Personality: Bastion is a rather mean spirited, bitter acting man. Acting. In reality, Bastion is very kind hearted and loving of all life. His hard younger life, and his marred visage have left him with a deep understanding of himself and inner beauty.

Bastion spentmost of his childhood being ill from radiation poisoning, due to side effects of a dark wizard attack. During that time, he developed a powerful sense of independence. His family had been slaughtered in the attack, and his illness caused people to constanrtly pity and wait on him. He hated this. Early on his father had instilled in him the importance of pride and the joy of rewards for his own hard work, so being treated like he was helpless offended him. He began pushing people away, refusing to let them help him, demanding to be allowed to do things on his own. This kind of attitude however made it difficult for him to make friends. After all, who wanted to be friends with someone who always pushed you away?

Bastion holds a rather compassionate and kind heart, despite his dislike for people. If he views you as someone who is not yet wholly evil, he will fight for you. Bastion is a patient, kind man of few words, who has a\the ability to see the goodness in someone, no matter their actions, he can see in their eyes if there is goodness left.

Bastion is alone, and has been for sometime. But it is only because no one understands him. Despite his anger at the world, Bastion has an incredible amount of compassion and kindness. Despite his own ugliness, he can see the beauty in others, recognizing the pain in others and being able to empathize with it. Bastion would lay down his life for an innocent, and often donates his money to the good of others.

Because Bastion dislikes people so much, it makes it difficult for him to workwith people he doesn't know. On the battle field he is smart, strong, and fast, often out thinking his opponent with a cool head and confidence. In a group however this changes. His fear of betrayal and his general disliking for people causes him to act irrationally, often times rushing into a fight in order to get it over with. If he does not know his team, he behaves this way and can be a great liability.

Bastion changes entirely when he is interacting with children. In his eyes, they have yet to be corrupted by the world, and thus he see's no reason to impose any suspicions or expectations, and he is actually quite gentle and loving with them, going out of his way to entertain and comfort them. Though he rarely, if ever, does it when other adults are around.

All in all, Bastion is a good, if aggressive, man, with a gentle heart and soul, and an extreme dislike for dark wizards and magic of any sort. Oh and he also has a particular interest in irony.
Likes:Bastion enjoys being alone. A lot of people are cruel and selfish, and bastion would rather work alone then sift through the ugliness.

Bastion enjoys reading, all sorts of books. In history, he learns, in fantasy he escapes it, in text books he increases his understanding. All books hold a secret, and Bastion loves finding those secrets.

Bastion's third like kind of clashes with his first. Bastion truly enjoys being alone, but despite that, he enjoys the company of true friends. Problem is finding them.

-Bastion genuinely dislikes people, not really people in general, so much as how they behave and treat each other.

-Bastion absolutely despises dark wizards. A dark wizard destroyed his home, slaughtered his friends and family, took Alessa from him, and disfiguredhim for life. He despises them all, calling them the epitome's of sin, and does everything in his power to destroy them.

-Bastion also dislikes trains. He does not trust them and down right refuses to ride them.

Motivations:
- Vengeance is one of Bastions greatest motivations. he has lost everything to dark wizards, and he will not stop until they are destroyed.

-Bastion is always pushing, always striving to improve the lives of others, despite his own suffering. If he can help one person avoid the agony he has endured, it is worth it.

-Bastion holds an eternal desire to improve himself. Only by being truly powerful can he gain his vengeance and help others, and so he always strives towards his goal.

Fears:
-Bastion is afraid of people, and the evils they can commit. Despite his gift for seeing the good in others, Bastion always remembers the possible evil.

-Bastion is afraid of snakes. It is a fear he can overcome, but they always make him freeze up for a moment.

-Bastion holds a deep and powerful fear of a place called Nixus, a place no one else has ever heard of, and his guildmaster only knows of from hearing Bastion scream in his sleep. No one holds any information on it, but those who know of it know Bastion is deathly afraid of the place and can only imagine at what kind of place it is.

Appearance: Bastion is very tall, very broad, and very muscular, with his charcoal grey hair and yellow eyes, he makes for a fairly imposing sight. He wears an almost perpetual scowl, and his body is covered in scars. Dozens of small, crater like scars on the left side of his face, a burn scar covering the entire left side of his chest and shoulder, an ugly slash scar running from his right shoulder to his left hip, a large, ugly scar over his heart that looks like someone stuck their hand into his chest, a scar running from the bottom of his right buttock, down and around the thigh to the top of his knee, and a scar running from his right hip, up his body, ending just above his right eye.

Bastion usually wears heavy brown boots with pieces of steel over the toes, and large, baggy green pans, held up by a very wide, brown leather belt. He wears a thin white t shirt, covered by a heavy green tunic, and a longsleeved, black trench coat, as well as thick brown gloves, with steel plates attached to the knuckles. He also wears a thin black scarf that is wide anough to cover him from mid chest up to over his nose. He also wears a wide brimmed, brown hat, usually pulled low, with his ponytail sticking out the back.
