I’ll be right there, close to the sun
While Takumi could not deny he was a social person, there was a simple beauty to isolating oneself from others from time to time. It was a gorgeous day, really, and he was grateful for some time to himself. He loved his children dearly, but the chaos that often unfolded in a household with two magical toddlers could be exhausting.
Everybody needed a day off sometimes. Having decided a day of relaxation was exactly what he needed after having done nothing but jobs lately, he’d ended up wandering down to the park for a calm afternoon, away from most other people. It was probably the best decision he could have made, since the park was more or less deserted during a weekday afternoon when most people were working.
It was beautiful, and as of right now Takumi had the little area he was in all to himself. Well, mostly. There were a few birds about, and he found himself communicating with a few as they passed, little joyful greetings that pulled a smile onto pink lips. Really, this place was gorgeous, and boasted such a beautiful variety of both flowers and small wildlife. He couldn’t ask for a better afternoon off.
