♤ Treading upon the bumpy stone road that wound around the hilly landscape, a small cart coated in various plant and fungal life would seemingly roll down the way as if it were being pulled by nothingness- if one were to look closely at the plants, one would be able to spot a small leaf hammock holding a nature spirit, which looked extremely engrossed in their lacrima-powered gaming device. On their way to the city of Rose Garden, the Princess and her companion of royal contracts were nearing the prevalent sound of running water, which was expected with the research that Isidore had gathered of their whereabouts; they were nearing the village preceding their next stop, which was known to sit next to a giant river. Due to it being about three or four in the afternoon, Demetria found herself sleeping in from a long night of walking and searching for glowing mushrooms, bundled up in blankets inside of her traveling cart while cuddling a giant stuffed bear.
"..Isidore, how far are we from the Rose Garden~?" the healing witch would groggily mumble while sliding open a small stained-glass window in the shape of a mushroom, "good morning, too!" While navigating inside of a moving traveling cart was hard for some mages due to strange magical side effects, it was natural for the green-haired elf, being that she had been traveling alongside the nature spirit for nearly five years. It became apparent to Demetria that they were close to entering the gates of the village as the scent of fresh fish wafted into the cart, alongside the sound of commerce- slipping on a pair of brown slippers and a long, decadent cloak to match, the doors of the cart would slowly slip open and allow light to shine in, illuminating a small berth and various means of storage and decor.
Nearing what the pair thought was a temporary stop in their travels, the traveling medic cart would pull over into a small clearing of grass next to the gate of the town, coming to a complete stop. Upon stepping into the grass, the natural surroundings would appear to gain a faint glimmer of magical energy, which would barely be noticeable to the human eye; it was as if the Princess's magical energy was slowly pouring outward into her surroundings in the form of a magical mist, promoting dewdrops to form on the blades of grass as if it was sunrise. Stretching to alleviate the small ache she had felt due to magical strain, Demetria would notice that down the road it was as if people were running around piles upon piles of dirty... clothes? While strange, a similar method of washing was utilized in her hometown in a much more organized fashion, which made her feel as though nothing stood out too much about the River Village.
Pulling out a small bag that was hanging from the side of the cart, the mage of nature would pull out what appeared to be a small knit-bag full of cheese and plant-based crackers. Her first meal of the day, she would find herself drifting down into the tiny clearing of grass to sit and eat, followed in a similar movement of Isidore; there was no better way to anticipate the arrival to one's destination than stopping at one final place to refresh on the way to a city one has never been to before, especially to eat cheese!
