Sometimes it might be worthwhile to try to get someone to do something now so he can fight them before they die, but he won’t allow himself to be unduly rushed.
  
  
• Rigid Rules: With chaos comes confusion and room to take and do as he pleases. Aki likes that much better than situations which are clear and easy to decipher.
  
  
• Technology: Although he isn’t hugely old fashioned and has kept up with the times, Aki never found lacrima technology to be of much interest. There’s a lot of magical technology that could be fascinating, but unfortunately, his distaste for it in general prevents him from becoming interested.
  

Motivations:

• The Fever: Aki seeks a world in which he can live as he pleases with what makes him happy, without being touched by any Fever related corruption. While he understands that this is a pipe fantasy, that does not prevent him from working toward it. Even if the journey is endless, there is progress to be made.
  
  
• Gaining Power: In the end, Aki will always have himself to rely on. He needs his own abilities, then, to be as powerful as possible.
  
  
• Food: As cold and disgruntled as he might act on the outside, Aki can be charmed when it comes to the possibility of a meal. The easiest way to attract his attention on a surface level is to offer a reward in the form of something edible.
  

Fears:

• Losing His Mind: Previously, Aki has seen numerous people lose their minds and sense of self. It’s one of the things a long life will do to you; Aki is determined not to get lost in his memories and experiences. He wants to maintain his identity and ability to think.
  
  
• Gods: Despite his insistence that no deity can help humanity, only people themselves, Aki has a healthy fear of divine entities. While he may not respect them wholly, he understands that their power must be considered.
  
  
• Needles: Also courtesy of a few unpleasant encounters with needles in his history, Aki has a trepidation of them, as a rule. He refuses to be poked or prodded.
