Personality: Katsumi is a quiet, rather awkward person. She's more comfortable working by herself and doing her own thing then working in a group. Usually, Katsumi will stand back to simply observe a crowd or situation. She'll speak up if someone speaks directly to her or if she realizes something of great importance to the situation. In battle another side of Katsumi comes out. She becomes ferocious, attacking and slipping under opponents strikes like its a dance. The slip of a girl attacks quickly, avoiding rather than blocking attacks. She claims its a result of all her fighting within the game of death, Lacrima Arts Online, which she was trapped in for two years. This calm calculating personality of battle exudes confidence that the normal Katsumi doesn't quite have. This persona with fighting doesn't hold up when Katsumi is in charge. She changes from a calm cool fighter into a calculating commander. Katsumi prefers to know every skill a person has when they are under her command. This allows her to place them better and therefore use them to their maximum potential. As a leader, Katsumi will never use her fighters as sacrificial pawns. If she sees a situation where a sacrifice will make a difference, she's the one that jumps up to take that shot. Katsumi would rather fight on the front line with her soldiers than direct from the back. That doesn't mean she'll let people off the hook if they screw up or goof off. Discipline and orderliness is what keeps people from dying based off her experience in LAO. Under a leader, Katsumi will do her best to follow orders. However if she feels the orders unnecessarily put people in danger or are a deliberate move to sacrifice others, Katsumi will argue with that leader. Failing to convince them, Katsumi will, without remorse, supplant them as commander. She won't tolerate playing with lives regardless of the situation or potential outcome.

~Quiet: Katsumi is more of a thinker than a speaker. She tends to get lost in her gamer view of the world and struggles to connect to others as a result. When Katsumi does speak, its either a rapid fire explanation riddled with gamer terms or enough words to get the point across.
~Tank: Katsumi will throw herself in front of others to take damage even when she can't afford to. She hates that she never sacrificed for her friends in LAO and the decision drives her need to protect those around her. Even though she's terrified of death, Katsumi wants to protect just as much.
~Inquisitive: Katsumi's mind constantly works to unravel the workings of the world around her. She wants to discover, even if her conclusions are often quite wrong with her tendency to use gamer logic. It doesn't stop her from looking into things.
~Self Challenger: Katsumi pushes herself with tiny challenges and in situations where she needs to, big challenges. This can be anything from exercise to impossible tasks. She tends to get disheartened when she can't reach her own goal but she uses that as fuel to beat the next challenge.
~Trust Issues: Many people within the depths of LAO turned on each other for little reason. Katsumi had knives driven - literally and figuratively - into her back. Katsumi struggles not to find various reasons why she shouldn't trust people but she has a long road ahead of her.
~Always Pushing Forward: Katsumi got to a point where she stood still in LAO. To the detriment of her friends, she stopped moving forward. Katsumi swore she'd never again stand still when she could move forward. It can lead her into dangerous situations and sometimes she's unable to push herself forward. However, Katsumi continues to try every day.
~PTSD: Katsumi struggles with trauma from LAO and depression from her part in her friends' deaths. This often triggers at inopportune moments during battles or tense situations.
