Personality: Shiwen is a cheerful, good natured and curious young woman who tends to act like an older sister to those around her. She can take a joke and is willing to laugh at herself when necessary, preferring to take the high ground rather than getting stroppy and becoming argumentative. Having spent her childhood learning from her four elders, or masters, as she refers to them as, Shiwen tries to keep a level head when faced with a dangerous or tense situation, attempting to find a peaceful solution if at all possible. That being said, if she is pushed into a fight, she can more than hold her own and will deliver a beating if she has to. She is well in control of herself though and never delivers a killing blow, unless she has no other choice, believing that even the darkest soul can be redeemed with time and the right support.

Her battle style is fluid yet forceful, with Shiwen generally trying to press her opponent into submission with her close ranged style. She struggles a bit more against ranged opponents but once she is inside her opponents guard, it can be hard to get her out. It’s rare that she ever loses her temper in combat, having learned from an early age that becoming a slave to anger only leads to destruction. Instead, she uses her frustration in a more useful way, controlling the flame rather than letting it control her. Once a fight is over then that is the end of it and she rarely holds a grudge with those she is forced to exchange blows, being rather forgiving in that regard.

It makes little difference to her whether she is giving orders or taking them and she handles both situations in the same measured way. The only time that issues may occur is if said orders
