Right or wrong, it's very pleasant to break something from time to time.
Well this was gonna be fun. Divine Calamity had a small number of members but that would work for their benefit. They would be able to intrude into most backgrounds without being detected, sliding into the masses without concern or suspicion. And given that there was an active war ripping the continent apart and each side was vying for more grunts to come and die for their cause, it was very easy to offer one’s service and be signed up without question. Granted, Willow had opted to align herself with the Ironheart Pact; a notoriously anti-magic nation that prided itself on scientific progression and invention. That all sounded well and good, ‘cept for the whole hatin’ magic thing. Willow had just recently acquired two types of magic and now that she had it, she wanted to use it -- badly. But doing so would put her in direct conflict with that army -- no good there! So when she made her choice, she knew she’d have her work cut out for her. Committed to her decision, she went all out to create devices and weapons that she could use to ‘trick’ the Pergrandian soldiers into thinking she wasn’t using magic. But they would, in fact, be fake and be simple, empty shells to allow her to use her magic through them. It was a crafty, dangerous choice but the tinkerer did love to make the worst choice when it came to her own safety. Armed with her new weapons, she had decided to add upon the deception by crafting an alias. One Rayna Sutherland; a Pergrandian native who loved weapons and putting down magic users! It wasn’t a far stretch from who she was already but she did go out of her way to adopt a magic wig, changing her natural blue to a bright blonde with pink and blue dye. Fitting herself in a tight leather, red and black corset, tight similarly colored pants, a red leather jacket and a black pair of driver gloves. Tying her hair back, she adorned a pair of engineer goggles and placed them on top of her head. Finally she put on some makeup -- black lipstick, black eyeliner and red shadowing over her eyes. Her outfit complete, she checked to see who else was planning on partaking in the little conquest of countries. Turns out, the whole guild was planning on joining on both sides, hiding themselves among the ranks. That included her new dommy mommy Thana and another one of the members, Alivya. A cute cat woman, it seemed that Alivya was seeking to join in on Ironheart’s side as well. Now with a new, good-looking buddy, Willow made her way to Minstrel, which was calling for aid against an incoming assault from the Desierto brigands. Thana looked to be joining on the other side, which meant that there was little doubt this battle would be entertaining. As Willow hopped up on a barrel, she squatted on it and looked at Alivya with an impish grin. “So good lookin’,” she started. “What’s ya story? You’re the first girl with feline ears I’ve met and I gotta say; I’m likin’ what I’m seeing.” She gave the woman a once over, unafraid to check the other woman out. “Name’s Willow. I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. Or improperly, as I usually like it.” |
