Normally he's a great fisherman and crafter since his most common product is eel skin wallets that turn into handbags when you rub them. They call him crazy because he has a notoriously terrible memory, but he's been going on about that damn mermaid for the past year! He's extremely detailed in his explanation, and the landmarks where he found her are pretty far out at sea, but they are in-fact real. It takes two whole days to get out there, but he swears on all the cash in his wallet that she's there and he wants your help to catch her. What he ultimately wants with her is up to you,

A 100 foot long serpentine beast from the depths. It's large enough to crush the ship in its coils if you let it. The creature takes 5x hits of A Rank to take down, and can spray scalding hot water all over the deck.
Enemy Rank: Strong - Bigger Sea Monster
Assume this one is female considering as it's twice as big as normal Sea Monsters and is followed by 15 baby sea monsters. The babies are only 20 feet long, but they'll try to rip the ship apart one board at a time. Their mother with try to just rip the ship apart. She can use a lightning element breath attack like a dragon, consumes lightning element magic like dragons, and is immune to attacks that hit her face (it's armoured). Takes 7x hits of A Rank to down it, and 2x hits of A Rank for the babies.
Enemy Rank: Strong - Cthulhuish
A 300 foot tall monster with an octopus for a head, crab claws for hands, and a serious case of snaggletooth. He'll use any and every spell you can think of as though he'd existed for hundreds of years and knows all the spells in the world (he has, and he does). It takes 25x hits of A Rank to down him.
Enemy Rank: Strong - The Mermaid
After fighting many a sea beast you come across the beautiful lady herself... and it's just a cactus with seaweed on it that's washed up on the rocks. Upon making it back, the crazy old man then mentions he may or may not have been smoking some devil's lettuce while he was out here last time... Either way, word will get to a shipmaster about your triple monster kill and he'll show some gratitude to you for taking them down and making his life easier.
