What Grace?(Solo Mission: Sinali)

There were eight remaining tomatoes. This was the fastest she'd dealt with the tomato demons before, but unfortunately she did not have her boomerang to deal with them in such a manner. It would take time before she could deal with them in that matter again. Still though, she could deal with them. One hit her with a blast of juice, but whilst in the air she was just knocked about a bit. It wasn't as strong as the corns. The next blast she deflected with a wing buffet, but it didn't hit any tomatoes. However, the next two were successful. She hit two of them with their own juice doing heavy damage.

She flew down at them, but was forced to divert the path of her first attack due to a vine that was sent at her. However, this just meant she diverted her attack and flew straight through one of the damaged tomatoes. "Seven." she whispered and then turned to another and flew at it. Her initial punch was blocked by a vine, but she caught the vine and flew upwards using all her wing strength and then dropped it. "Six" She'd thinned their numbers heavily. Now it was a lot more even. However, she was forced to land as her wings had run out. Fighting now would be a lot harder. She couldn't move as swiftly with her damaged leg. Still, she could strike without moving.

The tomatoes were once again using their juice against her. They were coming at her from different angles, but with the shovel, which was by her feet. She blocked three of their shots with her high level of skill. One of the shots however did miss her and hit another of the tomatoes doing high damage to it. Now she could finish them off. She dropped the shovel and grabbed a bit of corn and threw it at the damaged tomato. Unfortunately, it blocked. The second she threw missed entirely but the third hit doing some damage. It was enough to finish this enemy off. "Five".

Amazingly though her next shot was hit back at her by one of the vines hitting her in the head. She blinked in surprise momentarily taken off guard as a large cartoon-style lump began to raise on her head. Still she'd taken another one down. Now all she had to do was take down the other five. Unfortunately, these ones didn't seem as chatty and so were boring. Plus they hadn't turned on the one that hit. It was annoying, but not everyone was as loyal. They were probably too scared and too intent on trying to take her down.

Sinali was getting annoyed and bored now. Her body was damaged quite badly and yet still enemies remained. Five of them in fact. She lunged forward suddenly as fast as her broken leg could carry her and tried to strike twice, but missed. Her third strike was blocked entirely, but her fourth was succesful and did minor damage to one of the demons. By her previous experience it seemed two of her punches or other physical attacks were enough to deal with these. So it seemed this one needed one more shot.

However, it seemed this opponent wasn't going to go down without a fight as whilst one of the tomatoes missed its juice blast and two she weaved between this one hit her sending her rolling back covering her in the sticky juice once more. Seriously, if it had been white people would of got a totally wrong impression about what she'd been up to. Of course, she wouldn't know that. She was only eight after all, or physically and mentally anyway.

Sinali was fed up of these juice blasts by now. She'd just shook herself free of one and bam the enemies were firing more blasts at her. She dove out of the way avoiding all four blasts and scooped up a few bits of corn. The first she threw and missed entirely sending it flying down the field. Perhaps it would grow into something cool. The second was also a miss. This one she sort of tripped as she threw and so it arced above and landed directly behind one of the tomatoes. The shock though was enough for her to get in close and whilst her first punch against the weakened tomato was blocked the second was not and so the tomato fell. Her hand was covered in red once more, but this time it was the red of death rather than the juice blasts from these enemies. It was much more satisfying.

"Four." she whispered as she licked her hand clean. The tomatoes were shuddering now. They were clearly frightened, but they felt if they were going to go down they would go down fighting like true fruit demons. It was quite an entertaining thought that tomatoes were going to try and die bravely rather than flee like cowards.

A feeling in her gut let her know that she was able to use her most powerful attack once more. It was time to bust out the bone blade boomerang and really cut down these vile demonic creatures. She reached into her rib cage and pulled out the rib once more and reshaped it using her magic to form the deadly boomerang. With a swift throw she tossed it and it was accurate slicing one in two. "Three" Sadly, it didn't hit anything on the return, but soon it was back in her hand ready to be used again. She sensed that they were about to use the tomato blasts again so moved in between them.  It was fortunate as she was able to trick one of them into blasting its own ally.

Rather than targeting this weakened one she threw the boomerang at another and sucessfully sliced it in two. Unfortunately, it didn't, as she had hoped, slice into either of the remaining two on the rebound. It was a same as even if it had grazed the weakened one it likely would of ended it there and then. "Two" and that was the number that remained. Fortunately, for her anyway, her boomerang had a decent duration. She felt certain this would be over soon.

Sinali: Two succesful hits(kills all enemies), two blocks
Enemy: One miss, one block

The two in their fear, as with previous ones, seemed to lose the ability of offensive accuracy. The first blast of tomato juice missed her entirely. The second blast was blocked by the rib bone boomerang she wielding. It had been stained with juice before the blast, but now it was stained red completely. She stared at it for a moment. Would it be permanently stained red? Not that it mattered of course.

She threw it once and the tomato dodged out of the way, but was caught on the rebound killing it instantly. "One." she said as she caught the boomerang and threw it once more. Once more it missed on the initial shot, but killed it on the come back. As this final demon fell the crops all seemed to return to normal. The curse had apparently been lifted this time. "Beati Mortui." The last enemy was dead, the curse was lifted and now she could go get her reward and get healed up. She smiled and put the rib back in place then began to hobble off. Her body was stained with blood, she had broken bones and she looked even more dirty and ragged than usual, but she had been successful.
