Peace Patrol?! (Kyra, Gisen) Empty Peace Patrol?! (Kyra, Gisen)

Felidae City was quite a lovely settlement and the purple eyed angel had to admit that it ranked pretty high up on her list of favourite locations. She had never visited Joya before now but it had honestly always been a country that the black haired woman had wished to. The locals were so cheerful and full of life with even the powerful dark mage having to smile at just how eager to please they seemed to be. They were incredibly carefree and Medeia made a mental note to herself that she would have to return one day to experience the place more thoroughly. Cat girls, bunny girls, dog girls, there were animal human hybrids all over the place and the filthy minded woman could not help but find her mind occasionally drifting. She could have gone undercover and used one of her more feline like forms but secrecy was not the aim of the day. No, as much as she wished that her reason for being here was simply for a holiday, the actual reason for was a far more dull reason.

The war between Pergrande and Bellum had come to an end apparently, a war that she herself had fought in alongside the lovely Tiisha and her brother. She had fought for Pergrande, both for financial reasons and because she simply could not stand the priests of Bellum. They were insulting to a being such as herself, a creature the heavens who had nothing but contempt for her own kin. These priests believed that the gods were beings of purity but Medeia knew better than anyone else that they were anything but. The ironic part for Medeia was that these believers spent so long praying and worshipping those who lived above the clouds but the truth was that those beings they worshipped were now residing in Hell, many sent there by the witch herself. Slaughtering the people of Bellum had been a great pleasure indeed for her and should the opportunity arise again, she would more than gladly finish them off. Every single last man, woman and child if possible. There was only one being born above who should be worshipped and that was her.

So, with hostilities being finished, the two nations had decided to sign a treaty in a neutral county and there was no more appropriate place for that than here. Her role? To patrol the city and make sure that there were no reasons for the treaty not to be signed or more accurately, to put anyone in their place if they tried to disturb the peace. Normally, she would have been the first to have caused an issue in such a place but the money was good and more appealing to her, there was always the chance that she could swipe one of the lovely cat girls who called the city home. Her eyes were always on the lookout and her gaze was consistently moving as she and her companion moved through the bustling streets.

Yes, she was not alone today and Medeia had to try fairly hard to keep her fluffy haired mentee close. The streets were absolutely heaving and she imagined that it would not take all that much to intimidate Kyra. Still, the dark haired angel believed that it would be good training for her young flower and would hopefully help her to master her other side, as well as the various other mental barriers that her adorable guildmate was suffering from.

“Stay close, Flower.” She said, having to speak rather loudly due to the bustling crowd. “Would not want you to get lost now.” Given the size of the place, that would be a pretty easy task.

Joya was such a wondrous country and having been here was such a new experience for the twins. Peering about in a crowd among something as close to being the same as the two elementals had been. "Maybe when we get Mom back, we could come back out here and show her this place." The shorter haired twin proposed, her eyes and head wandering around while her sister held her by the wrist, gently waving them through the crowd. ”And you say this because of what? The flavored carrot stand? They only had ones that taste like other vegetables anyway.” The other twin replied, slipping between person after person until she spotted a hole in the crowd to the side and gave a light yank. It didn’t mean much considering the weight the earth bunnies had been each, however they did their best to know how to toss the other around as practice.

Swinging into this rare hole in the crowd, the pair could finally pause to take a breather and sit back after they had been searching and patrolling about for work. "Nah, not that reason. A nice second, but just look at the atom peel! Every person here.. major league at least is like us!" Looking at her sister with a slightly annoyed stare, the longer haired twin let out a small sigh and shook her head. ”You mean atmosphere and major-… well whatever I got the second one. But I do see what you mean. Might be better than her trying to go back to work.” Folding her arms at her chest, Sapphire shrugged and leaned up against the wall they stood behind, watching the people as they passed. Everyone seemed so calm and happy, it set a mood of enjoyment between the pair — one more than the other.

The pair continued to just casually people watch while they enjoyed their meals and break from patrolling when they had both seemed to have spotted a woman among the crowd. Neither bunny girl looked to the other before practically simultaneously tossing the last bite of the carrot into their mouths and quickly chewing then swallowing before making their approach. What made her stand out aside from being a “non animal eared being” among the majority? The girl with her looked very uncomfortable with being there. Was she being trailed against her will? "Hey, you there." Amber called out, stepping in front of the pair. The other bunny girl had slipped into the fold of the crowd, lost among them from their sight while her eyes peered to the pair just in case her sister needed the back up. She wasn’t the type to play this sort of approach, however she was prepared if it came to that.

Kyra had been dragged along to Joya alongside Medeia. She had not participated in the war itself, but now she had been asked to help her angelic mentor along with a peace patrol, trying to do her best to help out the situation, as weak as she was. It would take a little while, but eventually she had managed to build up the courage to at least meet peoples' eyes as she trailed  Medeia. Her fingers brushed against the light fabric of her mentor's clothes, trying not to be lost. She was no child, she was not afraid of being lost in an unfamiliar place, but... she feared Medeia's wrath. If Kyra had gone missing, there was no telling what sort of havoc the angel would cause to the city. At least, that was Kyra's thoughts. She needed to keep other people safe. She failed to do so in the past, and now was her chance to succeed in proving herself as not useless. She needed to help innocent people, and if that meant quelling Medeia's angelic wrath, it would be what she needed to do.

She wandered around the city, her eyes darting from place to place. There were so many people with animalistic features. Some merely bore a tail and ears, just bearing the resemblance of a human saving those few features. Others looked more animal than human, fur upon their face and sporting claws and manes. She had seen some Joyans before, Ozzie often used some of the herbs that the country exported in his cooking, but being in the city of Joyans, in this melting pot of cultures, everything was so different.

She was startled by a voice popping up. Her hearing had been so muffled in her thoughts that she did not hear what the woman said, nor if Medeia responded, but there was a bunny eared girl standing in front of Medeia, looking slightly cross in Kyra's own opinion.

"Well I'll be damned!" a familiar, lighthearted voice cooed. "Figures that you'd be here, Med!" Tegan introduced herself once more to Medeia by turning her and planting her face right in the angel's chest. "So soft..." She quickly got up out of Medeia's cleavage and smiled at Kyra. "And you have friends! Kyra, I'm guessing that you're just here because Medeia dragged you along?" She pouted, flicking Medeia's forehead. "I told you to stop dragging Kyra everywhere with you!" She sighed and turned towards the bunny girl. A silence lingered. "Not what I think of when I think of bunny girls, but-"

"T-Tegan!" Kyra blurted out, embarrassed. "S-sorry, L-Lady Medeia. S-sorry, ma'am. M-my sister is... v-very forwards at t-times. A-and for that matter, w-what are you doing here?"

Tegan raised an eyebrow. "The whole guild got hired to help protect the city. Kairi's around here somewhere. Probably actually leading our guild members for doing things."

Kyra looked down, a light smile coming across her face. "So careless..." she whispered.

"I can still hear you. Dragon Slayer Lacrima, remember?"

Kyra yelped and covered her mouth as Tegan laughed. Maybe...maybe things would not be so bad. She still had some suspicions about the bunny eared girl in front of them, but at the very least, with both Medeia and Tegan around, Kyra would be safe. Maybe Kyra could even escape from Medeia. Perhaps the bunny eared girl could help bring her to safety. But, that would mean knowing her secret. Kyra's mind raced with thoughts as the conversations continued on, not knowing if she would be helpful in the instance that something happened.

Things had moved rather quickly all of a sudden and Medeia had simply fallen silent as Tegan behaved as she usually did. To have the lovely pink haired woman’s head in her chest was hardly a new sensation for the angel and she simply tutted and shook her head with a smile. Kyra’s sister never showed any restraint but that was honestly a reason why Medeia was so fond of Tegan. The two got on incredibly well and she was the one who had arranged for Kyra to return to Errings Rising after her disappearance in the first place, as unusual as that might seem. There was an agreement in place and the raven haired woman took her half of the deal quite seriously. She would protect and train dear Kyra with all of her might. The girl was improving although it was a slow process but Medeia was hopeful that one day, she would find the self confidence and strength that she was so sorely lacking, even if the witch had to drag it out, kicking and screaming. “Dear Tegan, I hope you never change.” She commented simply, a chuckle escaping her lips, before adding. “This is all part of Kyra’s training. You know that.” Gently, she would then fluff her mentee’s hair.

Turning her focus back to the bunny girl who had introduced herself before Tegan’s interruption, she would tilt her head and reply. “Hello there, my dear. Is there something that I can help you with? As you are no doubt already aware, I am Medeia and these are two of the Velkhomme sisters, Kyra and Tegan.” She did not mention the guild that herself and Kyra were in but there was no real need for her to do so, for one glance down at her stomach, easily visible due to her Desertian clothing, would reveal a black coloured guild mark. The bunny girl was rather sweet in appearance although judging from the boldness in which she had approached, there was clearly more to her than that. Not many people had the audacity to do so these days, such was the aura that the black haired witch naturally gave off. “If you are in trouble and are in need of aid, I am sure that we can help you. The last thing that needs to happen today is for trouble to rear its ugly head.” She had to smile inwardly at her own comment. When was the last time that she had actually prevented trouble rather than cause it?

Both sisters seemed to be rather confused in their own positions at what was occurring right now. Watching as she confronted this ebony haired woman only to be interrupted by a sudden burst of character from the crowd did little to fully phase the bunny girls stance. Though watching her practically motorboat the woman was a tad bit uncomfortable, it did nothing to stop her from wondering what was going on. If anything, it made her wonder if she was just being thrown off her game by a group working in some kind of odd but possibly effective ruse. Whatever the case may have been, the third and more silent of the trio did in fact seem to be very reluctant to be here. Though the similarity in their appearance led her to believe they were sisters and possibly a mutual friend or possibly their parent? It was honestly hard to tell.

Giving little care to the comment made towards her outward, rabbit like appearance, she had still continued to glare at Medeia while Sapphire still wove her way silently through the crowds until she made her way free of them. There she found a magazine among the racks in promotion of “cultural news” where she saw the same woman’s face on the cover! Grabbing it up, Sapphire thumbed through and quickly read through the interview until a few key words caught her eye. She remembered Silvia mentioning the meeting of Medeia and their mother from the elementals own mouth and though she’d never put the name out there… it was now. But none of that truly began to set her off until she saw the guild symbol. With that lastly put, the snow bunny took off into the crowd with magazine in hand and used every bit of technique she had to put herself right behind the witch. In her left hand held a dagger made of pure white ice. The feeling of cold and fear oozing from both the weapon and herself as she stared down the woman from behind. Even the two around them and the surrounding people could feel this building sense of fear welling in them, enough to move away from the group.

"What in the world are you doing!? We had a plan!" The other bunny girl chimed in, surprised by her more cool headed sisters actions. That was… until the magazine was dropped on the ground without so much as a word. Then two and two hit. ”Why don’t you be a good little witch, and tell us where you’re keeping her.” The tone itself carried a weight to it as if the magic itself was blended in to enact a sense of greater fear where the blade might not work. Though, frankly she had no clue if it would work at all.
