Description: This magic began as a simple take-over magic, one where Reina would be able to take on the abilities of a dragon, to bring her closer to her dreams of becoming one. And she certainly had the power to do so, in fact it would had come second nature to the Hybrid dragon slayer. However in trying to learn this new magic a ancient secret in her bloodline awakened, causing what would had been a formidable take-over to go out of control, quite literally destroying her body in the process of manifesting her new form. And so measures had to be taken.
Reina would first go through the process of tempering her body to handle the sudden growth in her power. This physical conditioning was difficult for the already athlete mage, and soon it became obvious that the power was too much for any body to handle. However, by inscribing runes on her body to better handle the flow of mana, it allowed her to harness the power within her without lasting damage. As such she now has come ever closer to her dream of becoming a dragon, haphazardly so.
As for how she utilizes this magic, it's straight forward enough on the surface. She utilizes her take-over forms to take the various forms of dragons she has seen and studied on to fight her enemies. However in learning how to control her ancestry she has the potential and talent to utilize summoning and Requip methods. While these are somewhat new concepts for the user, she is quite eager to learn more how to use them.
This new magic would also change her own tactics in battle, or rather bring out a side less seen. Most of the time Reina views fights with a straight forward attitude, normally expecting her opponents to look down on her and her own desire to prove how wrong that would be through overwhelming brute strength. But when assuming the form of a dragon she would change her mindset. Growing up on the stories told by her father and her own research, she would desire to emulate these dragons to capture the impact they usually have. This means she will make every effort to be the following; Ferocious, cunning, fearsome, devastating, and awe inspiring. As for why she is putting such effort into this is very simple.
In her time spent in Fiore and overseas she has noticed a distinct lack of dragons, them considered mythical in most places. Knowing the truth, she wishes to merely share it wherever she goes; Dragons are real. They still exist, should be respected, and that the Darksteels are the strongest of them.

Several centuries ago, Pergrande faced a difficult time as the laws against magic were strictened. Even to possess magic was a crime against the kingdom itself, and after several hidden witches were discovered to be living in Pergrande in secret, its governors decided to start a campaign to eradicate these same witches from their country. Some trials were horrific, specifically focused on women, and several were accused, twenty witches being executed in a process that was so brutal it entered the realm of legend. It is believed that a cluster of remaining Pergranti witches came together to perform a ritual to create a power designed to stop the murders, scared that their powers and lives would be lost. A pure manifestation of witchcraft in its truest form, however, this magic was quickly found to be too powerful, capable of mass devastation, and instead was sealed away in a single witch. Bound with several Hexes in order to contain its power, it now lives on in the descendant of the chosen witch, where now, after many years, its binds are beginning to weaken and its power begins to seep out...
Abilities:
True Craft
During the ritual, the pure magic of several witches was bound together to create a new type of magic. Born from the essence of a witch, the bearer of this scroll has a deep affiliation to curse magic and the elemental components used to create it. As a result, the way the magic is cast is different from other magic, as it is much more complex and capable of recreating the structure of Caster magic into something much more intricate and destructive. This user gains access to a new magic type called "Hex" and is able to use this magic type to create new magics. Hex type magic is a combination of pure witchcraft and the power designed to destroy those who would harm Witches. This magic type enables the user to use "Summon", "Take Over", and "Caster" type spells in magics that are using this "Hex" magic type. The benefit levels for Hex Magic are specified below:- Solitary: +3 Signature Spells to the associated magic (Up to S). Character can have up to 5 Summon spells active at once.
- Primary: +2 Signature Spells to the associated magic (Up to S). Character can have up to 4 Summon spells active at once.
- Auxiliary: +1 Signature Spell to the associated magic (Up to S). Character can have up to 3 Summon spells active at once.
Witch's Essence
As this magic is stronger than normal magic when used to enhance one's own constitution, the strength of the caster increases more so when compared to a normal Take-Over. This means that, instead of the usual Take-Over melee damage values, the user's Partial Take-Overs will now use 1.5x summon melee damage for a Take-Over of their rank as base damage and Full Take-Overs will use 2x the summon melee damage for a Take-Over of their rank as base damage. Additionally, all Take-Over buffs will automatically be doubled to twice their original value. This applies to the Take-Over buff itself only, and not any buffs utilized in the Take Over's abilities.
Affirmation
Witches have a natural talent for affirming more luck to themselves. Therefore the holder of this lineage will receive an additional 100% jewels from any job they partake in. This, however, cannot be split with other parties.
Ritualistic Enhancement
The combination of all these witches' powers means that the Hex user can maintain even more spells in their arsenal. As a result, the wielder of this lineage is granted 2 additional user rank advanced spells in every magic possessing the "Hex" magic type, one of them ranking up to S+ rank and the other ranking to H+ rank. Additionally, they also receive 5 user rank spell slots for one of their magics that rank up with them up to S rank and 1 extra signature spell for every magic that utilizes the the "Hex" magic type to, also ranking with the user up to S. If these additional spell slots are created as "Caster" type spells, they each receive an additional base effect on top of the other effects they possess.
A Witches Wrath
The suffering that was caused by Pergrande was great, and this rage lives on in the descendant of the chosen witch. This intense rage fuels the magic power designed toward destruction, increasing the user's base Spell Damage and base Strength by 100%. Further, the user's base MP is increased by 50%.
Hex Resistance
Witches are the masters of magic and have the means to obtain such magic power even at their own expense, cursing their own flesh in exchange for arcane power. As such, once per post, the wielder of this lineage can deal damage to themselves to regain MP equal to 50% of the damage taken, up to 500 HP at most. For example, the wielder can take on 60 HP of damage to themselves to regain 30 MP. This is limited to once per post and cannot exceed the maximum amount of MP in their mana pool. HP sacrificed through this ability cannot be regained for the rest of the same thread, the HP lost being subtracted from the user's total max HP permanently until the thread in question ends.- Solitary: +3 Signature Spells to the associated magic (Up to S). A process owed to both her dragonification and the power in her bloodline, the user is able to exert their incredible might with little effort.
The first way this can be shown is by creating a effect so intense that it overwhelms those it affects and causes them to become immobile unable to act. This can be achieved by a variety of effects; the user can unleash a piercing roar, creating fierce winds through a wing beat, or merely unleashing their magical aura in a sudden burst. Regardless of how, the effect is always released as a circle originating from the user using S-rank spell burst values. All caught in it will be immobilized until the end of their post or until they receive damage, whichever occurs first. This can be done once a post, can only affect enemies once every other post, and regardless of what form it takes it can be sensed and reacted to as if it were visible(such as being sensed through magic sensory or a similar function).
The second way is a overall 60% buff to their spell durability, the shields becoming more of a extension of themselves.
- Destructive dragon:
Whether a insight to a dragon's own destructive ability or the result of pure witchcraft mixing with her body's etharno, the user can now conjure something and inflict something known dragon element. Often when it manifests purely it appears in a black cloud with red lightning shooting across it. Those hit may experience the pain differently; some will feel they have been set aflame or are suddenly afflicted with frostbite or even as if they had been electrocuted(to name a few examples). Regardless, the pain is quick before fading away, a deceptive tactic as the damage is still present even if it can't be felt.
This is reflected as some of their spells are able to utilize the dragon element(which is only for flavor purposes) and a 120% passive buff to their strength.
- Gigantification:
The user mastering their take over abilities can now call upon the full power of their forms. As such when they enter a full take-over they have the option to grow their size to the creatures, albeit they tend to be smaller in comparison to the actual species. This growth in size varies, so the measurements will be noted on the full take-over in question(the user's attitude may also be influenced depending on the creatures own natural disposition, which will also be noted in each full take-over).
Also due to the change in their body size, certain feats of strength suddenly become much easier to achieve such as knocking away their foes without effort while in their gigantification size(Requires OOC permission for player characters, player and event owned NPC's to be effected from this part of the ability)
Finally their body has been affected even when not gigantic, their scales boasting terrific defense. They gain a 120% passive buff to their spell durability.
- plot abilities:
Shapeshifter - Unsurprisingly, the user is quite adept at transforming their shape into other creatures, people, and even objects. However the more details she tries to mimic the more effort it takes and the chance of failure rises, requiring OOC permission for her to shapeshift into Player characters, their NPC's, and event owned NPC's.
Blood cost - Despite the user's efforts, utilizing spells from this app does hurt them, which usually comes in the form of coughing or having blood spill from their mouth from sudden wounds. Their natural regeneration prevents this from being serious most of the time however.
