It's a Hard Knock Life

So here's the short and skinny.

I've been fairly absent already because of other real life matters. But all of them pale in comparison to this most recent change. It has been discovered that my father is suffering from lewy body dementia, which is unfortunately an aggressive and unforgiving disease. It's a hard pill to swallow and while I'm handling it as best I can, it has sapped my energy and muse.

I'm going to need some time to adjust. I'm not sure how long it'll take but certainly a bit. I'm going to start at a month and see what happens from there.

This applies to all my characters who I am far too tired to post at.

I wish you and your family all the strength and courage in the world, man. Life has a way of finding our weak points, and digging into them, but it only wins when we give in. Fight on!

I wanted to formerly thank you all for your well wishes and thoughts. They really meant a lot. That and having to focus on rehearsals kept me from spiraling into a depression so know that they really hit the spot and helped me out.

With that said, I am tentatively easing up on my hiatus. I'm hoping either this weekend or next week to get some posting done.
