Dedicated, loyal, resolute, ebullient; these are just some of the words that would be used to describe Nohres' personality. Few that meet him and spend any length of time around him would argue with such descriptors. He is a man who believes in being genuine with the people he cares about and seeks to help in their daily struggles. The idea that he should guard himself, give this false persona to the world, is one he actively rejects. To him, there can be no real friendship or understanding between people if such a relationship is based on a lie.

A man who is quick to laugh and pick up a shovel, Nohres values hard work and conviction from the people he associates with. When asked a question, he has no problem with giving an honest answer. He is not cruel or vindictive in his actions, though that is not to say that he cannot hold a grudge or does not feel agitation when wronged. For him, the understanding that comes from honest interaction begets a relationship that helps individuals grow in strength as they learn from one another. Only the weak are cruel and delight in the suffering of others.

In spite of the boisterous front that many are presented, it would be a fatal mistake to call him stupid or simple-minded. He possesses a wickedly keen mind that readily grapples with concepts and intrigue that his outward appearance belies. A life secluded from the wider world, cloistered from the events and learned of through reports and scrying, is not one that appeals to Nohres. • Food: Nohres is a man very much driven by a fondness for food, in particular meats. The faintest wafts of succulent meat and fresh bread is enough to get him running, even from a near-total collapse. Money is nice, as are other material goods, but nothing quite compares to a good meal.
  
• Honest Labor: For a man like Nohres, a good day involves working up a sweat. Whether through chopping wood, carrying large pallets of goods, or helping to build a house; if it involves the strength of his back and the sweat on his brow, he's more than happy to get to it.
