Guard My House (ArksHeartnet, Mishi Gonyma and Kyll Vie)

Sephiria sighed as she walked through the train station. She had traveled here two days earlier than both of her guild mates. Sephiria had wanted to gather information around Peace Village, and to see if anyone had heard of her sister. Sephiria had heard a rumor from one of her contacts in Magnolia that her sister had been seen around Peace Village, and so she wanted to check it out before her team worked on the job they had taken. Unfortunately for Sephiria, Rose had long left before she even got word of her being there. Once again, Sephiria hit a roadblock in her search.

Sephiria's thoughts turned to her two guild mates, in particular her spar with Mishi earlier that week. She wondered if he had told Kyll about it, particularly about Sephiria's near breakdown when she had seen the fire from the firebomb. Sephiria had wanted to tell them about it eventually, but she did not want it to be before the first job she took with them. Sephiria was scared of them not accepting her because of her fears. It truly scared her to think that they would not like her anymore, and throw her to the side like common garbage.

Sephiria shook her head clear and sighed again. The mission was fairly straightforward, it was to guard a man named Mr. Watson's home from some thieves. It sounded like one of the best jobs for her and her new guild mates to do. Mishi seemed to accept the idea, and Kyll was willing to go along as well. Those two did say they were coming today right? I so do not want to have the wrong day. I hate when that happens. Sephiria sighed for a third time and took a seat on a bench to await her guild mates for the job, closing her eyes to appear asleep.

Kyll, sitting next to Mishi, decided to bring a book along. The entire ride she had her nose stuck in What We Could've Been. Her closed eyes seemed to have tears pouring out as she began to finish the last chapter, but she held her nose with a bloodstained handkerchief the entire way. Splurt! Splurt! Splurt! Splurt! Splurt! ...... Splurt! .....Splurt! Kyll's face was turning pale as she read the book. Kyll made it her goal to get to the end of the book, but the crimson fluid coming from her nose made it impossible. Kyll had taken breaks from reading the book, bit by bit. Splurt!.... Kyll turned the page and then began to cry for real. "Oh Jaxom! You should've taken..." Splurt! "Her hand in marriage!!" She closed the book and leaned on Mishi crying out blood and tears. Far too much bodily fluids for one to really be letting out. The passengers on the train had cleared out from their booth and crowded the other opposite side of the car. She stood up and looked around. The train came to a complete stop and she fell forward. Kyll picked herself up and dusted herself off. All the passengers looked up and stared at her. "What?" The car was completely silenced. "Never seen someone read a book before?" Kyll thought for a minute of what she asked. Of course they haven't seen KYLL read a romance novel before and she couldn't blame the ladies and gentlemen on board for thinking that she was rather strange to put herself through that much work. "Don't answer that..."

Sephiria's thoughts continued to roll on as she waited patiently for the train to arrive. She wondered how life in a guild would be, as she was used to being on the road all the time and now she had a steady place to live and stay in. She could stay out of the guild for a long time sure, but she'd always have a place to now call home. Home. Heh, I never thought I'd ever use that word in my life again. But it fits the place nice. And it was true. Eclipse Soul was warm and friendly, even if it was not filled to the brim with people. And Kyll and Mishi seemed like nice people.

Thinking about her teammates almost made Sephiria have a nervous mental breakdown. Sure Mishi knew about her fear of fire and spiders, but he did not know the extent of her fears. And to top it all off, Kyll had no clue about either of her fears. What would she say about it? Sephiria shook her head to clear out the paranoid thoughts, It would not be good to keep an unreasonable distance away from either of her teammates, as that might tip them off that she was worried about something. She wanted to tell them on her own time, not when anyone else wanted to, or forced her to. Sephiria yawned when the train came into the station, and she closed her eyes ready to take a nap until her guild mates woke her up, completely oblivious to the outside world.

Kyll looked at Mishi and nodded. "You're right Mishi." She laughed and began to step off the train. She then noticed that Mishi was thinking very hard about something. She sighed and shook her head. "Mishi... I see smoke coming out of those ears. You really need to stop thinking so hard about things." She smiled and held her hands behind her back. The obi to Kyll's sleeveless kimono top had bells on it. They rang every time she turned. She put a white gloved hand over her face then combed back her bangs. Each step she took her long black cloth covered pony tail swerved left and right. "Look..." She finally said. "You start thinking about things, you get paranoid. When you get paranoid, you lose sight of things. When you lose sight of things, you get ambushed. When you get ambushed, you die." She leaned on Mishi and thumped him on the forehead. "You know, sometimes I tend to think you represent us thin eyed mages wrong Mishi." Kyll said with a sly grin. "WE'RE the ones who see things that other's don't see coming." Kyll laughed and continued off the train.

Kyll saw Sephiria and ran straight for her. "Let's get this show on the road! I love fighting thieves! They are so funny sometimes... and their stories.." Kyll giggled. "When I capture thieves I usually wait on the authorities to come pick them up. So I ask for some awesome stories about jewel theivery."

Sephiria had almost completely fallen asleep when she heard the train stop completely. She rubbed her eyes a few times, and then she stood up, trying to stay awake to meet with her guild mates. She yawned and stretched while people were getting off the train. I cant fall asleep now. Who knows what type of creep will try something while I am asleep. Now where are they? Sephiria mentally ranted, looking around for her two teammates. She sighed and rubbed her head when she noticed some people looking at her weird. Sephiria did admit she looked a bit different with her hair down from its usual ponytail, which she had to constantly push aside from her right eye so she could actually see, but that did not make her look any different than usual. I hope Kyll and Mishi recognize me a little to ignore the small difference. I do not believe I look much different, so it should not be that hard. Sephiria sighed in relief when she noticed Kyll running towards her. "Let's get this show on the road! I love fighting thieves! They are so funny sometimes... and their stories.." Sephiria raised an eyebrow questioningly at Kyll when she giggled. "When I capture thieves I usually wait on the authorities to come pick them up. So I ask for some awesome stories about jewel theivery." Sephiria wondered how many times Kyll had done this before, but she just ignored it in favor of bowing to her and Mishi when he arrived behind her. "Hello guys. I hope you are all prepared for our mission today?" She asked, slightly nervous since she was hoping to stay a bit longer in order to keep an eye out for Rose if she made her way back to Peace Village.

"Always prepared for anything... well most of the time." Kyll smiled and continued walking to the mansion. It had been a while since she had done a mission with some friends. Kyll continued down the streets to the mansion. From what she remembered, this guy was always frequently gone and always hiring mages to guard his home. Kyll looked at Mishi and Sephiria with a huge grin. She knew that she was going to have a lot of fun on this job. "I can't wait to see the big house. I wonder how big the kitchen is..." Kyll explained her excitement. She looked to Sephiria with a sly grin. "It's great that Eclipse Soul is finally out doing missions. It's been a while since we have seen some activity. You know... we USED to be the number one guild for a long time running." Kyll giggled. "Then our good friends Fairy Tail took over that spot."

The reason Kyll went on this mission was to show Sephiria what Mishi already knows about her. The fact that Kyll will always be when she is needed. On top of that she wanted to show that she didn't care about personal histories. After all Kyll had a few skeletons in her closet as well. "My my... It's been awhile since I have been to this village. I found some really awesome tea here." Kyll smiled. "After this mission I'll make something for us to celebrate with. Venison Loin with chocolate wine sauce maybe?" Kyll smiled and looked at Sephiria. "We could always go for the spicey curry."
