Special Characteristics: Jaheira’'s a kitsune, meaning that she has fox ears and nine fluffy tails. She's also capable of shapeshifting and has an incredibly long lifespan.

Personality: Of the three members of the Shinden family who actively travel, Jaheira is the oldest and wisest of the trio. Manipulative and cunning, she will say and do whatever she needs to in order to achieve her goals. Lying and deceit are second nature to her and she takes great joy in toying around with those she meets. She isn’t hostile and generally comes across as friendly but behind her smile lies a woman who’ll rob someone blind if she feels that they have something worth taking. Jaheira isn’t particularly proud either and should she find herself in a situation where the odds are against her then she will flee without a second thought, thinking of it as a tactical withdrawal rather than a failure. No job is beneath her and she will do whatever pays well although she’ll always weigh up the risks before taking one on. Like her relatives, she’s also quite the flirt and has no problem exchanging compliments with those she takes a liking to, regardless of gender or orientation.

Combat is an interesting situation for Jaheira and she fights with a combination of mind games and fluidity. She will use her feminine charms in order to try and put her opponents off and more often than not, she’ll try to capture rather than kill. Killing isn’t beyond her but murder is a messy business and a pain to deal with. She’d much rather either leave an opponent where they are or perhaps take them with her if she thinks they have value.

Teaming up with others is kind of strange as she doesn’t do it very often. Trusting her isn’t the smartest move and she’ll turn on her allies if it’ll save her own hide. Be wary of this kitsune, as most of the stories around them were based on her.

• Alcohol: She definitely enjoys the booze and quite happily imbibes when she’s in the mood.

• The Law: She’s been up to a lot of mischief in her time and doesn’t concern herself with either it or those who enforce it. She lives by her own code.
  
• Charity: Jaheira never does anything for free and finds the idea of something for nothing rather silly.
  
• Uninteresting People: She finds the presence of dull and boring people irritating and will soon slink away when around them.

• Wealth: She wants an expensive den to match her sister’s and the only way she can achieve that is by getting even more money.
