Description:
A long time ago, a warmongering lord made a deal with an ancient Fey, accepting its curse to gain immortality and supernatural strength, but at the cost of his freedom and a vow of eternal servitude to the Fey in question. The warmongering lord immediately took advantage of his newfound power and waged war upon war against his own kin, finding no equal until greed itself consumed the man whole. And like many who fall to the vices of murder and greed, Death comes to claim them; albeit immortal, the lord forgot a single pledge done to the Fey. His power and immortality would remain his as long as he left the Fey’s territory be. Yet, in his blinded state, the warmongering lord invaded the Fey’s lands, thinking himself above the ancient being after having amassed all his wealth. Little did the lord know that when faced with his benefactor, he would not be able to lift a single hand against him. The ancient Fey beheaded the lord, resurrecting him as a mindless thrall to do his every bidding until his body decayed, and cursed the man anew; rather than himself, his offspring would suffer his punishment instead. His sole, true weakness. Wrought with guilt, the lord begged the Fey to spare his offspring, offering his eternal servitude even beyond the grave, and to carry their burden still; a burden that should’ve been his from the start. The Fey agreed to the Lord’s terms with a new deal; all those born to his bloodline able to harness his power would join him as Dullahan thralls upon death.
Abilities
Manifest of Dullahan:
The Headless Knight holds power in its blood, one which it bestows upon its kin in the form of 3 extra signature spells, one for every magic the user possesses, as well as a permanent 100% buff to Spell Damage and Spell Durability. Additionally, the wielder of this lineage gains another 200% buff to Spell Speed.
Spectral Presence:
When the Dullahan initiates its hunt, it does not hunt alone. As such, it bestows a unique magic upon its progeny, so that they too shall never find themselves fighting alone. The user may create magic with the unique "Spectral", magic type. Magic of the "Spectral" type will have a spectral afterimage of the Dullahan manifest with them, its movements synchronized with those of its blood to lend its power to their attacks in their moment of need. Every attack or spell the wielder of this lineage makes will now have a ghastly afterimage in its wake that strengthens the user’s attacks, allowing for them to elevate their damage output as well as range through it. "Spectral" magic can utilize "Caster" type spells. The benefits of the “Spectral” magic type are listed below, and only apply to magic with the "Spectral" type.
- Solitary: +30% Base Spell Damage, +50% Spell Range & Spell Speed
- Primary: +25% Base Spell Damage, +45% Spell Range & Spell Speed
- Auxiliary: +15% Base Spell Damage, +30% Spell Range & Spell Speed
Soulbound Steed:
Being of the Dullahan’s blood means more than just possessing the qualities of one; its bonds, too, transfer to those of its line, allowing the wielder of this lineage to call upon the grand beast their forebearer once rode into battle. The user knows its name as if it has always been a part of them, and can summon it to the mortal plains to do their bidding. This steed acts as a bond pet with any of the user's "Spectral" type magics, and does not count towards the maximum number of combat pets one can bring into a thread. Additionally, its abilities only cost half the MP one would otherwise pay for them to be activated.

Headless Eyes
Dullahan’s progeny awaken their eyes rather early on in life; like their forebearer, they have no trouble seeing in the dark, and will never feel their eyesight thwarted by natural means. They can manifest a second head separated from their bodies in the form of a blazing pumpkin, through which they can perceive the world as if it were their very own eyes. As such, they gain a permanent 100% increase to their base Spell Range and base Spell Speed.
Fear Incarnate
For some unexplainable reason the Dullahan’s progeny will find themselves encountering many riches and lost items upon their journeys, seemingly left behind by their previous owners. The user gains a 100% increase in jewel rewards from jobs, or may deny this jewel increase to find an additional piece of equipment of equal value as a job reward instead. The grade of said item follows job reward regulations.
