Increasing in its raging intensity, the flames are collected before being shaped into a projectile of blidning glow and immense magical energy, which is fired at a target or an area within the ability's Single Target range at the ability's Single Target speed. Upon impact, the projectile explodes with raging ferocity, the azure fire of the explosion that swallows everything in its path seemingly acting with the will to destroy. The explosion encompasses an area equal to the ability's Burst range around the point of the projectile's impact, the explosion travelling at the ability's Burst speed. The nation of Seven is known for its lush nature, abundant forests, and wildlife, but it wasn't always this way. A long, long time ago, when dragons still claimed the skies for themselves and destroyed all those that opposed them, Seven was a scorched wasteland, a great red dragon claiming the territory and covering the land in layers of fire and ash, spreading terror and death wherever it appeared. Many had lost their lives, and as a consequence, just as many had tried to fight the dragon to end their misery and free the land, all of them, in the end, consumed by roaring flame. It had almost seemed like there was no way out of the endless circle of pain, until, one day, a young man looking for shelter from the ever-raging firestorm discovered something he had never seen in his life: A small seedling sprouting from the ash, but a single leaf stretching towards the darkened skies, barely clinging on to life.

The man was in awe over the beauty of this unknown existence and tried his best to care for the dying plant, but it was of no use. There was nothing the man could do, and the plant shortly after would wither away, the single leaf falling to the ash-covered ground below. The man wept with great sadness, begging, praying for this beautiful thing to return, attracting the attention of Seven's scarred and broken nature. Over the years, nature had suffered immensely and built up an overwhelming hatred for the creature that caused this suffering, with this last straw deciding that finally, the time for revenge had come. As the leaf touched the ground, nature would entrust it with all of its collective energy, transforming it into an amulet of pure gold attached to a golden chain. The man looked up with tearful eyes, taking the item into his hands gently. It had been in this moment that the man received the gift of nature, inheriting its collective power, but also its rage. The years of suffering, the loss, the pain, and the death, it had all been too much, and with an expression of pure hate, the young man snapped, realizing what he had to do and that there was only one way out.

Immediately, although he was no slayer, the man began seeking out the dragon that reigned over the land and confronted it, the ensuing skirmish causing the ground to burn and fire to fall from the sky. For all of the battle, the winged monstrosity seemed to retain the upper-hand, the young man barely able to withstand the onslaught of heat and fire until, in a move of desperation, the man clutched the golden leaf around his neck, focussing his determination, the determination of nature itself on a single goal: To defeat the evil that had ruined his home. Within a moment, a massive burst of energy had been released, consuming the body of the man who had served as a vessel for nature, but also clinging to the dragon who, under roars of agony and defeat, was swallowed by the enormous explosion of magic, finally freeing the land of its oppression. It is said that where the man defeated the dragon now stands a massive tree, the oldest in all of Seven, all others in the land originating from the one who had given up all to save his home. Even today, the man is regarded as a hero in the country, and every man, woman, every child knows the story. What happened to the golden necklace? Not so a young girl from Bellum a long time ago, however. Born without magic, she, in the nation of Bellum, was treated accordingly, suffering dearly at the hands of mages every day of her life. The girl, while hating those that looked down on her, did not lose hope, for when she looked up at night, directing her gaze away from the world that put her through her agony, the pain she had endured during the day seemed washed away in a flood of lights contrasted against an endless void, a beautiful array of stars upon a canvas of black, wishing, hoping that the lights one day might free her.

Unable to hold her tears, she directed her wish towards the stars, the cosmos that surrounded her, a wish that was not uttered in words, but a fervor of emotions, feelings that, as they were directed at the universe, were reciprocated by it. Through a strange phenomenon, the universe, not gods, not men, wished to right a wrong, a shooting star falling from the sky as she stretched out her hands, a small jewel descending from the heavens above and the girl catching it within her grasp. Bewildered, the girl looked upon the glistening stone within her hands, the stars, the void, the endless expanse of space gazing back at her through the window she held, the jewel seemingly containing a glistening galaxy in all its aspects, and as the light of the universe reflected from her still teary eyes, she received the universe's gift: Knowledge of the force that was contained within this tiny little pebble of creation, the fundamentals of existence itself.

The jewel possessed a power that couldn't be put in words, and the girl, knowing how to wield it, sought to rid herself of the injustices she had suffered once and for all, using it to not only grant her body the magic she had not known before, but also obtaining the opposite of the same factor. With the jewel in her hand, she returned to the estate where she lived in slavery, quickly and brutally deposing of all opposition as she confronted the duke and duchess she had been forced to serve, killing both in a display of never before seen power, thus fulfilling her wish.

This, though, was not what the universe had intended. The gift had been given to her to encourage her, to grant her hope and the power she needed to free herself and others who suffered the same fate. Now, stained with the blood of her oppressors, the power of the jewel had been corrupted and promptly ceased shining in its cosmic glory, her magic fading from her body in the same instant. Without the stars granting her their boon, the girl lost that which had made her strong, being overwhelmed and arrested quickly. Tortured, beaten, broken by the powers of Bellum, the girl revealed the nature of the jewel to those that had made her suffer, her reward consisting of a swift execution, in the end, in a tragic twist of fate, granting her the peace she had so very much desired.

The jewel, though, is not just nice to look at. Containing the will of the universe, this pebble of creations holds the potential to alter reality according to one's own wishes, granting mystical powers to the one that holds it. This can go as far as granting the ability to tap into, feel, and even use magic to those who do not possess it, or reinforce magic already present, granting the user a 100% buff to their base MP.

Description: A lesser-known secret that the jewel holds is the opposite to its power, the reaction to an action, or, as some would say, the counter-force to a force, that which exists and that which cannot exist contradicting and complementing each other at the same time, for one could not be without the other. The user obtains the ability to store and utilize the perfect opposite of magical power, represented by a new stat called Anti-Magic (AM) which exists parallel to the user's MP. The user starts every thread with an AM of 0 and can accumulate AM up to a cap dependent on their rank (specified below). Accumulating AM can be done by casting spells. Every time the user casts a spell, their Anti-Magic pool will fill up with AM equal to the actual MP used to cast said spell (e.g. the user casts a D rank spell, using 20 MP and filling up their AM by 20). This applies only if MP is spent to cast a spell, and cannot apply to spells or abilities that do not use MP when being cast or use another stat when casting. The user's AM pool cannot be increased by any means and is unaffected by buffs, drains, or other stat increases and decreases.

AM can be spent, however, to instantly negate any and all kinds of spell, technique, or ability (following negation effect rules) if the user pays AM equivalent to the cost of a spell. This follows the normal rank requirements for negations (ranking with the user up to Z rank and the respective spell equivalents) and can be used against any kind of spell, technique, or ability and as many times as possible per post, provided the user has the AM required to negate spells. Spells, techniques, and abilities can only be negated if they are in the user's burst range (Up to H rank).

This aura cannot be pierced by spells with piercing effects and renews once per post for the ability's duration. Description: Embracing the power of the universe, the user can draw upon their potential for power bestowed upon the jewel by the fundamental concept of creation, combining the material and immaterial for a short period of time to attain the reality-altering power of the cosmos, increasing the user's spell damage by 300%. The user can focus this power into a glowing projectile that appears like shooting stars comprised of bright white energy which can be created at the tip of the user's fingers and fired off at an enemy within range of the ability, exploding into a small burst of sparks and light upon impact. This deals no physical damage to any object or person and will leave all things completely unharmed while drawing in and essentially reversing magical energy from the area of its impact, effectively destroying it in the process. Hitting an opponent with one of these projectiles will not damage their HP, but deal damage to the affected opponent's MP directly. This ability, however, does not benefit from any kind of increases or decreases to spell damage and cannot be used to bring an opponent's MP into the negative.

Description: The jewel still contains a spark of the girl's pure wish, but also, on the opposite side, a spark of the corruption and the hate that caused the girl to lose her power. The jewel will similarly react to the user, granting them the means and powers in the hopes that one day they may fulfill their own wish. Whether the user's story will end like the girl's once did is, of course, entirely dependent on the wielder. This ability grants the user a single advanced spell slot that can be added to any single one of their magics or to this item and can be customized by the user to their liking, following the magic and spell rules. The spell slot ranks with the user (Up to H+ Rank). If the spell slot is added to this item it will be turned into an ability slot (passive or active) that can be added below this ability.

The author of this lineage scroll, however, claims that magic is not the pinnacle of power, but quite the opposite. It is written that there are things that easily surpass the limitations set by magical abilities. Magic, like many things among men, is but an artificial concept, and, as the author of this strange, almost cryptic lineage scroll claims, something objectively inferior to the abilities granted by the depths of the cosmos... and what eldritch horrors reside within those depths, of course.

The user gains access to a new magic type called "Cosmic" and is able to use this magic type to create magics. The user can also freely designate all spells in magics utilizing the "Cosmic" magic benefit as Blood Spells at their own desire. The benefit levels for Cosmic Magic are specified below (These benefits apply only to the "Cosmic" type magic in question, not the character itself, excluding the MP increase):

Solitary: +3 posts to max spell durations, +25% Spell Cost Reduction, +75% to MP

The wielder can apply this knowledge to directly influence the powers of another, though it is not unlimited. This allows the user to, once per thread, negate a spell, technique, or ability within their user-rank burst range (Up to H) for free. The user is not limited in the rank of spell, technique, or ability that can be negated via this ability. All other rules regarding negatin effects apply. The spell being negated seems to lose color, turning grey before fading away into dust, scattering into nothing. After the spell is negated, the user absorbs its magical power for their own use, immediately regaining MP equal to the original MP/SP/HP cost of the spell or ability being negated through this lineage effect.

The user of this lineage, after studying the scroll containing details of the horrors from beyond, has gained an innate understanding of the fabric that makes up reality itself, and, in a small way, is granted the ability to manipulate this very fabric, altering the manifestation of their will to give them an advantage. The user gains a 100% base increase to their MP as well as a 50% base increase to their Spell Damage, Spell Range, and Spell Speed. Further, the user also gains access to a 5% MP regen per post which is independent from their regular MP regeneration maximum.

Monarch of Emptiness:
Cosmic energy, in effect, interacts with its environment similarly to magic, though is, at its core, vastly more powerful, flexible, and possesses a higher potential for manipulation than magic itself. Still, Cosmic Magic requires great intellect, intuition, and skill to wield effectively, though, through the insight granted by this scroll, that shouldn't be a problem for the user. The user, as a consequence, gains 2 additional Signature Spells in all of their magics including the "Cosmic" magic type, as well as 2 additional Advanced Spells for every magic including the "Cosmic" magic type, one of them ranking up with the user to S+ rank and one of them up to H+ rank. Further, the user has the option to give up their H rank spell slot within a single one of their "Cosmic" magics to gain an additional H+ rank Advanced Spell slot (Unlocked at H rank) within the same magic.

While the user's understanding of reality extends to the control of magic and magical power, it is not exclusively limited to it. The user, through the secrets revealed to them by this scroll, has obtained the ability to shape reality itself. This grants them a 200% buff to Spell Damage while also granting the following effect: Within their user-rank advanced Multi Target range (Up to H+), the user can freely shape the world around themselves according to their liking. This includes changing the physical state of materials, their shape, density, temperature, and all other attributes they possess. Description:
Beyond the world we see is a world of wonders and perpetual dawn, where mornings are just as beautiful as the night and the flora whimsical in every way. Man was able to traverse this world and lived a peaceful life with its denizens. The Faewild it was called, a land ruled by the Fae King. These humans made a pact to be shepherds, to maintain the balance in this world, until an event that threatened this same balance beckoned all men to the Faewild’s world tree in order to sacrifice it and themselves to protect this world. This cost the Faewild greatly, as the bridge between this world and Earthland was cut off. Knowledge of this world was lost in the pages of history, without any known descendants.

However, the World Tree persisted from its sacrifice, now reverted to its infancy - a seed. Its denizens tried their best to make this seed grow, but without a shepherd, it’s been proven to be impossible. Their wishes, however, would soon then come true, as this seed would resonate and form a temporary rift between the Faewild and Earthland, calling out to a person worthy of being the World Tree’s shepherd.

Abilities:

Sanctified under the Glades
Underneath the majestic shade of the World Tree is the bearer of this lineage sanctified by the light of the Fae King, bequeathing unto them the gift of the Faewild. They find their magic to be soothing and gentle, and their spells are more potent. As a result, the user's base Spell Healing is increased by 100% while their base MP, base Spell Range, base Spell Speed, and base Spell Durability are all increased by 50%.

Baptized by the World Seed
The World Seed itself provides a gift to give to the bearer of this lineage. After being gifted by the Fae King, they are led to a sanctuary where a vivid blue pond sits under the radiance of the twin sun, consecrated by the light it was exposed to. Anointed by this same water, the bearer of the lineage receives the boon of the World Seed, extending the glade’s relentless endurance to them. They’d find that they are less susceptible to harm as they are granted a 50% increase to their Damage Reduction. In addition, the boon bequeathed by the World Seed extends the Faewild’s magic unto them, granting the bearer of this lineage an additional Advanced Spell slot per magic, which ranks with them up to H+ rank, as well as an additional Signature Spell slot per magic, which ranks with the user up to S rank.

"A feast!" The fae would yell. A celebration was in order after the heralding of the new shepherd, blessed by the World Seed and the Fae King. Only the best of feast for the most joyous occasion, as one would say. Thus did the fae labor to collect the freshest ingredients, one of which being a dewdrop from a most peculiar plant. It’d be known as honey if not for its peculiar, yet tantalizing, almost psychedelic colors. With just a sip from this divine nectar, they are blessed by the land - a third gift: Gold leaves, a precious resource common only in the Faewild. So precious, in fact, that they are valuable in our realm and can be auctioned off, thus granting a 100% increase in jewel rewards after the completion of a job.

Shepherd of Silver Branches
Those anointed by the denizens of the Faewild and the World Seed are granted access to forbidden arts of healing, known only to those chosen as shepherds. These are more potent in nature, so much so, in fact, that they have the capacity to pierce through the veils of decay and misery and bring nearly departed souls back to the land of the living. Still, this art is forbidden for a reason - it costs its caster’s life force, which cost the previous shepherds their own life to protect the land they loved. The bearer of this lineage gains an additional ability as specified below that costs no MP to cast, however, the spell draws its power from the caster’s life force to activate, draining them of a percentage of their current maximum HP which can’t be recovered nor is it affected by any Damage Resistances or Spell Cost Reductions. This spell can only be cast once per thread.

Description:
Legends of old have hinted that there was once a nameless library situated atop its own floating island, shielded from the eyes and minds of the humans below by clouds. Should there not be any cloud coverage, the island could manufacture its own to keep itself safe. A lone mage maintained the library, only descending his throne of knowledge to obtain magical books deemed too powerful for the general populace to have control over by the prophetic crystal. He’d add those dangerous tomes to his frightening library, then continue floating around all of Earthland in studious solitude until he was dispatched again.

One prophecy it seemed the crystal could not foresee was its own downfall. One day the library just plunged from the sky, scattering some books to the winds and destroying others as it met its demise. Ultimately it crashed into a mountainside, fading into obscurity and taking many powerful secrets with it. Time passed and slowly the surviving texts entered back into the population.

The Tome of Carbuncle is an ancient healing text brimming with healing mana. Simply tapping the book’s spine to someone will heal injuries! How could a healing tome be too dangerous for the general population, you ask? Well, when it possesses the answer to immortality, many lives are lost warring over such a powerful thing. In the past, some not-so-nice people have managed to gain control over it and wreak horrible amounts of havoc. Since most people suck and ruin good things for everyone, the poor old mage had to lock it away. Now that it’s back out in the open, what kind of person will find and use it now?

Furthermore, while the user can be defeated while in possession of this tome, they cannot die and will be revived fully once the thread they died in ends.

Looking somewhat like a bunny, it races to the fallen person, revealing its brilliant ruby upon its forehead once within range. As the gem glows, it places its head to its target’s head, bestowing on them a second chance. Even if a Player, player-owned NPC, or Event NPC has reached 0 HP in a given thread, this ability can be used to revive them and restore their HP to full.

Within the ruins of a country across the sea, this tome was discovered in what looked to be an ancient medical facility. Strangely, it was in perfect condition and dust-free, and even though it had been buried for hundreds of years, its pages contained details on medical information discovered up to the present day. In fact, perhaps even more advanced information that has yet to be discovered might reside within. It was taken to a library for studying but was hijacked on the way and it faded into legend.

While it was floating around in the world, many hands have turned its pages. Many legendary healers have benefitted from its miracles, and still, more depraved souls have warped its passages to enact horrific modifications and tortures upon civilization. One stipulation is the book has is the heart-shaped container on the front must contain blood for the book to possess any of its magical abilities. Whose blood it is doesn’t seem to matter. Another important note is that the book won’t work for the user forever. Eventually, it will shut itself and lock, forcing it to be passed on to someone new [Note: This is plot. Whether the user is siphoning their blood for the book’s benefit or pulsing some of the corrosive blood into their opponents, they will take damage and receive an illness-like effect that drains 5% of the opponent's HP per turn for the rest of the ability's duration. A number of strikes equal to the maximum duration of this ability may be performed in any given post it is active.
