Khalisha sighed slightly as she was led to Quanny village by the old man who had somehow convinced her and her partner -- who had been minding their own business up until he randomly shambled up to them and immediately started pleading with them to help him with something -- to follow him. She glanced over at Diavolo and rose one eyebrow at him , speaking in an exhasperated tone, "Hey, do we really gotta do this, Dia-Di?" She asked, having taken to calling Diavolo this earlier on, when they had first met up to go on a mission together. "I mean, I know the old guy needs help, but... I dunno, it just doesn't sound like it's gonna be any fun at all, does it?"
The three, Diavolo, Khalisha, and the old man, had been walking for a few hours now, and Khalisha was quite frankly getting sick of it. The mission didn't sound all that exciting, her feet hurt, she was hungry, and she was bored. Still, she stood tall the entire time, walking gracefully along like a modle on a runway, as if it was just natural for her to do so (which, actually, it was). Her tail swayed slowly behing her, and she let out a light yawn from the boredom of walking so much, wondering when they'd finally arrive at the village that had apparently been attacked by some low-life thugs. She wondered, for a bit, what they could even want with the ancient ruins. Did they think there was some sort of awesome treasure inside, or were they just being destructive for destruction's sake? In the end, she realized she didn't really care, and just wanted this all to be over with. Looking at the old man, now, she spoke up once more, "Hey, graaand-pa?~ When will we be there, huh?~ Huh?~" She asked, speaking in the sweetest, most innocent tone she could manage, not wanting the old man to think she was rude or annoying; or, at least she wanted to distract him from such thoughts, in case she was being such.
"Hold on ta yer skirt, there, pussy-cat! We'll get there when we get there!" The old man said, laughing cheerily after allowing for an awkwardly long pause. Apparently he thought something was fantastically funny, because he didn't seem to plan on ceasing this laughter any time soon, and it just caused Khalisha to curl up her bottom lip and lower her ears a bit, feeling as if she'd been made into a joke somehow. She was confused, though, and looked back over at Diavolo for confirmation on what just happened, just staring at him with a sort of dumbfounded and pouty look on her face, as if to ask, "What's so funny? Did I miss something? I think I should be offended, but I don't get it..."
Soon after that, the old man let out a caw as he saw his village emerge from the trees they had been walking through up until then. He ran off ahead, into the village, shouting something or other about having brought help, and Khalisha just stood at the edge of the woods, putting her hands on her hips and resting all of her weight onto one leg, having managed to regain her composure after the old man's dazing laughter. She smiled at Diavolo now, giggling a bit and closing her eyes as she pushed her chest out into the open, apparently done complaining now that they had arrived, as well. She took a deep breathe, stretching her legs for a bit by crouching low to the ground and sticking them out to the side one at a time. "Whatever, that old man didn't get to me. We might as well just get this over with, huh, Dia-Di?" She asked, standing up again and slapping herself on the rear with both hands, then on the fronts of her thighs, as if dusting her self off and getting ready for a fight.
((OOC: Wow.. So, I'm really sorry if this was absolutely terrible, but I was really out of it when I typed this up; However I didn't want to delay it any longer. I'll do better on my next post!))
