Name: Julia Neviccare (Ju-lee-uh Neh-vee-char-eh)
Gender: Female
Age: 9
Birthday: 12/25
Sexuality: Too Young (Boys have cooties tho)
Special Characteristics: Julia has frostbite scars down her left arm, mostly focused towards the shoulder. Nobody would know that, she wears a thick coat most of the time.
Personality: Julia is one of those completely optimistic people who will look at the best outcome and strive endlessly towards it. Her main outlook on life is that nothing will get worse if you don't let it. Heck, even throughout her entire life, hellish as it may have been, she wouldn't ever give up on anything. Literally, to destroy her level of optimism, one would have to destroy every last microgram of hope, as she is the most crafty in any situation. Most people would discredit a little girl like herself, believe her to be lesser than they. It's fair, she understands that the limits of her magic make her inferior to the adults in the world. Well, her world at least. For some reason she can't get over the fact that she is physically superior to normal folks. It's probably because all her life she'd been stepped on. Julia is incredibly cheery, some folks believe it's impossible for her to be so cheery, even for a kid. Literally, nothing can make her genuinely frown anymore except a very specific few things. Her outlook on life is so bright, some might accuse her of being raised in a cult or something. This natural mistrust for a person who is so happy is only half misfounded, as Julia is only optimistic for the sole reason that she had seen the true face of hopelessness and despair, and escaped it anyways. The only reason to mistrust her is that she doesn't tell anyone why she'd be so happy, always claiming stuff like, 'Secret~'.
When combat draws her in, Julia's first thoughts are of the possible ways she could avoid it, given the battle is supposed to be avoided or otherwise wasn't supposed to happen. Her second thoughts are placed in determining what the opponent's style of combat is. If she can determine this, she will proceed to try and pick logical holes in the style, and see if she can best it with her magic. As a complete optimist, she doesn't usually come up with multiple plans at once, she's a very head-on combatant. Heck, one could compare her style of combat to Natsu, only thinking two steps ahead at best. In the case she is forced into a 'hopeless situation' she becomes something of a true optimist, and begins looking for every probable outcome of every situation she could throw herself at. One trying to read her mind would have their mind ears almost blown out with stuff that sounds like reading computer code read on fast forward. Julia then will decide the best course of action, and branch a multitude of plans from that. Literally, it would be difficult for an adult to comprehend how she is thinking when time's are hopeless. Always viewing the best possible outcome becomes a very key method of combat for Julia when the going get's rough.
Likes:
+Everything Light: Julia is a fan of the daytime, the moon and stars, the shining of powerful magic, the embers of a campfire. She also loves things that are figuratively light, like legal guilds, rune knights, the light in a happy person's eye.
+Work: Julia is strangely attracted to work over play for someone her age. She prefers to go an assist with and perform Jobs of her own volition.
+Making Big Displays: Julia uses her magic to perform grandiose feats. As such, she may often make a showier spell just because it is cooler that way.
Dislikes:
-Hopelessness: A thing that makes her frown. Genuinely. If absolute hopelessness sets in, she will realize it, and do everything in her power to break free of it.
-Despair/Mourning: When other people despair or mourn, she will frown genuinely. This is of course out of sympathy, as well as her youthful empathy.
-Milk Chocolate: She somehow doesn't like the taste of specifically milk chocolate. Any other chocolate is good.
Motivations:
+Become The Best: She wants to grow up to be the strongest mage. A very stock mage thought.
+Destroy All Hopelessness in the World: She wants to make the entire world full of hope and joy. She has a bone to pick with those called the Harbingers.
+Beat a Dragon Slayer in One on One, fair combat: She wants to do that, so that she can say she did it. Plus Dragon Slayers make good goals in these times.
Fears:
-Hopelessness: She doesn't ever want to experience it again.
-Her Mother: Yeah, there's deeper reasoning than a wooden paddle, if you catch my drift.
-Chains/Cages: Deeper reasoning than primal instinct.
