Your Pain Is My Pain
Magic Name: Iniquitous Bonds
Magic Type: Solitary Blood Magic (+75% to HP)
Description:
Iniquitous Bonds is a magic specifically tailored for Wynne and is used to ease the suffering of those around her by taking their pain within herself. She leads a sinful life, and she bears her crown of thorns with pride. While she causes pain and harm with her companions, with her magic she can prevent the same from happening to those she cares about.
One advantage Wynne has is that this brand of magic doesn’t use mana, so she doesn’t have to worry about running low when casting spells. The disadvantage is that the fuel for her spells is literally her life blood, so when it runs out, she’s out of commission. But no one said life was easy for one of her ilk.
When she casts a spell, blood emerges from her body, creating pathways when there are none. Although her spells have a tendency to emerge from scars in cases such as these. While painful, she will gladly bear this burden if she can ease some of her allies' torment. If she has the time, Wynne will make herself a fresh wound before she casts a spell so that blood can easily emerge from her body, as the pain is more tolerable in this scenario.
Unique Abilities:
- Sanguine Martyr: Wynne is able to take the pain that her companions undergo onto herself when they are covered in her blood. During this time, all the pain that they would normally feel is directed towards her instead. Allies still take the full damage from attacks, just without the pain that normally comes with it. Thanks to her magic, as this occurs, her sense of pain is somewhat dulled and ranges from pleasurable to painful. Wynne HP is also boosted by 40%.
- Ability 2: Unlocks at B rank
