Psionics - a power known and used by espers of their own right and of the Pergrande military or their motherland’s descendants. Those who wielded this awesome power are blessed with the ability to reshape the world with their own mind and will, far surpassing the capabilities of magic. Some say it's a dangerous power to have considering how destructive psionics can be. However, it all boils down to psionics being a tool for both war and creation.
There are different types of espers - some are granted the ability to peer through the minds of others with telepathy, while some are gifted with the ability to move objects with their own mind. Some are able to peer to and fro from the present day, while some can scry and become observers from afar. There are also those who are capable of materializing their psionic energies, molding them into psionic constructs capable of what its creator wills. For Michael, it is a combination of some of them. This blessing is owed through his and his twin siblings’ lineage, tracing further from history and having been born under the bloodline of espers who served under Pergrande.
His talent for manifesting most of the telekinetic abilities available grant him various tools for destruction, creation, and deception. Telekinesis, he ability to move and manipulate objects, and by extension, reality, with his mind and own will. This includes people, structures, the elements all around him, and magic itself. He is not only capable of manipulating objects, but he is capable of manipulating dimensions and space, allowing himself to create portals that lead elsewhere. He is also capable of manipulating himself, granting himself enhanced and simulated strength that could only be described as supernatural.
Telekinesis is his prime psionic ability, but he is also capable of Telepathy, but not as much as he could only converse with people through his mind. He can’t read minds, and he can’t see from beyond his normal range of perception. In addition to both of these psionic abilities, he is capable of projecting his psionic aura and manipulating it so he seemed different in essence, but not physically.
Using most of these abilities requires him to send his psionic energies in order to affect and manipulate things at will. This psionic energy has a red color - the color of wrath, blood, and danger; a color befitting his destructive capabilities. Unlike magic, his psionic abilities have no need or chants and no magic circles are required.
Who knows how powerful he’ll become as time passes? He just might manipulate reality itself at a particle scale.
UNIQUE ABILITIES
Psionic Flow I Harnessing psionic power costs too much PSI to use. Since then, he has trained himself to expand his mental capacity, allowing himself to store 60% more PSI that he can use multiple telekinetic abilities without fear of running out. In addition to this expanded reservoir, he also generates 5% of his maximum PSI per post due to his lineage from being bonded with Cthulhu, the great old one.Hyper Awareness I A psionic ability that’s also known as ‘Enhanced Awareness’. Just from the name alone, the ability grants him an increased sense of awareness of his surroundings, allowing him to detect dangers like traps or incoming attacks before his instincts kick in (this ability can only be used with prior consent from players, player npcs, and event npcs). This also allows him to remember details easily, taking note of every detail and noticing anything that was amiss. This awareness is limited only to his visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory senses, and due to its nature, this ability is useless against enemies that can warp or distort space and reality. The range of this ability is also extremely limited, being aware of his surroundings up to 100 meters. Having reached greater heights in his journey to remaster his psionic talents, the psionic reservoirs of his mind has expanded further, granting him 60% additional PSI.
Psychocompetence I A psionic ability which allows him to learn or gain new skills through psychic means. As an esper, he is able to use his psionic power to instantly develop skills independent of his previous experience, such as intermediate motor skills like acrobatics, and/or social skills which includes perfect mastery of one language, including jargons and idioms. Forms and styles unique to certain individuals may be mimicked through this unique ability, but if it is unique to a player, player npc, or event owned npc, prior consent must be met. He cannot exactly maintain this level of mastery for long, and some skills might not be as permanent such as skills involving martial arts or anything physical. He can only have one skill learned at a time, but his ability to freely use his psychocompetence at will is a proper tradeoff. It also goes without saying that he cannot mimic abilities of supernatural origins, as well as magic, through Psychocompetence. Having reached greater heights in his journey to remaster his psionic talents, the psionic reservoirs of his mind has expanded further, granting him 60% additional PSI.
PLOT ABILITIES
Telepathic Conversation I A psionic ability under Telepathy, which allows him to transmit and/or receive information mentally. Telepathy in itself has a broad array of uses, however, Michael is incapable of reading minds. Between him and another individual, he is able to temporarily create a telepathic link which allows them to converse discreetly, but this ability may only affect one target at a time, and they must be within 5-10 meters away from him.Psionic Aura I Much like having a wizard's presence felt within another's magic sensory, Michael's psionic aura gives away his true abilities and nature. He is aware of the stigma against espers due to the nations' relationships with Pergrande, so he can't just use his telekinesis all willy nilly. Thus he has trained himself to manipulate his own psionic aura, capable of disguising himself as an average wizard by camouflaging his aura with the ethernanos around him. Though it does conceal his flow of psionic power, it doesn't prevent the malevolent aura he exudes due to the inhibition of both demonic entity and eldritch god inside of him.
Telekinetic Flight I Through Telekinesis, he is able to move himself around in mid air, allowing himself to fly.

It is a mystery whether matter remains corporeal or not within the Chaos dimension, its laws as fickle as the passing seconds. One moment, a building stood stalwart, and then the next thing you know, it bends and twists like rubber. One becomes two, and two becomes eight. What was only a single bookshelf became many, its forms spreading from the origin point to form a pattern. Despite this, they don’t seem to collide. Such is one of the enigmas that governs this dimension.
He can harness this chaotic force to his advantage. At the invocation of this technique, he designates an area to subject with the chaos force before channeling a protective barrier that traps enemies, manifesting as a fractured glass dome, its cracks shifting patterns. It can manifest above an area, up to its maximum AoE range, or as a burst of intangible glass from himself, the area being centered on himself. One can see the goings on from the inside, however, it is just an invisible and incorporeal force that can be passed through by innocent bystanders. To those that can wield magic or other powers, however, the existence of this dome is plain obvious and can be interacted with with the use of spells, techniques, or other abilities. Allies can come and go without having to use magic or techniques, however, what can be classified as “others” will have to break through this barrier. The same can be said for “others” within. It can be said that he is dragging both his allies and enemies to a parallel dimension where they may fight to their fullest ability, limited only to the protection afforded by the barrier that keeps the laws in place, while leaving innocent bystanders unharmed.
During this time, everyone who he considers as an “enemy” would find themselves at the mercy of the chaos force. They’d find their offensive and defensive magics waning, subjecting them to an 86% debuff to Spell Damage and Spell Durability. He can, additionally, bend the laws of reality within the protective dome, making one object become two, and two become eight, while forming a pattern. The ground may fold up or down, and buildings stretch and bend like rubber. Patterns are repeated, possibly bleeding outside an object. He can also force his opponents to be separated through means like forcing the ground to move, causing the ground to open and reveal a bottomless pit, or simply making a wall appear between them. Such are examples of what he can do. All these are possible with OOC permission from relevant parties.
The barrier refreshes its durability once per post. Completely breaking the barrier will not cancel the effects of the chaos force, however. Additionally, he can negate a single spell, technique, or ability of equal rank or lower within his burst range. In doing so, he channels the chaos force and, with the appropriate timing, releases a special barrier of red chaos energy that transforms an ability into something else entirely. This can be a swarm of butterflies, gallons of water, or dust, so long as it is harmless in nature. All rules for negation apply.
While this technique persists, he recovers 5% of his maximum HP per post.〔 Enigma of Relativity 〕

The laws of the Chaos dimension can only be described as “weird”. For instance, the laws of gravity do not seem to be fixed, evident from the fact that people mirrored on this dimension can walk on any surface, even ceilings. One without the necessary exposure to the chaos force would have a skewed perspective, affecting their magics and abilities. Just another enigma that begs no immediate answer.

Their perspective becomes askew, which somewhat affects their magics and abilities, subjecting them to a 172% debuff to Spell Range. The gravitational laws of this domain are weird, which allows anyone within the dimension to walk on any surface, including ceilings.
As this is his domain, he can just as well make the gravitational laws fixed to an axis (downward, sideward, upward, etc.), potentially moving anyone regardless of whether they are allies or not. He can also make it so gravity is normal, however, allies can take advantage of this weird gravitational law, allowing them and only them to walk on walls and ceilings. All these are possible with OOC permission from relevant parties.
The barrier refreshes its durability once per post. Completely breaking the barrier will not cancel the effects of the chaos force, however. In addition, he is capable of reflecting a spell, technique, or ability back to its caster by taking advantage of this law. This usually manifests as a slope created from the ground or other materials with its own gravity, leading the spell back to its caster like those you’d see in cartoons.

One does not simply walk out of the Chaos dimension unharmed, which could all be as a result of cartoon violence. And one does not simply walk into an ultra realistic painting as well. The goings on within the domain is an enigma, and he can channel this weird power to inflict damage.
A glass-like fracture in space opens within this technique’s range to reveal the Chaos dimension as he tears open the protective barrier that keeps the chaos force at bay, after which an object or vehicle is launched/activated to attack his target/s. This could be a train that would ram his enemy/s, a cannon that fires on sight, or a missile that bursts into fireworks. Regardless of the form this takes, affected enemies take damage if this attack hits. When choosing to attack multiple targets this way, he may need to open multiple fractures, and each attack does not have to be the same.
In addition, he is afforded the ability to walk through very realistic paintings as if they were real places themselves, though doing so would lead him to the Chaos dimension. Should his pursuers elect to follow him, they would be met with a hard surface and a mild concussion. This is possible with OOC permission, and this ability is retroactive, taking effect even without this technique activated.
While this technique persists, he gains a 115% > 172% increase in technique durability.

Michael unleashes his psionic will on reality. A wave of telekinetic energy resembling fractured glass emanates from his center, accompanied by the reversed sound of breaking glass. This ability drags him and anyone he considers an ally and enemy to a parallel dimension where they may use spells and abilities to their heart’s content, while leaving innocent passersby unaffected. While nothing apparent happens immediately, however, anyone affected by the wave would then find themselves at the mercy of the chaotic reality in this domain.
He will then be able to “distort” reality within his expanded domain. Chairs become numerous and stoic structures bend and wiggle at his whims as if they were made of rubber. Details and patterns of buildings are repeated exponentially, and the fundamental laws of nature seem non-existent. The edge seemed out of reach as the farther they are from the epicenter, the farthest the edge of the area becomes, as if it was stretched out to infinity. Tiles move round and about and the ground raptures to reveal the blue abyss that seemed endless, and one misstep would inevitably lead to falling into the infinite abyss, though in reality you’d only fall in place a few meters down but still felt like you’re falling. Everything becomes distorted as if it was a fractured mirror in a kaleidoscope of madness. These are only some of the things that can and will happen within the domain, and once per post, he may alter the terrain to his whims and grant himself the greater advantage. Such is the nature of the chaos created by one of the elder gods, C’thulhu, and it is something Michael himself is immune against, allowing him to traverse the chaos-ridden reality without getting lost.
This ability is meant to trap specific enemies, manifesting as a dome of kaleidoscope glass while leaving innocent civilians unaffected. To a normal outsider, this ability is intangible and, without sensitive sensory abilities, imperceptible, that one can just move through it. Its inside appears to be normal. Spells and abilities, or a simple magic imbued limb, can interact with it from the outside and may break an opening, bearing witness to the chaos unfolding within his domain. Yet to one from the inside, the opening is far from reach due to the distortion of space. One would have to be careful, however, as it is very easy to be dragged into the influence of the domain. Any openings created by attacks and abilities would inevitably close up on the next post, replenishing the durability of the ability once per post. All creatures within the domain have their spells, combat arts, and movement negatively impacted, having their Spell Range, Technique Range, and Speed reduced by 57% each, up to 50% of their base values.
Successfully dispelling this ability reverts reality back to normal, as if nothing happened. Falling characters would eventually find themselves cushioned by warding winds and then delivered safely to the nearest surface, and debris caused by the wanton destruction of his enemies and allies are reverted back to normalcy.〔 Megiddo 〕

The apotheosis of his telekinetic ability, capable of destroying terrain and leveling structures with just as much as a flick of his wrists, as well as undoing reality without the protection of the Chaos Dimension. Thus, he appropriately named it ‘Megiddo’ due to the magnitude of damage he’s able to create. This ability manifests as a red telekinetic aura from all the psionic energy spilling from himself, as well as harsh billowing winds that die down briefly.
Once per post, he can unleash catastrophic telekinetic might against his opponents by conjuring a localized telekinetic pressure around a small area or concentrated on a specific target. This ability manifests as red, visible, and mild wind blowing towards a direction, usually downward, within his target’s vicinity, followed by an intense pressure created through telekinesis. This attack inflicts Single or AoE damage against all affected individuals, allies included (both can’t be used at the same time, it has to be either one of them taking effect). Using this effect in any other direction than down will cause it to drag unsecure clutter and debris, or push individuals away (this does not affect player characters, player NPCs, or event NPCs without prior consent from everyone involved), as well as resulting in damage to terrain (like craters, holes in walls, etc). Additionally, when this ability hits his target/s, the intense telekinetic pressure causes them to be immobilized.
The level of destruction he deals can range from mild to destructive, made possible with his ability to perfectly control pressure on an area. More destructive levels of attack may leave an impression when used against a small group of enemies or concentrated against a single individual. As a plot ability, casting this ability within the Chaos Dimension created with Domain Expansion - Chaos of R’lyeh’ affects the reality of the dimension somewhat.〔 Chaos Force 〕

By harnessing the otherworldly energies of the Chaos Dimension, Michael is able to borrow a portion of its influence and coat himself with an invisible dimensional barrier. Attacks that don't pierce through or outright damage the barrier makes it seem like he's not being affected at all; as if the attacks don't reach him. This phenomenon can be witnessed if one tries to touch him, only to find that their hand stops a few centimeters away from his skin. Additionally, while he is protected by the energies of the Chaos Dimension, he is also able to harness these energies and augment his psionic attacks and abilities by extending how far it can influence, increasing his own technique range by105%157%, effectively allowing him to reach his targets further.
Additionally, once per post, he can negate one offensive or detrimental ability and alter its ‘fact’ with a harmless one (i.e. turning a fireball into an explosion of confetti, or turning a beam into a cluster of butterflies). This requires him to pay the appropriate PSI cost proportional to the spell’s/technique’s cost. If it is a signature spell, PSI cost must be paid equivalent to its rank. This effect manifests as fractured glass blocking a spell before it shatters itself and the spell into something harmless.〔 Telekinesis 〕

Michael harnesses his basic but reliable and powerful telekinetic ability at a grander scale, which enables him to lift up structures and larger debris. At the casting of this technique, all unsecure non magical objects not worn or carried within his AoE range are blanketed with a visible psionic glow, which he can manipulate. With his control over his emotions, he can lift up multiple unoccupied large structures, or parts of these structures, no more than up to this technique’s maximum duration (he cannot affect player and event owned structures without prior consent). Once per post, he can perform the following actions:- He manipulates large sized debris no less than 5 feet within range which can be torn out from a structure, or multiple smaller debris in a swarm. He then fires it against multiple targets, with a minimum of one target up to a maximum of 12 targets, dealing damage if it hits.
- He sends one flying building or larger debris affected by his psionic power crashing down against a group of enemies, dealing AoE damage against all individuals within a small radius regardless of whether they are friendly or not.
Either one of these attacks can only be performed per post, and cannot use both at the same time.〔 Rage Aura 〕

An advanced ability that falls under Tactile Telekinesis, utilizing a Telekinetically Enhanced Condition that improves upon his current condition. Through the use of his psionic power, he is able to augment his strength by100%150%, which allows him to hit his opponents harder. In addition to this increase, he is capable of delivering a swift melee attack once per post while this ability persists, dealing melee damage if it hits.
Overflowing with strength, he can cause his melee attack to bypass enemy defenses, allowing it to pierce through enemy shields and armor. Using this effect reduces its base damage by 50%. Alternatively, by paying a PSI cost equivalent to the spell's MP cost, he can shatter an S-Rank or lower defensive spell/technique completely once per post with a melee attack while this technique is active (it can't destroy the armor of player characters, player owned NPCs, and event NPcs, unless permission is granted prior for plot purposes). If it is a signature spell/technique, ranked PSI cost must be paid.- He manipulates large sized debris no less than 5 feet within range which can be torn out from a structure, or multiple smaller debris in a swarm. He then fires it against multiple targets, with a minimum of one target up to a maximum of 12 targets, dealing damage if it hits.

By manipulating space to create two wormholes within his burst range with his psionic energy, Michael is able to create portals that he or everyone else can pass through. Practical applications for the ability include reflecting attacks and sending an ally near the front lines. When reflecting attacks, he must expend additional PSI equivalent to twice the spell's/technique's cost for the portal to accommodate the its power. If it is a signature spell/techniue, PSI cost must be paid equivalent to the spell's rank. In addition to this, the portal can only affect spells/abilities equivalent to or lower than its rank, and can only be done so once per post. He can also use this ability to send his opponents elsewhere by creating portals beneath them or have them fall infinitely.
Because this ability can move player characters, player NPCs, and event NPcs, OOC permission must be made prior, and using this in a PvP scenario requires consent from all participating players. He can make the portal big enough to allow more of his allies to pass through. As a plot ability, he is capable of creating wormholes to places he's already visited regardless of distance, though this would put a heavy strain on his mind.〔 Dimension Tilt 〕

Michael unleashes his psionic might on an area and manipulates the natural laws within this technique’s perimeter, manifesting as a wave of red telekinetic energy originating from himself. While this technique persists, Michael has free reign over the gravitational laws of the area and can freely alter the orientation of gravity within it - from downwards to sideways, and upwards to corners, or make it so anyone can stand and walk on any surface. This can vary from person to person within the area’s perimeter so long as there is a large enough surface or debris to stand and walk on, and thus, he cannot change the gravity’s orientation to shift upwards if there’s no solid ground. Such examples of applicable environments include cities, rooms, hallways, and forests, as well as the convoluted kaleidoscope of madness within the Chaos Dimension. Because this affects PCs and move them as a result, this ability can only be used if prior consent is acquired to affect player characters, player owned NPCS, and event NPCs.〔 Displace Dimensions 〕

While this technique persists, the perception of anyone within the perimeter becomes skewered as near becomes far, as if the environment is being stretched. This does not affect Michael, however. Offensive Variant An ability under Telekinesis. While this ability is active, Michael can utilize the elements around him through telekinetic force to attack his opponent or multiple opponents, with Earth and Air being the most prominent elements he can use to attack his opponent. He can use this technique to attack a single foe or multiple opponents:- Manipulating the available elements within this technique's range, Michael can concentrate his efforts and unleash a powerful attack, taking the form of a sturdy pillar rising from underneath a target after a brief tremor, or a strong gust of wind followed by a solid blast of air. These attacks may vary, but all involve raw primal force against a single target, dealing heavy damage if it hits.
- He can concentrate his efforts to attack multiple opponents simultaneously, manipulating the elements to attack specific opponents within range. These may take the form of aerial lances attempting to pierce through enemies, or sharp earthen shards erupting beneath after a brief tremor. These attacks may vary, but all involve attempts to pierce multiple targets at once, though this mode of offense deals moderate damage.
He can only use either modes of attacks per post, and he cannot use both at the same time. He is also capable of manipulating elemental spells cast by his enemies. By allowing himself to focus his psionic energy on these spells/techniques and paying a PSI cost equivalent to twice its cost, he can reflect a spell back towards themselves or towards another target. He can do so if the spell/technique enters within his burst technique range. If it is a signature spell/technique, PSI cost must be paid equivalent to its rank cost.
The only limitation to this ability is that he can only affect elements already present within his range, and he cannot generate his own element this way.〔 Elemental Telekinesis - Defend 〕

Defensive Variant An ability under Telekinesis. While this technique is active, Michael can utilize and mold the elements around him through telekinetic force to create defensive elemental barriers that would protect him or another target/s from enemy attack. The only limitation is that he can't generate his own element, unlike magic, and can only manipulate the elements already present around him. He can affect a single target and create a more durable defense, or to multiple targets up to a maximum of 10 targets, which can include himself. Using this ability this way cannot stack on the user. The barrier's durability can be refreshed one per post, or it can be moved towards other recipients. Only either defenses can be used once per post (he can't use the single target and multi target effects at the same time).〔 Telekinetic Feedback 〕

Michael can empower himself with his own psionic powers. Doing so grants himself a 70% increase in strength. Additionally, when he is hit by an ability/spell that renders him to be immobilized, he can pay PSI proportional to the spell/technique’s cost to nullify the effect and unleashes a powerful psionic surge from himself that raptures the ground and damages everyone within the technique’s radius as well as burn 5% HP of every creature hit, allies included. If the debuff afflicted upon him is that from a signature spell/technique, PSI cost must be paid equivalent to its rank cost. Those closer to him are more likely to be hit by this feedback than enemies farther from him.〔 Energy Conversion 〕

Michael can turn his psionic energy into other forms of energy, usually in the form of lightning and fire. While this spell persists, he augments the conversion of Potential Energy to Kinetic Energy on himself, allowing him to move more quickly and granting him a 70% increase to speed while this ability persists. In addition, he can create swift bolts of lightning and fire against a single target or against a group of targets, dealing heavy or moderate damage against a single enemy or against a group of enemies if it hits. He cannot use both modes of attack at the same post.
He can produce lightning and fire from his hands or feet, allowing him to use them for maneuverability.
