Personality:
Duke(as he likes to be called) is a man who has lived long enough to know what he wants. Quiet life where he only has to worry about himself and nothing else. Due to this, he can be quite passive when it comes to life, willing to often time ignore insults to himself and making choices that are "good enough". He will even often say this, choosing to let others make decisions so as long their not too outlandish. Speaking of this, duke is also pretty vocal, not afraid to let his opinion be known. Though sometimes this can be seen as him complaining(and usually it is), but he can't be faulted for not speaking his mind.

Truth is though, what he says and does are often two different things. While he may talk about wanting to be alone and do the bare minimum, he will go out of his way to help another if they need it(he won't be the first to admit though he's doing this out of the goodness of his heart). Those who know him more will also see he is quite compassionate, specifically towards those who are viewed less then people. He also is a songbird, if he believes he is alone he can often be heard humming a song while(out of beat) rapping out a rhythm.

In battle duke is mainly concerned with ending it quickly, given that he doesn't like to fight unless forced to it. With that said he's unafraid of using tactics that can be viewed as "Gruesome" or "Underhanded". Not one to be in the fray himself, he'll fight from afar unless it's absolutely necessary for him to be up close and personal. Even then, it's both from choice and a unfamiliarity with combat, at most having shot arrows as a young teen. With this said, it's unsurprising that he doesn't mind following another's orders in the fray, though it takes a bit of trust for him to follow more riskier orders.

Likes:
-Relaxing; He values the downtime that he in past had barely any time for
-Deceit; Duke is careful about his identity and enjoys it if others don't know more then what he allows them to know
-Reading and researching; A curious soul like most, he can get lost in it for hours if not careful
-Helping others; despite him saying otherwise, he enjoys coming to the aid of others

Dislikes:
-Being unappreciated; he's been through this more then once, and does not care for it
-being overworked; another thing he's been through a lot, and something that has costed him
-Tyrants, abuse of power; being under them for most of his life, he has abundant grudges against them
-leadership roles; Duke doesn't mind, and often see's reason why he should be a leader at times. In his mind though this is more of a necessary evil then something he strides for


Motivations:
-Live a quiet life; If duke had his way, he'd want to live a life away from society and a lot of it's rushes
-Self sustaining; Duke prides himself in not relying on others to do what he wants. While he's not against the idea of help, he only wants it if it makes the task at hand go by faster
-Finding love; A cliche, but he does yearn to share what he has with another, though due to various reasons it hasn't been easy.


Fears:
-job; The idea of working in a job to his death that has him constantly stressed is fear enough
-Can't sustain himself; Either due to age or a injury, duke fears the day he can no longer work to sustain himself, something he understands cannot be avoided easy
-Abuse; Duke understands his passiveness, if not careful, can lead to others taking advantage of him, and fears that he may one day consider such behavior normal
