Description:
An Abyss Slayer is a mage who has received their associated Slayer Magic, specifically a Lacrima, from a being that transcends the fabric of reality and existence, an entity commonly referred to as a Great Old One. This Lacrima, much like other Slayer Lacrimas, holds the power to destroy the Eldritch Beings that permeate through the thin membranes between realities and toy with the universe as they please, the user of such magic holding the might to obliterate the Eldritch and anything associated with it.
The Everwinter Abyss Slayer specifically is a Lacrima bestowed to Yurielle deFleur by a mysterious patron by the name of Azalith, the frozen marble of crystallized frost bringing the never-ending winds of winter to their penultimate form. The Slayer Magic born from this Lacrima allows the girl to control not only the aspects of winter, such as ice, snow, and frost, but also enables her to wield the elements of water, air, and darkness in all of their forms.
Yurielle, as opposed to her twin sister Yuliana, focuses on defensive use of magic, utilizing the powers at her disposal to protect herself and her sister while assaulting opponents with long-range attacks. The Everwinter Abyss Slayer also possesses the capabilities to easily destroy and permanently lay waste to large swaths of land with the elements at their disposal, which can produce disasters of truly breathtaking scale, Yurielle scrupulously abusing this to destroy whatever obstacle stands in her way.

Abyss Slayer Benefits:
Slayer magic overrides the possibility to get any benefits from other types of magic for the particular Slayer magic in question. Slayer magic is always Solitary Slayer and cannot use any other benefits alongside the Slayer benefit. Slayer magic grants the following benefits to the character who has it:- +50% passive increase to Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage.
- Greatly enhanced senses of Hearing, Sight, and Smell.
- Ability to Consume Magic of the same element as the Slayer Magic to regain MP as well as the Force Ability (See below).
- Abyss Slayer Magic deals doubled damage against any entity classed as being associated with or constituting an Eldritch Entity, associated with or constituting an Outer or Elder God, or associated with or constituting a Great / Great Old One.
- Abyss Slayers can consume the Neutral, Holy, and Unholy versions of their associated elements without any repercussions.
- Inherent Damage Resistance to their slayer element based on the rank of spell/ability as follows:
- 2 Ranks above Character: 0%
- 1 Rank above Character: 10%
- Same Rank as Character: 25%
- 1 Rank below Character: 35%
- 2 Ranks below character: 50%
Hybrid Force:
Hybrid Force can be activated/deactivated at will and anytime provided the user has at least 50% of their total magic power left.- Hybrid Force increases the power of the Slayer's Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage by 100% rather than just 50%.
- While Hybrid Force is active, the Abyss Slayer is surrounded by a cloak of deep darkness that appears like a tear in space, an infinite, black void that increases their base Spell Damage by 50%.
- While Hybrid Force is active spells cost no MP to cast.
- To maintain Hybrid Force, the user must spend 10% of their total MP per post. MP cannot be regained or regenerated while Hybrid Force is active. Once the user of force hits 0 MP or once they choose to cancel it Hybrid Force ends. If one hits 0 MP they suffer from the consequences of running out of MP as normal.
- +50% passive increase to Strength, Speed, and Spell Damage.
Unique Abilities:
- Perpetual Frost: The power of permafrost strengthens and protects the user, granting them a 60% increase to Spell Durability, as well as a counter-effect to immobilizations, which instead halve the user's base Movement Speed.
- God of Winter: Power is all that is necessary to change the world in one's own image, and the frozen winds of winter shall be the herald that brings about the change of times. The user's Spell Durability is increased by 60% and they regenerate 5% of their max HP once per post.
- Icestorm Witch: The storm yields to only unrelenting might. The user's Spell Range is increased by 60% and they regenerate 5% of their max HP once per post.
