As Frederick stood on the wall of debris, he looked over the strong water current. Ravaging everything in it's path. If this would continue it would break through the walls that the villagers had put up against it. And when it did it would take down the town as easy as Frederick would crumble a piece of paper.
Actually Frederick didn't even cared if this people lived or died, either way was fine with him. So saving them wouldn't give him any satisfactory, nor would he do it for the fame he would get. No to them he would the stranger that had saved their town. But the truth was that saving this town was only a prerequisite for the job.
'Well let's get to it then.'

Frederick aimed on of his arm towards the sky above the canyon, with the palm of his hand faced towards it. And while he did the dark aura around him started to blacken, and the pressure of his magic was to be felt all around town. But it was not evil or vile, it was just the power of raw magical strength. That made the air feel like something heavy that was weighing down on you.

While that was happening a gigantic black pentacle had appeared high above the left side of the canyons entrance. It was an ominous presence even among the strong and rough water that had already taken so much. And it made the flood almost feel like something insignificant.

    "DARK VOID EXALTED!!'

Frederick's voice shouted over the rumbling sound of the water and echoed into the canyon itself. And from out the pentacle a huge pillar of black light was shot down, and came down with a trembling and deafening sound. And for a mere moment a white light made everything disappear.

Three opponent's. One of them a large cat, the other two fast moving monkey creatures. Speed was not her game. She was more about strength. Perhaps though she could catch them off guard. No-one appeared to be around anymore. So it seemed it was just her and the beasts. It was time to cut loose a little. She lunged forward at one of the monkey's swinging her fist as powerfully as she could, but it leapt over it and tried to kick her in the back. Fortunately, she was fast enough to throw herself on the floor. This also allowed her to avoid the cat who leapt at her trying to bite her. As she fell to the floor she'd spun so she landed on her back thus allowing her to punch upwards at the cat, but she narrowly missed.

She leapt up with a rock in hand and out of annoyance more than any real purpose threw it at the monkey. The monkey, who had been jumping about madly, was caught off guard by the rock and it was thrown hard enough to crush its skull. One opponent down, two to go. "Poor Mr. Monkey. Seems like he couldn't play catch very well. His daddy should of taught it better" She hefted another rock in her other hand. "How about you Mr. Monkey? Can you play catch?" she tossed the rock from hand to hand. This was mostly done for fun rather than any purpose, but it would make it harder for the monkey to know which hand would throw it and when.

Her eye, which had been almost closed, was now half open. A red pattern could be seen on the eye, but it was not yet discernible. The more the guy opened the more serious she was becoming. It was a strange side effect, but it was true. What's more the more serious she became the crueler she became and with her child-like mannerisms her creepiness level just increased all the more.

As the light and the trembling sound faded away in the distance, it revealed a terrifying sight. The true power that resided inside Frederick. The canyon entrance that laid before him was now greatly misshapen, as the right side was missing a huge part.
His attack had created a hug gap that lead to a lower part. And as water always searched for the easies way down it immediately followed it, and thus saving the town from a death sentence.

But while Frederick was observing the power of his magic he was being met by the villagers that came cheering to his position. Something that Frederick wasn't so fond of, but it seemed that the villagers didn't really took no for an answer as they immediately started talking about a feast in his honor.

He climbed down from the wall, and immediately felt that the current in the water had decreased, making it much easier to move around in it.
'Now, there is a time for celebration and that is not now. There is still a lot of work to be done, and also the culprit is still walking around freely. So before we can ave our feast I need you to get yourselves organized again, and get some rest.'

Frederick's usual voice had been traded in for a more sympathetic one, as if he actual cared about these people. But these people were to excited to notice that this was just merely a mask he had put on in order to fool them. So that he looked like an actual benefactor. This would gave him some time to actual to find his guild member and see how well see fared. After all, she was the one going after the culprit.

The two beasts appeared, despite their fear of the situation and fear of her, to be co-ordinating. They lunged at her in a pair, one from each side, but she leapt upwards using her impressive leg strength. The timing was perfect and the two beasts collided doing heavy damage to eachother. "Now now Mr. Puddy Cat. I wasn't forgetting you. No need to get jealous because I was playing catch with Mr. Monkey." she said as she landed on its back. "In fact, for being jealous its bed time for you. Night night." With that she slammed the rock into its skull causing it to cave in. "Now, Mr Monkey. Can you play catch or not?"

She hefted the rock in one hand and then threw it. Much to her surprise the monkey did manage to catch it and she clapped gleefully. This was going to be more fun than she thought. "Yay. Mr. Monkey wants to play catch with me." she said and then with her abnormal herculean strength she picked up the cat by the tail. She began to spin it round over her head spraying the walls and tinting the water red with blood. It was a strange sight to anyone who might be watching. A young girl twirling a large panther-like creature above her head one handed. A young girl who didn't look capable of lifting anything even half as heavy. "Mr. Puddy Cat is sleeping so make sure you catch him. The water will wake him up."

It turned out she WAS being watched. A young man with long grey hair was watching her very closely. He had a pack on his back and had a few explosive marks on his body. It was as if this was his first real job using the explosives and before he'd been practising. He was watching her carefully. Just who was this little girl? She had to be one of the mages hunting him for his part in the flood. He'd been watching her for a while. He had seen her take down the first monkey and the cat. He hadn't seen the other two, which was fortunate. However, he noted her body looked a bit bloody and weary. Soon he could make his move. Once she was exhausted from fighting the animals.

As Frederick took off from the square and let the towns people get back to their usual business, he kept his eye out for anything out of the ordinary. Anything that could point in the direction of Sinali. Well what he was looking for was rather specific, for the small girl was known throughout the guild as a cruel girl. And maybe one of the grossest people around.
And if left unattended she could easily go on a rampage in a small village and devourer every single living being in it. May it be a cat or a baby, nothing was safe.

So the thing that Frederick was looking out for would be something like guts, pieces of a body. Or an entire dead body but then heavily mutilated.

Apparently Frederick assumptions were right, as he wandered higher up into the village he would suddenly took notice of a dead body of an animal. As walked up closer to investigate he saw that it was another Nightingale Cat. Only it's body was oddly shaped, as if something broke.
    'Guess she is near'
He said to himself while he scanned the area for any possible locations she may be. His eye quickly fell onto the entrance of a back alley. It was perfect and just the very thing that little girl would use. Acting like an innocent scared little child and luring any enemy into a false sense of security, right before she would release her twisted needs for gore onto them.

He decided to take a look in a more observing matter, after all this were her time to shine and he found that there was no reason for him to meddle in her affairs. So he vanished into a sudden dark mist, only to reappear onto the roof of one of the buildings that was aligned with the back alley.
Once again he assumptions were right,e girl he was looking for Sinali, was fighting in a gruesome way with two wild creatures.

With a huge amount of strength and accuracy she tossed the  dead nightingale cat at the orion monkey. Without even pausing she lifted up the other orion monkey and tossed that as well. Though this was thrown more like a shotput. Hammerthrow the cat, shotput the monkey. Now all she needed was a javelin. Shame. It was almost a perfect olympic event if with dead animals rather than metallic objects. It seemed though that the monkey wasn't as happy to play catch as Sinali thought.

It let out a screech as it dodged past the cat, whom it didn't care about, and caught the monkey. It lunged forward with high speed and tried to strike at her, but she caught its fist. As it was about to strike at the other it seemed to freeze and looked about wildly before tearing its hand from hers and bolting as if the very devil was chasing it. It had sensed the arrival of the powerful dark mage Frederik. One mage was enough for it to deal with and this one felt much stronger. Animal instinct urged it to run so it did.

Sinali sighed and fell down to her knees. She didn't need to sleep. She wasn't tired at all. However, it was a good act if anyone was watching. The man who had been watching grinned. He was unsure why the monkey had run off, but he didn't care. The girl looked exhausted and so he crept up silently behind her. Or he thought he was silent, but Sinali heard him make the water splash a bit. He grabbed her from behind and hefted her up. She was very light. Even lighter then she'd expected. However, he had made the big mistake she'd been hoping for.

"Mister...why are you grabbing me like that?" she asked quietly. She had to confirm that this was the targer.

"Because you missy are a mage hunting me down so now I'm going to break your neck and get out of this hellhole. Capiche?" Sinali smiled, though the man couldn't see it at first. He did however see it when her head twisted right round almost instantly and she lashed out with her teeth biting into the rich, juicy flesh of his neck. The intense pain was enough to make the man let go, but she quickly twisted her body round and grabbed him before pushing off tearing out a huge chunk of her throat as she did so. He would soon bleed to death and there was no-one nearby to help him. Everything had gone well.

"Goodnight mister." she said after chewing the meat of his neck and swallowing. There was no need for bad table manners after all.

Frederick watched as Sinali lured the their target in, and at the moment he thought he had the girl in his grasp he had to pay to price. Before the man could even realize what was happening he already laid on the ground, bleeding out the huge gap in his throat.
And standing over him was the small girl who did all that, still chewing on the meat of her victim.

She had done well, and portrayed an excellent way on how she used her skills. The job was finished and it was time to wrap this up. So Frederick made his way down towards the entrance of the alley and approached the dead body.
'You have done well Sinali, quite impressive really.'

Frederick pulled out a dagger from under his cloak, and grabbed the head of the dead man's body. Which he lifted some inches off the ground. Just high enough so that he could cut it off from the remaining lingering flesh that still connected it with the body.
And with a few rough cuts he separated it. And as he held it in front of him he focussed his attention on Sinali again.
'He wasn't much to deal with was he.. anyway we got what we wanted. Apprehended the target and dealt with the flood. Which was already more then enough then we actually should do. But it is a well enough cover for us.'

He pulled out a leather bag and put the head in there, it was a thick enough fabric that would avoid the red liquid known as blood from leaking through it. After he sealed it up, he tossed it over at Sinali for her to catch it.
'Here, I figure you would like to hold on to that, and show it to our client. After all you have been the one who apprehended the man.... Now then shall we go?'

As Frederick turned around his cloak would wave around, as he walked away from this scene. Ready for the next gruesome thing that would come on his path.
