✧ "Good evening, and thank you for tuning in to .733 Ishgar's Instigation News Network- I am your host, Zoe Dunleavy, and whew do we have a few things to talk about, don't we? It seems as though there have been a few sightings across Fiore of strange, hostile entities that resemble that of shadow elementals. Though they have not proven to be targeting individual cities, a few have been witnessed attacking wandering mages. There have not been any fatalities noted as of yet, though the recorded locations of these strange creatures are the Mysterious Canyon, around the Desert Village, and around the Sky Tower. Having been vanquished by the mages that they have challenged, the level of threat is deemed to be minor, though mages of guilds should keep an eye out for time-sensitive jobs relating to potential new sightings. However, as for lighter news, it is the birthday of-"
The rose-colored iLac that resided within the grasp of the idol would cut out of the news source as she would close its window, allowing it to shimmer away into a blank screen of nothingness. Adjusting her gaze to marvel at her surroundings, the imagery of an endless expanse of cherry blossom trees would coat the horizon- the party of five had been walking the border of Sakuramori and the land that had separated it from Hosenka. Diamandis would walk delicately through the bundles of tall grass that declared this area as unkempt, an oversized sweater's long sleeves dragging through the greens with each step they would near closer to their destination. They would walk in silence; the projection of the high-pitched voice of one of the many news platforms in Ishgar would speak about the shades, and it was more than likely that the sighting of the creature in the Mysterious Canyon would be about her fight against the hellfire shade worm. The interdimensional war had wavered out of the home soil of Chrysalis into the world of Earthland, and in the delicate crystalline mind of the gemstone queen, it would be her duty to protect both of these realms from the destruction that these entities were capable of. Her father's hatred for his pink-haired daughter was the reason that he was taking his anger out on the innocents amongst the homelands of the ex-guild master. It was disgusting just how much one man's anger could manifest into something more, it was vile.
"We are lucky that invasions are only occurring within the crystalline dimension and that of Earthland's, it seems as if Godfrey is only able to gain the ability to manifest into the realms relating to this planet," the predecessor to the gemstone throne would speak as she would lead the advancement of the group near the edge of the forest, "The factors relating to his existence upon this plane of dimensional realities... I can confidently say that I believe he is functioning from somewhere here in Ishgar, whether that may be in his own domains within the shadows or somewhere hidden." Gripping the hilt of her massive claymore that would float against her back, the diamond of Stellavera would near closer and closer off of the route to what appeared to be a massive cataclysm forming a ravine, which would have to be thousands of feet deep and a few miles long. A glow would manifest at the bottom of the hole in the earth, which would look to twinkle in a luminescent pink just as the crystal upon Diamandis' forehead- she would quickly approach this to marvel at its luminosity. To the one that once donned a crown of queendom within the realm of crystals and gemstones, she felt just as angry as she felt committed to getting rid of the terrible aspects of the current reigning's father. She had witnessed these things ever since he started doing them when she was in her first guild, where the two had met- Stellavera was like an adopted mother to the summoner turned slayer. It was hard to not let all hell reign loose on those that challenged the royalty of roses, as she was so inherently protective of that poor, pure-hearted girl.
"I'm just glad that I have all of you helping me out up there, my lovely diamonds~! The battle my father wishes to fight isn't going to be easy for him- Chrysalis has been around for unfathomable amounts of time," the demon slayer would joyously speak as she would fly upwards to marvel down at the full extent of the gaping landmass, "but damn the shades, look how pretty this ravine is! I can even see some formations of pure crystal down there that withstood the meteor blast." Taking downward to the gentle winds that gusted through the cataclysm, the flying pink diamond would soon realize that some of the lower parts of the devastating space rock still remained intact within what looked to be that of a large body of water. "This was the meteorite that passed through the seventh sector a few days ago, right? Over by the waterfalls of rose quartz and the tiger's eye village," the pink-haired idol would drift farther into the cavern abyss as her eyes would light up in excitement, stopping right above the layer of water in a hovering state, "this is what happens when meteorites come in contact with an underwater lake, it became infused with it- Stellavera, come look~!" It was as if the liquid that was once pure water of the underground turned into a glowing rose-colored liquid of stellar proportions, illuminated by the pulsating pink meteorite that melded with its oceanic core. The color was reminiscent of the gemstone that rested upon the forehead of Desirée- it seemed to almost resonate with its luster, bowing down to the current reigning queen of this realm's atmospheric dimension of rocks and crystalline properties.
"Stellavera, you know of the stronghold that resides within the sixth sector, the one developed in lush green plants and emerald crystals? Well," the girl would look up at the cascading golden lights of her dearest friend, "a stronghold similar to the one we have installed there would function well within this ravine, don't you think? With some work, I think we could even install a warp pad to travel between the realms here- and we can make underground castles just like we have back home, and other buildings too! Maybe one day it could be the home of the new crystal swan- but oh, how I digress~! What do you think? I think, either way, we will need a base of operations relating to what we have going on if we are making our return to Earthland, after all." Her eyes would switch into that of a stunning rose-gold- it was not rare for the girl of rosy gemstones and diamonds to dream of the future and the limitless potential of her magic. But one thing was for certain- she missed the flying ship known to the world as “Crystalli,” and dreamed of creating another similar wonder of the world, just like she did all of those years ago. Within her brain would manifest the concept of a stronghold just like the one of the forests of the crystalline dimension- it had been a while since she worked on something like that, but for some reason, her magic felt extra abundant on this day. The nature of her magic was otherworldly; similar magic was used to create the holy lands of the realm she ruled over as queen, and though she had not used her holy crystalline powers outside of contributing to her father’s war effort, she felt determined.
“Oh, I could definitely see something like that- and it seems as though the stellar aspects of the meteorite are flowing outward quite prevalently,” the mentor of the dreamy girl would softly speak as she would begin to manifest pyrite and holy golden bismuth crystals that would spread across the area, lighting it up little by little with each small fragment of her holy magic, “but you’re right about the translocator, my Queen! It seems as though the holy aura the meteorite withstood by passing through our realm left quite an impact on its structure, I’m sure we would be able to produce one, even if it were small.. but I recall it taking the emerald and adventurine facets years to complete delicately carving out the mountainside, but that may have been because of the thickness of the limestone.. hm.”
"Is that a challenge~? ♡" the girl of pink gemstones would confidently speak whilst the crystal upon her forehead would begin to shine brightly- a magical circle would appear before her in addition to this, consisting of brilliant shades of pink and white. What would be the production of her ability to manifest and weave fragments of holy crystals and rose petals, a giant record player would form levitating beside her as she would advance higher within the ravine. The ethereal energies coursing through her soul and ethernano felt extremely vibrant today- it felt just as it did when she was a guild master way back then, it felt utterly magical. Out of the pocket dimension within her bag, she would remove a dark purple clear vinyl which appeared to glow an ultraviolet gold. It was Worker Man by Patra, one of the songs that Diamandis would play when she was getting ready for something big. Allowing the white fluffy poncho that coated her body from the darkness of the lower sectors of the ravine, her guild mark of the Silver Wolf would be visible in addition to the rest of her body that lurked in the darkness. The ravine was nearly completely lit up with holy lights of gemstone magic, granted to the crystalline queens with the structures of their crowns resonating with their gemstone marks. Playing softly beside her as she would inspect the sides of the rough terrain, her eyes would sparkle the brightest of golds and crystalline luster.
Opening more magical circles around her body that would delicately float around her midst, the floating gemstone lights would appear to all turn a magnificent shade of pink, resonating with the bright glow that would appear from her forehead. The winds would pick up within the landmark as well- her accompanying group would bolt from the queen's side to the top of the cataclysm as fast as they could. They knew what was coming with that many magical circles and such a great amount of focus on one area. Stretching out her left hand from her side as if she were reaching for something, the pink-haired girl's fingers would twiddle as the magical circles would all appear to line up in front of her arm. Focusing on a set area that would function as the grand hall of legends, a giant royal corridor consisting of statues of those that she cared the most about within Earthland's domains. The girl turned crystalline divinity would burst a giant array of holy lights and sharp rose quartz crystals toward the side of the ravine's wall that was her target. Each hit of crystal and light would barrel through the stone and drill deeper and deeper to make a giant gaping hole; this would be the basis of the building process, but oh, how there would be so much more. Silently working her way through small parts of the ravine that all would have a certain purpose and function within the home of royalty, similar to the inner workings of the grand building of the crystalline queen court. A small hum would come from her lips as she would fly around and burst gaping holes almost endlessly- it was to the tune and beat of the song that was playing over and over again on repeat, keeping up alongside its sorceress as she would construct the Stronghold of Roses.
"Well, would you look at her go! That's the glow I remember from all those years ago," the crystal queen of golds would marvel upon the girl as she would advance from setting the cavern structures to the construction of the walls and decoration. It was the fun part, which was her favorite part of constructing the Crystalli; her magic allowed for the creation of works of art that came from the brilliant glow of her heart and gem, and with that, the solidification and condensing of crystalline formations to form normal-looking walls of different architectural styles would manifest. Alongside her three companions of bio-luminosity and wolvendom, Diamandis Stellavera had found herself upon a large picnic blanket. It was now sunset, nearly a day later within human time, but the girl of rose-colored hair had not appeared to even take one break. While she was a bit sweaty, she still felt great, comfortable as ever within the thinner layers of a small pink and white romper and her hair down. Each gaping hole that resided within the ravine would appear delicately sculpted almost as if they would be molds for house-like structures. Manifesting formations of crystals to creep up the sides of the rock formations as she would weave them into different colors, they would resemble ancient, magnificent walls of architecture that would have been sculpted by the gods themselves. It was becoming a castle even more brilliant in appearance than the most ancient of fine buildings in the realm of Chrysalis; slowly it would become more and more complete, time passing as quickly as it does when one is absorbed in such a creative process.
Though the animalistic beings that accompanied the slayer would sleep through the nighttime as their queen would continue to work on her extensive project, her dearest friend would sit upon the top and continue to maneuver her glowing golden crystals to assist the girl in the vision category. Diamandis' every thought would come alive as she would sculpt each individual spire that would hold up another unique structure as intricately as she could; what would appear to be magnificent holy pink roses would creep up the sides of many of the columns and walls as quickly as they would manifest into normal architecture. The grand hall of legends had already been completed within the deepest parts of the holes she had created, consisting of an immensely long hallway of upcoming statues residing within the expanse of an indoor garden of magical roses. It was as if an ancient castle of the gods was buried underground by stone, connected by beautiful formations of bridges, both in the form of wavering magical lights and bridges made of what mimicked royal white bricked bridges of heaven's deities- even though she had not expected these blessings to come as quickly as she wished for, she created this base with a direction that pushed her farther into the arts of intricate details. That this would serve as a stronghold dedicated to the strongest heroes of Earthland within the eyes of the gemstone queen, and would only be able to be accessed by such- those that would be pushed toward preserving the light in the world of Earthland and the domains of Ishgar, whether that would be individuals she would meet along the way once again or the crystals bound to her soul by the crown of a million diamonds.
On the moonrise of the third night, the crystalline mage of lovely hearts would descend upon one of the tallest bridges that would connect one of the upper cavern buildings to a staircase down one of the other sides of the ravine- the ethereal stronghold would appear to be completed in its glory, glistening lights of bright gold upon its sides within the shadow of the night. Just as detailed as it was thought out upon, Diamandis would collapse onto the stones of the bridge as she would meet its surface. Even though she was drained from the ultimate use of her magical power, the lustrous gemstone that rested in-between her pink bangs would glisten tremendously. She felt amazing, basking within the soft rays of the moonlight as she would finally rest from birthing her ultimate creation, blossoming within her heart right next to the old flying ship that used to be her everything. The only things left would be the installation of her realm's translocator and the establishment of the rose shield, something that would keep the meteor's ravine inaccessible to anyone that would wish ill will upon the wellness granted by the woman of diamonds. Her eyes would shift into the prismatic reflection of a deep azure as her floaty friends would descend upon the staircase that led down from where they had once had their picnic, advancing farther and farther until they would sit next to the stronghold's creator.
"Heh.. you shoulda never told me how long it took those facets to get that stronghold mined out, Stellavera," Desirée would delicately speak in-between coughs as she would roll onto her side, burying the side of her head into the fluffy puffs of her lovely mire wolf companion, rose, "oh, how I want drinks~". Her crystalline record player would circle around the violet vinyl over and over again just as it did days prior; even though the gemstone of her soul did not require sleep anymore, she felt like she needed it after that. Though even though she was tired, she couldn't drift off like she usually could- perhaps it was the butterflies in her stomach, excited for the future, or perhaps gas. Or both. The golden crystalline girl would pat her mentee's head as she would lay there retaining the magical energy that she had used prior.
"It looks to me like this place has got everything, Desirée. Don't tell me you're trying to go off the grid, are you?" she would laugh with the pink-haired idol as she would rest her head in her lap, "well if you're not going to sleep, your throne is in there~". Pointing downward to the entrance of the grand corridor of statues and roses, the crystalline beings would gaze in its direction. But they would not get up from their rest on the bridge of the ravine's crown jewel- it felt just as comfortable on the ground looking up at the stars as it did sleeping in the bed back home in the crystal realm's castles. She was glad she was visiting Earthland again and making a name for herself once more- even though she didn't realize it, she missed it more than anything. And she finally was getting it back.
