Job Title: To Hunt a Vampire; I - First Things First
    Rank: B
Player Requirements: At least 1 B-Ranked mage or equivalent. 8,000 Words minimum. At least 5 monster rolls.
Job Requirements: Find the book containing information on the vampire breed and get it back to the the organization safely.
Job Location: House of Lost Souls
Job Description: A small and relatively old league of monster hunters have requested outside help in order to deal with a new threat. Some new breed of vampire has been picking off hunters. The group have no idea where these vampires are nesting nor how to even fight them. Traditional methods such as garlic charms and steak launches have been ineffective and their encyclopedia containing all the knowledge they've collected on the monsters has no information on what has been killing the hunters. What few hunters that have survived the attacks have described a beast of a vampire which is much stronger and faster than their typical counterparts. The leader has dubbed this a new breed. She will tell you that they know of a place which probably contains information on these vampires - a house that a late and extremely crafty hunter once used as a base of operations. For some reason, there is a barrier around the house that only allows for beings with magical energy to pass through and as this group of hunters is exclusively made up of magic-less warriors, they needed you.
    Enemies:
    Weak: Strange whispers
What was that sound? Was it the house? Was it your imagination? Either way, every time you hear these whispers from who knows what in a language you've never heard of, you'll get a bit more anxious, paranoid, angry, scared, or any other combination of mentally stressed.

    Normal: A Ghost
Your presence in this house of Lost Souls in conjunction with your magical energy attracts spirits. While these ghosts are physically harmless, you cannot harm and if they touch you they will drain you of 10% of your MP. Your best option is to run unless you have some kind of silver weapon.

Strong: Vampire [Rolling Boss also makes you encounter the vampire. If you can only encounter this once]
You have found the book. Unfortunately you also found a vampire. Now you realize why there was a magical barrier surrounding the house: it was to keep out the vampire hunters. This vampire guards the codex which sits behind the guard on top of an altar within a room which looks like a small chapel. Without the knowledge contained in the book, you cannot harm the vampire, though it can and will try to harm you. Not only is its physical abilities triple that of a B-Rank mage, it also has powerful magic which is best described as a blend between darkness and blood. It can turn invisible, shape shift between its regular form and a swarm of bats, and grow sharp claws that inflict A-Rank damage. You need to grab that book and leave as fast as you can! It will only chase you as far as the magical barrier outside the cabin.

    Spells:
Blood Leech - The vampire points its arm out at his target and fires a beam of blood towards them. If it hits, the target will lose 20 HP and the vampire will permanently gain 25% to its physical abilities.

Shadow Snare - The vampire stomps on the ground and a wave of darkness is sent towards a single target. If the wave hits then the target will be immobilized for one post. Only targets on the floor may be affected.

Bloody Downpour - The vampire will raise both its hands towards the ceiling and will cause it to rain down needles of blood. These do 20 HP of damage per post and last 4 posts. Can be blocked by any kind of shielding spell.

Reward: 15,000 Jewels each and access to "To Hunt a Vampire; II - Ritual Blades"

Again? Another strange letter, promising of hunting and conquest! It was rather weird to keep getting such invitations, but this one seemed different. It was much more artistic, the calligraphy on point. The parchment itself was very fine and of a higher quality than the previous summons. There was even a hint of cologne or perfume that stained this gourmet parcel. Even Scarlette, the red headed vixen of the West Fiore Trading Company, grew suspicious over this supposed job sent to Jaeger, and she was usually all too excited to give that bum a job request. While she came off a tad aggressive and judgemental with her critics, there was no real malice behind her words. The contents of the letter were fairly similar, some group or person is requesting help in defeating a foe known as a Vampire, a creature of legends!

    “Dear Magical Patron,

Word of your previous hunts have circulated the network and we’d like to extend a similar challenge and a request for help. Our particular group has a need for a mage and hunter to track down and take care of a vampire problem that our own hunters have failed at. Normally, we are very capable but a new breed of Vampire has come about and it's much stronger and more cunning than its predecessors. One of the few to survive the hunt told us of a House of Lost Souls deep within the cursed lands. Perhaps this is the nest, but we’d like to hire you to find more information and possibly deal with the situation.

    Good Luck,
Geraldine T. Harrison, Leader of The Hunters”

Jaeger, the undead aliened mage, just stared at the document handed to him by the previously mentioned secretary. It was a rather normal request really, go kill this thing for us and we’ll pay you. The letter also described the general location, which was in the north eastern portion of the country, close to the spooky forest but further east. The mage knew his way, for the most part, having been there a few times before for other jobs, the mage shouldn’t have much trouble. His blonde hair draped over as if he were sticking his head out a window to see all the other kids out playing and he stuck inside waiting for his chance. Well , now’s his chance! BE FREE JAEGER, GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY. And by this is go out and do something other than working on a dock 24/7.

“What’s the worst that can happen, right Nava?”

The man said to his glorious pet, and quite gigantic, Red Panda. The beast simply tilted his head in wonder, what could go wrong?

The duo got up and stretched, it was time to get a boat to the cursed lands of Fiore. Their first stop would be Hargeon, which was usually the port town he landed in. Aside from the vampire part, this job was looking to be an average day, perhaps next time he’ll mix it up a bit. Sail for a smaller port around the coast of Fiore.

Hunting was always part of the Vanhellsing legacy.... from the time of the founding father Abraham Vanhellsing, the Vanhellsing house specified in hunting the hell spawns that stalk the nights. Lycans & Nosferatus more colloquially known as Werewolves and Vampires, were the the creatures of the night that were hunted down by the Vanhellsing family.

Natalia, being of Abrahams descent was raised to be a huntress. Although Natalia was forced to use her abilities and experience to further her uncles objectives, in her heart Natalia's purpose remained true to the families found father. To defend and to protect. So when Natalia had the opportunity to hunt a vampire once again, she did not hesitate.

An old league of monster hunters reached out to house Vanhellsing had sent a letter requesting for aid.  Apparently a new threat had emerged a new breed of blood suckers. From the intel provided, traditional means were ineffective against these breed of vampires, which piqued Natalia's interest. Her cold golden eyes reread the details of the letter while consulting the library of monster hunting knowledge within her mind.

"Master... we have arrived at the location" V called out from the drivers seat as he maneuvered the black Bentley to the side of the road. As soon as the car came to a stop V got out of the car to open the door for his mistress. "All the items you requested are all in the trunk." he spoke as he took his masters hand and helped exit luxurious vehicle. He then opened the trunk of the car to reveal the aforementioned items.

The items were stored in a large case. A few potions of healing for any wounded civilians or hunters Natalia may meet during the mission. The two items that caught Natalia's eyes were a long sword resting in its scabbard, next top the blade was a pistol a colt 1911 a silver handgun chambered with purified silver baptized in holy water. Natalia took the hand gun loaded a magazine. She racked the slide as the cold metal weapon clicked. She flicked the safety on before holstering the weapon to the holster hidden in her black over coat. She slid the rest of the magazines into the slots of her belt. She then picked up the blade and drew the blade from its scabbard.

The long sword was silver in its color and make, beautiful intricate engravings. It's enchantments allowed the blade to be as strong if not stronger than traditional tempered steel. The sword was a symbol of the Vanhellsing family.... it was the very weapon that Abraham Vanhellsing used to defeat and elder vampire. The blade was so pure in its color it was almost as if the blade emitted a soft glow in the darkness of the night. This blade was known in the Vanhellsing family as the Burial Blade. A weapon made not shed blood, but weapon to sever the bonds of lycanthropy and vampirism. A weapon made to grant monsters rest and peace...

Natalia stared at her reflection on the blade for a few seconds before placing it respectfully back in its sheath. "V... stay the darkness... only reveal yourself when I call for you..." Natalia spoke her orders calmly as she she placed the potions in a small pocket dimension just in case of an emergency. She then took a pack of cigarettes to take out a smoke.

V smiled sweetly to his master as he lit the cigarette for her. "As you wish my master... do be careful..." He said as he vanished into the darkness. Natalia took a deep breath taking in the nicotine before exhaling a stream of smoke. "Keep an eye out for my my sweets..." Natalia called out into the darkness, a black emaciated hound like creature materialized from the darkness. The creature had no eyes, its skin black, its limbs equally lanky but strong like its long tail. The creature opened to reveal its toothy maw and viper like tongue. The creature didn't howl or bark, but the sound it made was soft eerie human like whisper. Every time one would blink the whispers grew in number, and before one would notice the creature was not one but a many in number....  To a normal human being the creatures would have been straight out of one nightmares, yet Natalia gazed at the demonic hounds like creature as if it was a puppy of sorts.

She flicked her wrist in a shooing manner to dismiss her pets. The eldritch hounds whispers grew loud before immediately silencing as they all vanished into the darkness. Natalia then continued towards the abandoned base to hunt down the foul creature of the night. Who or what ever this new breed of vampires was, one thing was for sure.... tonight the vampire will know there are far more terrifying things in the dark.... tonight the vampire would know there are fates worse than a stake in ones heart.....

SWOOSH. Goes the wind as the mighty water vessel sails across the sea to the mainland of Fiore. Gusts through the clothy sails to every which way, speeding the boat up or slowing it down. The waves roared and clashed against the boards of the ship. CRASH. It sounded like they wouldn’t make it to land! The crew panicked and scurried their way to their positions, readying for the storm of their life. High above, the clouds were as dark as could be, but yet let light through as if it had just rained.  In the distance, a giant sea monster rampaged against another giant creature, both capable of standing on the oceans floor and still tower above the tallest feature in the region. Truely, it was a day to be alive! Viewing such a magnificent battle as a watery grave was to surely take you.

Just then, the scene dramatically changed. It was sunny, with slight wind helping the sailors glide across the waters. On the top deck was a man and his giant red panda play fighting. Everything above was just the work of the imagination. A scene being acted out by Jaeger and Nava, as the rest of the nearby crew look on in bewilderment. The mage played the part of the sea serpent, screeching and trying to spew forth beams of energy; while the beast played the opposite roll, fighting and protecting all those around him from the dangerous deeds of the reptile. It was just something to pass the time as they made their way from Tolgalen to Hargeon.

After a few hours of this, the S.S. Gotchapon made port and was able to unload their cargo and the two weirdos enacting hell on the deck. Jaeger paid the rest of his fee, if owed, and made his way into town! As he did, he began to think of his prey. Vampires, fiends of legends that often take to the night and uck the blood oftheir victims. What were they weak against? The most common knowledge would tell him wooden stakes and garlic… or was it onion? To be safe, he got dozens of cloves of each. The wooden stakes part was easy enough with his magic, so no need to pester the local woodsman for supply.  With this, him and Nava set off once again up towards their destination.

Through the spooky forest, to grandmother's house they go! And as they did, the two scarfed down the bits of onion and garlic as  well as rubbing it all over themselves. This will help keep them off the undead alien mage and the magically mutated red panda. Now they were travelling by foot, so it took them a couple of days to arrive. They two would also stop in the towns to get more onions and garlic to further stave off their targets. Eventually, they came upon the first of doom. A place Jaeger was contemplating on making a secret base in, deep under the soil. There he would have been able to run any experiments, do whatever he wanted.  But, it just wasn’t meant to be. Once inside, he could see some of the aftermath of his fight with the wraith, his mecha suit of awesomeness wasn’t really all that subtle.

Even further in, the path to the house was becoming clearer. Branches on either side parting and curling away as if it feared the ground they would otherwise hang over. On the other side of a naturally formed wall of tree, vine, and stone, was the manor  and in front was a blackened vehicle with a suited red head  between it and the house. Once he could get his nose away from the copious amount  of garlic and onion, he could smell something familiar about them. It was a recent scent, one that came from Pandora’s new friend that had joined their magical, wizarding team. Natalia. Oh, what a joyous occasion it was! Jaeger was now able to spend a little more time with his second favorite redhead, the first being Pandora of course.

    Strolling up from behind.
“Ah, Natalia! How lovely it is to see you again!”

The mage and his pet reeked of garlic and onion.

“You received an invitation to hunt some vampires as well? This is a most wonderful surprise and looking radiant as always.”

He definitely had a more carefree nature and attitude, which would seem to be his default state of existence. Upon approach, he would have a friendly smile, ignoring his smell for the time being. His long, blonde hair bouncing against his back with each step he took.

    “How have you been?”

Of course, before going into certain doom, pleasantries needed to be exchanged. It would be rude of him not to do so with such a fine woman of this caliber! Also, just rude in general. From the large manor before them, windows are abound. Almost seemingly two per room that faces out, but hard to tell the layout from the outside. From the top most window, if anyone were to pay enough attention could barely notice a figure looking out but blink and the figure moves from view. Leaving but a slight sway to the currents.

And just like that, life flashed before his eyes like a bolt of lightning striking the earth in front of him. She was gone and Jaeger was standing there alone with Nava, the house of horror stretching out to the clouds above as perspective mutated in some sort of cartoonish manor. Was the redheaded woman real or make believe? Where would she have gone if the former, into the house for the hunt or perhaps to another vantage point. Was it needed though? The woman had already sent in her scouts… either way, she was gone.  Likely never there to begin with, just a hallucination brought on by whatever is going on here in the woods.

Looking back to the haunted mansion, which was aptly in the Spooky Woods, was hemorrhaging smoke, fog, and other mysterious vapor. It was all curious, why would vampires, that would likely want to remain hidden, make their place of residence so obviously stereotypical, it just screams something wrong! Clearly, they have no connections to an interior or exterior decorator, for shame. Nonetheless, his job was to barrel in and take care of the undead scourge that inhabits this place, not to criticize their design choices.

“Well Nava.. I guess it’s time for us to move in and hunt the stalkers. You ready?”

With a motion of throwing his hands over his head and resting them in his hair on the backside, the duo strolled in. They passed through the spot where the illusionary Natalia was standing and waiting. The vehicle tracks that had been there from her car faded into the dirt below. Nothing of her remained but the memory of his second favorite redhead. Inside the manor, it was dark, shadows clouded every nook and cranny of the building. The occasional lit candle dotted the walls or desk, just giving the inhabitants the faintest amount of illumination. Not that they likely needed it, vampires were able to see in the dark, were they not?

Each step Jaeger took seemed to cause the floor boards to moan like a sickly child.  Just a few minutes of the sound made it clear, whoever built this place was very mediocre at their job. Couldn't they have gotten better nails or something?  Or maybe some wood that would warp in the depths of fog. Honestly, it’s a piss poor job, the vampires should be upset about this. You know what, after this job, JAEGER will hire out some crews and come fix this place up. There shouldn't be a reason why he can’t fix it up. Hell, he could move his super secret base to this house, it’ll be great.  He’ll have a lot more room to experiment and have a better bedroom while he’s out there.

“Hmmm, once done boy, we’ll take over this place. This room can be the kitchen, get all the nice food. The room over there can be the living room, we can host house guests! And under the stairs, we can make a secret entrance into our secret areas. It’ll be great. We can add this to the list of our awesome places like the Zoo.”

Post by Nekros 10th December 2021, 9:27 am

Planning, all the planning is a head of the young and spectacular mage. With each room he’d go into, there was some sort of monologue about where he’d put this and that. From a kitchen to a living room to even a small bathroom; it's not like he was getting ahead of himself, right? Not like there were forces of darkness within the house, slowly edging their way closer to the currently oblivious magic wielder. Upon entering the second floor of the manor, quiet whispers erupted from all directions, mumbling and trying to be spooky. It was a well played attempt, if he had been some random teenager investigating the house, Jaeger would surely have a fright. However, he’s lived quite the life, full of horrors and joys. So instead of taking the clear plot point of effort, the mage spoke back and tried to have a conversation with these whispers.

Spoiler alert, it didn’t go well.

The distant whispers didn’t really recognize his banter, just kept up with their own spooky chanting. It was something about him being food or being trapped now, all a bunch of bologna if you asked Jaeger. The man kept going through the rooms like he was a part of a house tour. Eventually, opening one of the doors on the second floor, there was a figure sitting on some old and musty bed. It looked unclothed and being the embarrassed little bean he was, he apologized and shut the door. A moment passed before

    “Wait a minute…”

The man reopened the door to a ghost just sitting on the bed and just staring at the mage. It was an awkward moment between a spirit like being, having not seen any physical creature in however many years, and the undead alien mage known as Jaeger. With a few blinks, the magic user simply and slowly closed the door, keeping eye contact with the ghost the whole time. Nava and Jaeger moved on to a different part of the house, it was best to not disturb the spirit anymore. Having said that, the specter had its own agenda and gilded its way out of the room and behind Jaeger. The previously awkward stare had now morphed into a horror scene. It was angry that someone was roaming the halls and gave it no snacks. With this turn of events, the duo made a run for it, scooby doo and shaggy style.

The trickery of this meddlesome ghost! Jaeger, being the upstanding mage and such that he is, agreed to leave it be; and yet, here the specter is following him down the hallway. It’s face cringed and contorted into the obvious horror scene that this house demanded. Given his own hellish experiences and background, the spirit wasn’t that effective at its job. His eyes squinted and stared at it once more as his legs moved him down the dusty corridor.

“Oi, you can’t fool me, ghost. I can see right through you.”

The spirit was taken back! In all its undeath and afterlife living, not a single soul had hurt it so much as this. Clearly, it wasn’t a fan of the highest and best form of comedy, Puns. Its form shifted and wracked in pain. The edges flickering with etherealness as it was losing control of itself little by little. This was it, his chance to continue uncontested, he needed to quickly spin another pun.

“You know, without the horror…. thing. You’re quite BOO-tiful.”

His own pose had changed to a more confident fella. His face stamped with closed eyes and a smug smile. The index finger and thumb of his right hand rests on his chin as if he had flirted with the most beautiful woman.  However, the ghost did not react in a similar fashion to those women, and by that, tried to beat the mage for his corniness. It looked at him for a moment, halting the pain of fading out of existence to just stare blankly at him. One second passed, two seconds passed, four, then twelve, until she finally had the wreckoning of his unlife time. If it were a show, the whole scene and home would be shaking as she vibrates with such intensity.

“Girl, you should really chill and hop into a boo-ble bath.”

The ghost couldn't take it, the puns were so bad that even an ethereal being couldn’t withstand the barrage of corny and cringe. Jaeger had done the pose again, but shifted himself to the opposite side, using his left index finger and thumb to rest on his chin. The lady specter screeched in pain before she exploded into ethereal dust particles. Every bit of her essence was sent flying. If one could casually see the ethereal plane, you would see her essence covered every corner of the house.

“Well, I guess that takes care of that. It's a shame, she’d have made a great Ghoulfriend.”

The house moaned in pain itself with that one. However, it was time he moved on before the spirit reconstructed herself to assault the mage once again.

Post by Nekros 28th May 2022, 2:29 pm

The house screamed in horror as the puns echoed throughout. As if the wooden and brick structure had a personality and a humorless one at that. Nava showed a similar discontent with  the jokes, having been around Jaeger for a good chunk of their lives. DEspite that, it dealt mental damage none could understand. The two shifted further up into the mansion, carefully making sure to step on each creaky floorboard, alerting all to his presence. If a live lacrima vision audience, they’d likely have a very deadpan expression from this poor comedic motion.

Returning to the scene, Jaeger and the panda fraud searched room after room, occasionally finding another spirit to shoo away with his charm. However, arriving on the top most floor, he came to the room where he had seen a figure in a window. Could it be… a legendary vampire that the invitation spoke about? They were in a dark forest, so his coffin and living residence didnt have to be conformed into  the basement like all the fictional ones in storys and adventure tales.

“Well Nava… this is it. Make or break. Now remember not to get too close to its mouth, it might have bat breath.”

From the otherside of the door, you could hear a sigh and moan of exasperation. Crashing and smashing followed with a comment.

“Oh come on, that was so bad. How could those failed hunters send someone as infuriating as you here?”

The door quickly opened to show a vampire, standing, disappointed, and confused. He was dressed up, as if he were some noble of a bygone era of Fiore's history. He was scowling with a hatred most intense.

“You repugnant little shit, using the worst form of comedy inside these walls. I hate it. You are the absolute worst.

And for this grievous act against me, you will be executed!”

With a lunge of hatred, brimming with the intensity of a thousand suns, the vampire took the initiative to strike.

Post by Nekros 4th July 2022, 10:14 am

The vampire, in all his wealth and nobility, was nothing more than a savage beast. Worst form of comedy? What does he know, puns are comedy gold! Everyone with a great sense of humor knows this as an undeniable fact. This very insult has earned Jaegers ire and retaliation! But what would be a good solution to this problem? More puns would anger and wound him, buty would they finish the creature off? Likely not, but would be a great start. The mage took a step back, watching the agile lunge for his throat and prepared for the pun of a lifetime.

“I know your kind hates peaches.. But how about a necktarine instead?”

With the end of the punchline, he shifted the left side of his neck out a bit as he prepared a surprise in his right hand. The face of the vampire contorted in EMOTIONAL DAAAMAGE as the pun reached his pointed ears, but it didn't deter the attack. When the undead beast reached for the witty man of class, he was met with a hand to the chest. A half second later, a large explosion propelled the beast back to the other side of the room. The walls shook for a moment, but not destroyed like one would expect of a large combustion.

“You’ve got quite the house here.”

Looking around at the sturdiness of the home.

“But, with all that wealth, you are still too easy to play jokes on, sucker.”

The vampire wiggle and writhed in pain on top of broken furniture.  It couldn't be helped, ones greatest weakness being used against it. Some would think sun, garlic, or crosses would be the thing to use, but never underestimate the power of humor. However, it didnt keep him for long, the blast merely forced the creature to the other side of the room. Whatever damage he could have taken was either healed or did nearly nothing.

“Hmm, looks like I’ll need to bring out the big garlic-uns for this one.”

Post by Nekros 31st July 2022, 8:37 am

Angry and enraged, the vampire was up and hissing with as much spittle and hatred as he could. Not only was he constantly hounded by hunters, by now he has this turd in his home making terrible puns at his expense. Truely, it was a terrible life for this creature. What’s more, he can’t even leave this dingy place! His only social interactions are the ones mentioned above. Honestly, thinking about it as the time slowly passed by, Jaeger felt bad for him. However, despite this, there wasn’t much to be done but to continue with his quest. His feelings won’t overbite the job at hand!

While he was in mid mental monologue to himself about the tragedy of this poor vampire, the beast had leaped into action and latched onto the mages neck. Its fangs sank into the fleshy flesh that covered the meaty innards of this…. Alien thing. Woefully, the vampire lord twisted himself backwards in wrenching pain. It expected to find pure, human blood, living blood. However, what it found was something foreign and something that tasted like death. It had never tasted anything so foul!

“AAAHHHHGGGHGHGH, WHAT ARE YOU, YOU FOOL?! WHY DO YOU TASTE LIKE SUCH DEATH?!?!”

His hands were wrapped around its own throat. Jaeger rubbed his neck, specifically the place where he was bitten. How rude, does this beast not know what kind of diseases he can spread by just saliva and bodily fluids?!

“Yo, that’s so wrong on so many levels. For one, I don’t have a Fang-tasy for this sort of thing. AND TWO, who are you to hiss at me for having undead blood in the body. YOU ARE ALSO UNDEAD.”

The vampire is taken back by this response.

“I at least look undead! You just look like you need some sun! AAaaccck. Disgusting!”

“Yeah? Well when I want a bite to eat, I don’t go around latching onto people's neks.Jeez, no manners either. Just went straight for my throat while I was having some thoughts, sympathetic thoughts for you by the way. Also, do you know how many diseases can be transferred via your weird ichor spit?!”

The vampires hands went down. They were now in an argument rather than a fight.

“WHAT??!?! “You came into my home to HUNT me! You sent an explosion int my face that put me into my furniture! THE GUY WHO MADE THAT IS LONG SINCE DEAD! I can’t just replace that! Who am I gonna find to make more all the way out here? HMMM?

And what are you worried about, we’re both undead! Any disease that I could possibly carry wont infect or work on you anyway!”

Jaeger scoffs and is himself taken back, but the vampire did have a point on that.

B-rank Job: To hunt a Vampire I: First Things First [Solo] Empty Re: B-rank Job: To hunt a Vampire I: First Things First [Solo]

Post by Nekros 14th August 2022, 12:26 pm

The Vampire made sense, the mage did come into his home and start  trouble with him and his spirit guests. Was Jaeger the bad guy?  It was starting to seem that way. As far as the well dressed mage knew, he was only hunting him down for the simple fact that he is a vampire. The hunters guild never gave him any sort of details on these creatures' exploits. It was getting all the more suspicious as time went on.

“Well.. uh… you do have a point there… on both things.”

However this might look, he was being paid for a job. He was hired and on professionalism, he has to finish up here or do all he can for the moment. Anything beyond that will have to be dealt  with the vampire hunters that contracted him. Things like increased pay or morality discussions can wait until then.

“I do apologize…. But unfortunately I do have a contract to fulfill. Existences like ours… can sometimes be complicated  and have some grave consequences.”

The vampire gave him a low groan with the last pun…. At least it was a decent one.

“I curse you and those damn hunters. If i ever get out…”

“Shhhhh, it’ll be okay. It’ll. Be. Okay. It’ll be all over sooooooooooooooooon.”

And with this, he nodded to his pet for him to leave the room. Once gone, them age shut the door and turned his head to the vampire, who was confused. His stomach started rumbling, visibly wiggling like waves in a storm. It moved to his throat and from a smile, opened up and bellowed as much molten lead as he could toward the undead blood sucker. It spewed and covered everything in sight, even clogging the edges of the door so it didn seep out either. Soon, they were ankle deep in the stuff. The vampire, was struggling with it. The heat and thickness of the lead…. It was proving to be a lot. Being scorched from one end and dragged down on the other.

    “WHAT?! This… is.. How.”

Despite this, the vampire… was still only taking minimal damage or even healing from it. It still wasnt enough, there must be a trick that he doesn't know to deal with these creatures. So he pondered and clamped off the spout of molten metal.

“Well, this isn’t going as planned.

This has been great. Thank you for having me over for a visit, I really enjoyed it. Learned a lot. But uh…. I think i’ve overstayed my welcome.”

And with that, he rushed the door open the best he could through the slowly cooling metal and looked to the giant red panda.

“Welp, time to go buddy. Out the window with us!”

He then hopped onto the back of Nava and they bolted for the nearest hallway window. The large beast leaped into the air, curled himself and Jaeger into a ball and slammed his way through the window. The glass itself broke and gave way, but as soon as they passed through, everything reformed back into a perfectly normal window. Looking back, Jaeger can see the vampire standing in the window, scowling and upset. The mage waved and started running off into the forest.
