, not even looking particularly tired.

Khalisha was a bit entertained by Julia's reaction, so she allowed for a brief pause to smile at the darling little one. "Yes, I can be great big dragon! But only for a short time." Then it was time to be serious again. She had the area on lock-down, but something needed to happen, soon. She was out of time for her guardian form, and the crowd was starting to clear out, allowing the goons and their leader freedom to close in. That was about when Julia said she had a plan. "Right, I'll cover you sweetheart." Khalisha hunkered down, watching the battlefield closely for signs of someone coming in to attack Julia. Thankfully, Julia seemed to have defense completely under control, so all she had to worry about was laying down a bit of covering fire. She spotted a couple of mages that looked like they were about to attack, or something, and threw a card at each of them. The first missed it's mark, but distracted the mage long enough to make him miss Julia entirely, without her even needing to try and dodge, and the second was blocked by the spell that the second mage had been charging up; a simple gust of wind blades that looked particularly painful.

Then, Khalisha ran forward and grabbed Julia, holding her close and putting up her adamantium shield to protect her and the little girl from the explosion of the 'sno-man bomb' that she had thrown. Once the blast cleared, it appeared it wouldn't have even hurt the two female mages anyway, but she was still glad she had reacted in time, just in case. Then, the shield simply faded away, out of time. "Looks like my guardian form ran out. That means it's time for Dragon form.." Khalisha said, thinking out loud as she stood up straight, letting go of Julia. She stretched out for a moment, first, and took a few steps back, gesturing for the angry ex to give her his best shot. One of those cocky 'come at me' waves you see in kung-fu movies. "You're mine now, little boy. My partner here can finish you off when I'm done having some fun." She teased, giggling a bit after.

The guy roared angrily at her and launched a spike of wave magic in her direction, which she side stepped, scales starting to grow on her skin. Next, he tried to hit her with some weird 'lift' attack, which she did a back flip to avoid, just barely. Now there were wings sprouting from Khalisha's back, and her cat ears looked significantly more like horns. Finally, the guy simply ran up and tried to punch Julia, deciding that Khalisha wasn't worth his time. That was probably one of his last mistakes, though, as Khalisha finished transforming into a dragon rather... explosively. She burst outwards, growing to the size of one of the mythical beasts and stopping the guy's punch with one of her wings rather passively. Without letting a second longer pass, she flung him backwards with her wing and launched a massive dragon roar at him, solidly hitting him despite his feeble attempt at blocking it with wave magic for B-rank damage. Khalisha retracted her new wings, glaring at the man and roaring again, but this time just for sound, no magical effect. "That should teach you to mess with my Julia!"

Guardian form used up; cannot be used anymore in this thread.

    Dragon form at 1 post.

Khalisha only earned 4 hardcore points, but got one more for effort, putting her at 5.
