    Descripton:
    The people of Pergrande have always been a proud kind, a fact that has been established by their imperial history reaching back more than a millennium. The tragedy that struck this ambitious nation more than 500 years ago, however, was something that forever changed the national consciousness of Pergrande and its people, an untold number of individuals losing their lives in 3 massive catastrophes that reshaped the map of Ishgar forever. War gripped the wounded and stricken nation, more people still losing their lives as brothers turned their blades on brothers, and internal dispute, secession, and hatred dominated the political landscape of the once-mighty Imperium.

    There exists a song from the time, since then long forgotten and only detailed in very few isolated records, telling the story of 5 siblings who had been born to a Pergrandean noble family that, at the time, had given rise to many powerful mages, being highly respected in the northernmost nation of Ishgar for this fact prior to the triplet catastrophes. When, however, it was ruled that magic had become the enemy, the family fell from grace and broke apart, the siblings, once close to each other, now facing each other on the field of battle, doomed to take up arms against one another in a terrible, and indeed, heartbreaking scenario.

    There exists a record of the second-oldest brother among these five siblings, the man being rumored to be the most proficient beast-tamer and collector of curious companions in the history of Ishgar. While himself an exceptional personality, the small army he had gathered for himself consisted of creatures from the lowliest animal to the mightiest dragon, and together, they constituted a force unparalleled by all. In the end, though, he, too, was driven from Pergrande, making his new home in the nation of Fiore, where a new branch family was established by his bloodline. His heirs, to this day, have inherited his uncanny ability to befriend and contract fellow beings in service of a common goal, inheriting his extraordinary aptitude for summoning magic.


    Abilities:

    ✲ Universal Guide ✲
    The complete mastery of Summoning Magic requires a combination of intelligence, charisma, and the ability to form a bond stronger than any other. Charm and flair are, of course, only one aspect of such an individual, but they have, without a doubt, some aspect about them that seems to draw others in and keep them around as friends. This trait is something that the user has inherited from their ancestor, and the bond that one forms with their companions is something that comes to them as simple as breathing, allowing them to perfect this art unlike any other person in the entirety of Earthland to become what could undoubtedly be titled the greatest summoner. The user gains access to a new type of magic called "Advanced Summoning", which may be used in the creation of their magic applications, replacing the option to choose the regular "Summoning" Magic Type for the user. The user also gains an additional 2 active summon slots. The "Advanced Summoning" Magic Type enables the user to use "Summon" spells in the magic containing this Magic Type. The benefits for "Advanced Summoning" type magic can be found below:

    • Solitary: Character can have up to 5 Summon spells active at once. +100% to Spell Durability and Spell Damage or Technique Durability and Strength
    • Primary: Character can have up to 4 Summon spells active at once. +75% to Spell Durability and Spell Damage or Technique Durability and Strength
    • Auxiliary: Character can have up to 3 Summon spells active at once. +50% to Spell Durability and Spell Damage or Technique Durability and Strength

    ✲ Army of Comrades ✲
    The comrades one gathers over time are undoubtedly important to a summoner, and while some companions stay and others may depart, they are all equally important and equally part of each other, defining their journey together in a friendship that not many can call their own. The user gains access to an additional Signature Spell slot in every magic including the "Advanced Summoning" Magic Type they possess (Ranking up with them to S). Further, the user also gains two additional Advanced Spell slots in every magic including the "Advanced Summoning" Magic Type they possess (1 ranking with the user up to S+ and the other ranking up to H+). Lastly, the user has the option to sacrifice an H rank spell slot in any magic including the "Advanced Summoning" Magic Type they possess to gain an additional H+ rank Advanced Spell Slot in that same magic. If any of the spell slots gained via this ability are used to create a Summon spell, the spell in question gains an additional ability of the same rank as the spell slot used to create the Summon.

    ✲ One For All and All for One ✲
    While the familiars, companions, and even friends a summoner utilizes are their greatest asset, the summoner themselves cannot be sidelined by others. They are an integral part of a symbiosis between a mage and their allies, and in order for this symbiosis to function, the balance of strength must be maintained. The user may choose from one of the following two increases:

    • 1) 100% base increase to Spell Damage and Spell Durability / 50% base increase to MP and HP.
    • 2) 100% base increase to Strength and Technique Durability / 50% base increase to SP and HP.

    Increase chosen: 1) 100% base increase to Spell Damage and Spell Durability / 50% base increase to MP and HP.

    ✲ Life-Transcending Accord ✲
    A strong connection to one's familiars is a thing of basic knowledge for mages who rely on and actively employ the art of summoning magic. Few, however, seek to transcend to heights that regular summoning appears to make impossible for the difficulty it presents. Summoner and summon are, after all, different beings, separated by many characteristics. Or, at least, that is what people believe. The user, however, shares with their familiars a true connection of the soul, an alliance that can never and will never be shattered, a mutual devotion that can never be broken. The user is able to add an additional Immaculate Summon to every magic containing the "Advanced Summoning" Magic Type, and can add Immaculate and Zodiac grade summons to the same magic. The user's summons automatically benefit from all buffs that apply to their summoner. The user's summons may freely be designated as origin points for the user's spells, techniques, and abilities contained in all of the user's magic applications. This does not apply to the abilities of other summons the user possesses. Should a spell, technique, or ability be in use by a summon it will be cast as if the summoner themselves had cast it and all criteria for casting it must be met. While a spell, technique, or ability is in use by a summon the user cannot utilize it and the spell, technique, or ability in question must be cancelled or expire in order for another summon or the user themselves to utilize it. Similarly, the user may freely utilize any active ability belonging to a "Summon" type spell, even if the parent Summon spell in question is not currently active. The MP/SP/HP cost of any Summon ability cast in such a way must be paid in full in order to do so. The duration of the Summon ability in question will begin and tick down as normal. If a Summon ability is used in such a way, it will automatically be canceled once its parent Summon spell is activated, restarting its duration and requiring its SP/MP/HP cost to be paid in full to activate it again. All other applicable conditions for activation of the ability in question must be met in order to successfully cast it.

    ✲ The Greatest Bond ✲
    Those who have mastered the art of conjuring are referred to as champions, for their sheer intellect and talents defy the ordinary, the user constituting a champion among champions. Their capabilities in the art of summoning are unrivaled, and their ability to forge bonds with other beings and creations beyond the scope of what most would even consider possible is worthy of legend, making them the champion of spirits. The user may, via their connection through the spirits of all beings contracted to them, share all information they know. The user can understand and speak all languages of Earthland, can gleam information on locations or individuals from their predecessors, and can seemingly converse freely with any living or sentient entity, regardless of whether this applies to any animal, magical beast, construct, or even the spirits of the dead (Must receive OOC permission to obtain information on Players, player-owned NPCs, or Event NPCs). The user further gains access to a special custom spell slot called a "Mastery" Spell. The Mastery Spell may be added to a single one of the user's magics, but must be turned into a Summon spell. This spell slot is of advanced rank and ranks with the user up to Z rank, the spell itself and its abilities using specially modified values that only apply to the "Mastery" Summon spell in question. This spell cannot be designated a Grande/Silver Grade Summon, Immaculate/Crystal Grade Summon, or an Unknown/Zodiac Grade Summon. All other Summon rules apply and the spell gets access to 2 Summon abilities, which may be either active or passive. The abilities may contain the same number of effects as a spell of their rank, up to 5 effects at and after X Rank. Every rank after H multiplies the applicable advanced spell / technique base values for damage, durability, healing, range, and speed specified in the Tables and FAQ by x1.5 (e.g. the base damage of an X rank single target spell-based ability would be 315 HP, 210 HP at H rank multiplied by 1.5). This spell may only be used once per thread. Modified values can be found below:
