You can appreciate the LIGHT,
But first you must know DARKNESS.
His first time in Motorcity and it was exactly what he had expected. Rowan took in a deep breath as she wan his fingers through his hair. He needed to keep calm, after all, that was why he was here. He had taken his steps away from the dark side of magic, the blood and the unnecessary killing, finding it no longer satisfying to him. Of course he had told this to his partner and friend, the one person who he shared a bond with in their fight against the unfairness of the world, but what he got in response was not what he was expecting. Rather than an understanding friend who would remind of him what they were fighting for and against, he received a cold look and a talk of power and wealth, getting rid of those who stood in the way.
He needed none of that. He didn't start on his dark path for power or wealth, but for something else. Something that he had lost along the way, something that he could no longer remember, coated in blood of the people that he had killed.
Gritting his teeth the white haired mage tried to wipe his mind of the thoughts that were plaguing his brain. But that was why he was here, taking a step away from the dark path, doing his best to, he didn't know, find the light? Whatever that meant. That would come later, he first needed to control his temper. The loud cars and vehicles that raced around him with horns blaring in every direction with people screaming at each other? Yeah, that's where he'd start. If he could manage to not try to rip someone's head off then he wou-
A loud screech came from his side as a car merely stopped in time not to hit him. What the hell? The walking sign was lit for him to cross the street, he was following the law. Who was this motherf**ker to- "What the hell do you think you're doing assh*le! I almost hit you cause you weren't looking where you were f*cking going! Maybe get your head out of your ass and pay attention you moron!"
Lightning flickered in his eyes as Rowan looked at the man who was yelling at him. Hold it in. Hold it in. Hold it- "Who the f*ck-!"
In a flash of light Rowan was on the man, picking him up by his shirt and shoving him against his own car. "What were you going to say?" His words seethed from his lips like black smoke, the spark that he was trying to calm down igniting as the mad in front of him began to swear at him.
