Spring is fast approaching and nature is coming back to life, so it is time to celebrate the change in season with a Spring Festival! Come take part in a festival that has activities from different spring traditions and enjoy the festivities in honor of winter's departure!
Completion Requirements
As you take part in the activities and complete them you receive a "Small Easter Egg" made of plastic that comes in any number of designs handed to you by event staff. In order to complete the event, the group of participating players as a whole must collect at least three Small Easter Eggs from completing different activities. Once you have obtained the required number you can turn in the event and get your rewards.
When an activity lists a dice roll option, rolling IS required to complete the activity. However, you can choose what activities you participate in and, if no roll is required, you may choose the outcome of the activity.
Thread Word Count Requirement
The event must be run by players either individually or in groups of up to six players. Lone players are allowed to complete the event by themselves.
The Word Count per participating player is 2,000 words.
Just like with jobs, the Word Count stacks. If two players participate in the event, the group WC is set 4,000, three players have to reach a 6,000-word WC, etc. Please bear in mind that the WC of all players contributes to the total WC so that players still have a chance to complete the event if one of the group members is unable to meet their part of the WC.

Activities
- Easter Egg Hunt:
Easter Egg Hunt: What spring festival would be complete without an Easter Egg Hunt? In this activity, participants will be provided an Easter basket and will have a full hour to comb a park and try to gather as many Easter Eggs as possible. Participants are divided into age categories so that every participant has a fair chance. Gather as many eggs as you can before time runs out!
Participants are encouraged to come up with surrounding details like the terrain of the park where the Easter Egg Hunt takes place, the other contestants, the colors and patterns on the eggs, the color of the Easter Egg basket, etc.
Participants must roll a single Normal Die for this activity. Regardless of the outcome, the group gets one Small Easter Egg.
1 or 2: You were fast on your feet and gathered plenty of eggs. Nice work!
3 or 4: You were in the middle of the pack. While your basket was not overflowing, you still managed to get your share.
5 or 6: You got off to a slow start, from there everything seems to go wrong, and you thus did not get very many eggs.
- Easter Egg Painting:
Easter Egg Painting: Are you tired after a session of searching for Easter Eggs or do you just do not want to compete with others to hunt them? Here is a chance to paint your own! Participants are provided with a hardboiled egg, paintbrushes, and numerous colors in which to paint their egg. Participants have up to an hour to paint their egg, so take your time and show how creative you can be!
Participants are encouraged to come up with the details for their designs (colors, patterns, etc.). No Dice Roll is required for this Activity. The group of participants gets one Small Easter Egg.
- Four-Leaf Clover Hunt:
Four-Leaf Clover Hunt: In this activity participants will be hunting a four-leaf clover, a rare plant rumored to bring its owner incredibly good luck. There is one in the park, but there is only one. Participants will have a full hour to search for the four-leaf clover, but it will not be in plain sight. Search high and low and maybe you can be the lucky one who finds it!
Participants are encouraged to come up with details like where in the park the four-leaf clover is, the terrain of the park, etc.
Participants must roll a single Normal Die. Regardless of the outcome, the group of participants gets one Small Easter Egg.
1 or 2: After a thorough search you managed to find the four-leaf clover! Lucky you!
3 or 4: You tried your best to find the four-leaf clover, but someone beat you to it. Better luck next time!
5 or 6: Today was not your, or anyone else's, lucky day. You and all others were unable to find the four-leaf clover and it appears as though it has mysteriously vanished. How curious.
- Dance Around The Maypole:
Dance Around The Maypole: In this activity participants will do a dance around a maypole set up in the center of town. The dance is simple. All one must do is grab the end of a long ribbon attached to the pole and follow the crowd as it moves in a circle around the pole.
Participants are encouraged to come up with details like the decoration of the maypole, the colors of the ribbons attached to the maypole, the nature of the dance, the music playing during the dance, etc. No Dice Roll is required for this activity. All members of the participating group get one Small Easter Egg.
- Leprechaun Relay Race:
Leprechaun Relay Race: In this activity participants will run a relay race, but the twist to this race is that instead of a baton participants must pass parts of a leprechaun costume that they will be wearing to the next runner. The leprechaun costumes consist of a head with a hat attached and a body suit... the hat will have a unique colored band on each hat (ex. red, green, yellow, etc.) so that the team can be distinguished from one another. Only once the runner dons the entire costume will they be permitted to run to the next runner, where the costume will be passed to them. The relay race will consist of four teams of four runners. The first team to have their last runner cross the finish line will win.
Oh, and magic is not allowed in this race, of course.
Participants can either form teams with their fellow PCs or, if players arrive solo or form a team of less than four, NPCs can be used to fill out the team. Participants are free to choose the names, appearances, etc. of the NPCs for their teams and the competing teams.
Participants must roll a single Normal Die. Regardless of the outcome, the group of participants / the participant get two Small Easter Eggs.
1: Your team is filled with fast runners. You are all but guaranteed to win.
2: Your team is filled with pretty good runners. While your victory will not be guaranteed, chances are good that you will win.
3: Your team is filled with fairly good runners. It will be anyone's race to win.
4: Your team is filled with decent runners. Things might be tough at times.
5: Your team is filled with mediocre runners. Things will definitely be tough, but victory is not impossible
6: Your team is filled with below-average runners. You will definitely be the underdog in this race and a miracle is needed for victory.
- Easter Feaster:
Easter Feaster: As part of a promotion for a famous Fiorean chef, one street among the pathways and alleys of the city has become the setting of especially beautiful scenery: The entire street was filled with long tables and benches where all may find a place. The street and the buildings are decorated with enchantingly colorful fabrics and the finest of beautifully blossoming flowers. On this day, everyone who joins in the festivities eats and drinks for free. Not only this, but the dishes presented here are all of the finest quality, attracting festivalgoers from all over. The enjoyment here is palpable, and it certainly is an opportunity to simply relax and enjoy the day with those you value, or alternatively, simply enjoy a really good meal by yourself. For those over 18 years of age, alcohol is served by a festival-exclusive bartender, as well, offering all traditional drinks as well as a few special spring-themed creations. No fancy tricks this time, though.
Dishes and drinks, as well as the details of the feast, are entirely up to participating players.
Players who participate in this activity will receive two Small Easter Eggs each to commemorate the occasion.
- Easter Bunny Battle:
Easter Bunny Battle: This particular Easter Bunny, resembling a pink bunny of about 8ft in height, is hopping mad, and for whatever reason, in its anger, it wants to shut down the Spring Festival. Any civilians in the area will automatically flee when the battle starts, so the only concern players should have is stopping the irate rabbit. It is up to you to save the Spring Festival for everyone!
The Easter Bunny Battle is full of possibilities. Participants are free to choose the Easter Bunny's motives, whether they explain their motives or not, the Spells/Techniques/Weapons it uses when fighting the players, and other details.
The group of participants gets one Small Easter Egg for winning the Easter Bunny Battle.
