Beaux was practically raised by his sister Sonya back in their homeland of Napedia. When both siblings were young, their parents passed away. Beaux cried at night for months, but his sister was always there to dry his tears. They formed a very close bond as they made their way through the world. However, Sonya had to get a job to support them, so Beaux was left home alone a lot when he wasn’t at school. Being a hormonal teenager, in his newfound spare time he sought out a partner wherever he could. One day, he met a strange boy who shared his passion for sensuality. Every day that he spent with the boy, Beaux’s interest and trust grew, until he was spending most of his time away from home. The bond with his sister was falling apart and they argued whenever they saw one another. After a particularly afflicting fight, Beaux ran to the home of the boy. An evening that started with music and tangled legs quickly spiraled out of control. The boy had turned out to be an incubus, much to Beaux’s surprise as the suddenly black-winged and horned boy watched him bleed on the floor. His vision was flickering to black as his sister burst in, saving him from the incubus boy. Beaux blacked out completely. He awoke in a meadow under the warm light of a sunset. No memories remained of his trauma, nor the knowledge of the sacrifice his sister made. Strange scars laced his chest and arms, resembling red stitching. All he knew was that he was alone in an unfamiliar place and his beloved sister was gone. Gone. Beaux wandered across the land in search of his sibling while a strange sickness slowly started to overtake him. A fight with a devil has left me with little magic power left. The only way we can both survive is to become one. I sense a magic power in you that is yet untouched, boy, and I think you don’t want to leave this life just yet.” Beaux, his energy once again dwindling, panicked and took the deal without second thought. The angel extended a hand, and as the boy took it, the two were surrounded by a blinding white light. When things dimmed back to normal, Beaux was left blinking newly blue eyes while large white wings extending from his back. His once brown hair was now a striking silver, the color of moonlight on fresh snowfall. A large pool of magic energy could be sensed within him, and his sickness had been healed. However, the angel was too weak to heal the bone and muscles in his left leg completely, leaving Beaux crippled with a permanent limp. The scars across his chest were still there as well, unable to heal for some unknown reason. Beaux could now switch to his angel-infused self on command. Though he was alive after a second brush with death, Beaux became slightly bitter because he was crippled and alone. When passing through the nearby town, the boy overheard merchants speaking of a land called Fiore, full of magical beings and adventure.
