    Willow Banner
Right or wrong, it's very pleasant to break something from time to time.

So apparently there were places where magic was not prevalent on Earthland. Now that presented a unique possibility for Willow. She’d only heard about the Neutral Lands because of some advertisement for a giveaway. She had been walking through the streets of… some town whose name she couldn’t recall when she heard the blaring magical sign. It had stated that a new device was coming out, called the iLac, or rather it was a new version of a lasting product. Considered the peak of magical technology, it operated like a radio, allowing people to call one another along with several other features that the humans apparently didn’t have pre installed in their own heads.

Of course, everything the iLac had was something that Willow already had access to in her brainframe (that’s what she called it). But the curious mention of something called the Lacnet made her ears perk up. Apparently humans did have a digital web where they stored information and used it as a means of connection. Now that could be helpful -- she hadn’t been able to locate a good point to locate any kind of neural network but apparently the humans were just handing them out for free. With a giggle and a new pep in her step, Willow hopped off to find a means and method to the Neutral Lands.

Apparently a city built in a magicless zone, it actually reminded Willow of a lot of the more populated planets she had been to. With highrises, towering living structures and businesses, she actually felt a bit more comfortable than she had in comparison to the hardly advanced towns that also dotted Fiore’s lands. And since she didn’t possess magic yet, it meant that she could blend in even easier. She had managed to worm her way onto a public transport vehicle that took her right into a bus hub. Sitting in the middle of the vehicle, she was able to hear the chatter of all the people around her. Some were mages, dreading the fact that they would be without their magic for their time in the city. Others were citizens of the city itself, discussing boring topics and every once in a while, scoffing at the men and women whining about losing their supernatural abilities.

Once there, she asked about where she could find the establishment giving away the iLacs. Luckily a few of the travelers had also come there to get their free devices and invited her to come along with them. Playing up her part, Willow stated that she was a young woman that had just left her parent’s home and was out seeking adventure for the first time. It was one of several different deceptions she had in her bag and easily one of the most reliable for wayward travelers. Soon enough they arrived at the business building, with several attendants standing outside offering up the iLacs. With her new device in hand, Willow decided to make a day of exploring the city, curious to what she could learn from the magic less place.
