Description:
Syn has her principles, which she lives by and would die by. Equally, she has her magic. Although a mage, she considers herself human first and does not believe that her magic is necessarily part of herself as a human. Rather, it is important to her and her identity as a person, as if the distinction makes any difference to anyone besides her.
An important part of her magic is her bond with Wish, a sentient spirit blade who functions as both a companion and often a teacher. Although Syn was first hesitant to share her goals and desires with Wish, they now understand each other on a deep enough level to perform simultaneous magic. By channeling together or sometimes separately, they are able to outperform opponents and add flexibility to combat.
Her magic is not intrinsically associated with one element or another. On the contrary, Syn's magic changes colors depending on its connection to one element. Visually, it is possible to differentiate the hues and thus, the type of the attack. For example, red streaks of magic surrounding Wish would indicate Wish is casting a fire based spell. Elements are shown as Electric, Fire, Water, Poison, Wind, and Holy. All of these streaks do incorporate light, though, and it is impossible for Syn to incorporate the element of darkness, shade, shadow, etc.
Unique Abilities:
● Improved Instinct (C-Rank) ● Syn refines her strikes and melee attacks, allowing her access to a state of heightened senses in which she pinpoints enemy weaknesses and her own lacking areas. By activating Improved Instinct, Syn's mana costs are reduced by 50% of their initial values for max user rank duration. Her sharp instincts also include widened visual field, increased auditory senses, or other information collecting or survival capabilities that are based off of her proprioception or perception. During the duration of Improved Instinct, Syn unlocks one instantaneous teleport used max once per post within user rank burst range.
● Compelling Connection (B-Rank) ● The inseparable bond between Wish and Syn allows Syn to regenerate 5% maximum mana per post. Regardless of which of the above effects takes place, Syn's MP is increased by a user rank passive buff.

This ability is the result of hours of training. As the most natural spell in her arsenal, it is intended to be cast quickly and effortlessly and is unadapted to work on the bodies of others. Syn can only cast it on herself and she is unable to deal damage with the spell outside of her own melee attacks to damage an opponent. Result: buff increased by half its value.
Description:
Syn's signature ability. Usage shows she is preparing for combat scenarios, either to flee, stand her ground, or attack and advance. In order to accomplish any of these, her movement speed is increased. Her melee attacks are empowered during this period, dealing more melee damage from this spell. The maximum targets for this spell are equal to the spell's max duration.

Usage of this ability deteriorates the stability of Syn's mental state, making it taxing to use. She avoids it for that reason, but when putting Psychological Divide into practice, she requires a period afterwards to recuperate before it is even possible to try again. A cooldown period of half the duration is imposed. Furthermore, the innate dealings of this ability mean it can only be used by Syn, not on others. Since the teleport is instant, this spell's speed is reduced completely. Result: buff by half of its value.
Description:
Syn's magic explodes inside of her body as a result of psychological trauma being reawakened. Her strength is increased in a fight response, and she gains the ability to teleport once per post within range.

In order to use this ability, Syn has to make physical contact with the target and is not able to utilize it from a distance. However, because of the extra power she can input into a target with the conduit of touch, the shield strength is increased by half its amount.
Description:
Syn protects herself or another target with a malleable shield whose intention is to interrupt enemy attacks and then counteract. She can put the shield on herself or any ally within reaching distance. After the shield is put up, Syn's single next instance of melee damage from an attack will deal additional melee damage from this ability up until the duration's end. The shield restores itself to full at the start of every post.

Description:
A light heal that affects an AoE. Syn's magic encircles a space and protects any friendly entities within using supportive magic. The blessing continuously regenerates a small amount of HP based on their maximum, and also heals a set amount every post. Syn can choose the location of the AoE heal every post; by default it will remain the same as the last unless she moves it. Allies are only healed by the set amount once per post if they are inside of the heal. Using her observational skills, Syn can glean information of how a spell is cast and reproduce it during Recovery using her own mana as a power source. The stipulations of multiplication apply, such as only able to duplicate a spell of the same rank or lower.

Description:
Syn uses Malaise to inspire a surge of power within herself. Using this newfound magic, she can perform an attack within melee range that deals this spell's damage as melee damage rather than spell damage. When it lands this attack inflicts further maximum health percentage damage per post it hits due to its burn effect on a target. The form of this attack is flexible, but often Syn relies on a thrust, thus giving this ability its name. During the duration of Axis Thrust her strength is increased. The maximum targets for this spell are equal to the spell's max duration.

Description:
Her melee attacks impart an effect called Detained where the target is immobilized after she hits them; when hit they also are drained of a portion of their maximum mana every post they are hit. All of the effects of immobilization according to the rules will follow, there is a lot, such as how Syn would have to hit them again in order to immobilize a target. To spread the detainment, Syn's movement speed is buffed up during the ability duration. The maximum targets for this spell are equal to the spell's max duration.

Description:
Syn uses Locket's power to boost her ocular senses. While Syn is under the effects of Envision, she can obtain small flashes of her opponent's future moves using their body language and the tensing of their muscles, thanks to her heightened observation skills. Thus her melee damage's potency is higher. In addition, Syn can choose whether her melee attack deals this spell's damage rather than melee damage. The initial spell damage of a hit chosen to be spell damage is lesser, but due to a Damage over Time effect, the target continues to take the same damage every post for the rest of the duration. (The foresight effect is plot only and requires OOC permission.) This spell can only strike targets equal to the spells max duration per post.

Description:
Revise is the embodiment of free spirit. Syn cannot accept her fate nor that of her reality, leaving her to take matters into her own hands. For the duration, she can redirect or negate one opponent's spell or effect as long as she pays equal mana and follows all the rules regarding them. In order to more successfully survive attacks and live to revise her destiny, Syn's physical and magical resistance are increased by half each, and she gains a small bonus to her movement speed.
