Special Characteristics: Right eye has a curved scar running around the left side of it, close to the where the eye is, almost forming a thin crescent. Right eye is completely different from the left eye, having no pupil, with two red rings forming the basis of the eye.

Personality: As a child, Garts lived in a village near a mountain range, where the cold air and snow rained supreme. But he had plenty of warmth, thanks to his loving mother and father, but as one can guess, such warmth did not last. Garts awoke one night to a scuffle happening in the living room. In hopes that his father had simply slipped he had quietly made his way to the living to find......red. Red covered the floor, as well as the bodies of his father and mother, but it also covered a grey hooded figure holding a sickle with a pitch black blade. The figure turned to him, and all went black. The next thing he knew, was pain. Pain, pain, pain, and more pain was all he could feel racing through his mind, and soon the pain had ceased. He opened his eyes to find himself on an altar within a dark room lit by candles. And on the floor where bodies, wearing the same grey hoods as the figure he remembered. Except these figures were not moving, and as he got closer to check, were not breathing either. Garts....felt empty after this entire experience, seeing the death of his parents, the pain, and now this, he simply just...leaves.


Garts is a people person, meaning that he is comfortable being around others, and he finds more enjoyment in working with others as well, always willing to strike up a conversation with anyone he can find. However, he doesn't do well with prolonged contact with others, quick hugs and handshakes are fine, but staying in close contact with people are something that he is not comfortable with. Even with his fear of his curse, he channels that fear into determination, to not let that fear control and isolate him from others. 


When Garts is in combat, he tries to instead outwit his opponent, as he never really had much experience in actual combat throughout his life. He will try to use his surroundings to his advantage, and tries to plan ahead before confronting his enemy.


When Garts is a leader, he tries his best to make sure that everyone is ok, both physically and mentally. He will most try to form a plan that makes the least amount of risk for himself and his allies, but is also willing to trust his allies as well if they come up with an idea. His main priority when he has this role is to make sure everyone gets out alive, with success coming second.


When Garts is not the leader, he will do his best to do any part he is given, within reason of course. If he feels that the plan may not be safe, or if he morally against it, he will not hesitate to say his feelings on the matter. He will want to hang out with the people he is with, either to goof around, or just simply talk, so that way they can get to know one another. 

Likes: 

• Animals, whether they be fluffy, scaly, slimy, etc., he will want to pet them, or just hold them. 
  
• Magic, Garts just loves magic in general. He loves to learn about magic, and experiment with magic as well.
  
• Cold weather is something that Garts prefers above anything else. The brisk cold air, the cool breeze, and the snow are things he had become accustomed to in his village, and it helps to make feel a bit more comfortable.
  

Dislikes: 

• Curses, Garts just despises curses above all else. This is mainly due to his own experiences with his own curse, which have not been pleasant, which is underselling that whole experience.
  
  
• People who are needlessly cruel also get under Garts skin, that is because, while he understands that the world is not black and white, he finds those that commit acts of cruelty for no justifiable reason to be nothing but monsters.
  
• Telepathy, is something that Garts can never get comfortable with, most of that is to blame on his cursed eye, but he also just never found it comfortable with hearing someone's voice in his head regardless of their intentions.
  
  
  

Motivations:

• Breaking the curse in his eye is one of the things that drive Garts forward, not only to stop whatever it is from affecting his mind further, but to also spite the curse in general.
  
• Finding whoever, or whatever, had created this curse, so that he may stop them from inflicting anymore of this hellish torment on anyone, ever again.
  
• Tracking down all the members of the cult that had kidnapped him as a child, had implanted the cursed eye into his skull, and had killed his family.
  

Fears:

• Losing control to his curse is one of Garts greatest fears. It whispers to him in his dreams, trying to get him to give in, even just a little, to just let it take care of everything. He fears the day that he might not have the strength to say no to it.
  
• Not being able to break the curse is also another fear of Garts, because if he is stuck with this thing, he feels that it will eventually break down his resistance to it.
  
• Finally, he fears hurting those he cares about, that he might lose control of himself for just a moment and lash out at those around him. That fear constantly plagues his mind when he is around others, even though the chances of that happening are low, he just can't shake that fear.
