Bacchus was a kind, generous, charitable man who stood out as a beacon among his peers. He seemingly appeared out of nowhere as a poor individual who was gifted in magic. He was welcomed in Bellum due to their infatuation with magical prowess and Bacchus' latent magical ability seeming to go in line. He quickly established a business that flourished, the development of specialized lacrimas. Profits rose and within a few years, the du Wolff name was synonymous with influence and wealth. Despite his aggressive business acumen, Bacchus was considered a down-to-earth individual who spoke kindly and respectfully to everyone he met. He was also well known among the poorer class of Bellum, as he generously donated a tremendous amount of his wealth regularly. He had gained such power that, at one point before his untimely death, he was being considered as the next Cardinal of Prosperity, thrusting the du Wolff family into royal territory. He had been a huge proponent for building alliances with Earthland, wishing to dispose of past grudges and move forward in unity. Though he never said otherwise in public, he was not a huge believer in Arcanos, though he encouraged his family to follow whatever their hearts believed in. He unfortunately passed away thirty seven years ago, year 854, due to sickness.

A cold, calculating woman, Beatrix lived up to the role of matriarch with authoritative pleasure. Where Bacchus was the kindly, caring individual, Beatrix took up the role of teacher and staunch administrator, pushing her family to be the best of the best. As the du Wolff family started to gain fame, Beatrix was always prepared to take up the role of leader within organizations and groups, so as to better her and Bacchus' position. There was a desire for power and placement that was rarely overt, Beatrix herself proclaiming that she wanted the du Wolff to help lead Bellum to greatness. But there was a cruelty in her that was obvious when it came to Themesycia. The adopted daughter was despised by her adoptive mother and it was only at the behest of her father that she received proper attention and education. As the years waned on, Beatrix became more and more unhinged, seeming to break completely into bitter hate once Bacchus passed and Themesycia took up the role of duchess. Her anger boiled over when Themesycia came home pregnant, forcing the soon-to-be-mother to keep herself hidden until the child was born. She despite Vandrad just as much as she did her mother and it's unclear when she started abusing the boy. But when she murdered Vandrad's caretaker, Yuna, young Vandrad snapped and vaporized her, killing her for good.

Charismatic, charming and debonair; Simon has been called a lot of flowery words but nothing truly gives him the respect he deserves. The eldest of the du Wolff children, at least the ones that Beatrix produced, Simon was always a fun loving child who enjoyed adventures and playing than studying. His mother strictly kept him in line on his schoolwork while his father set him free and let him spread his wings. When he was around seven years old, Bacchus returned with Themesycia, who easily molded into the close relationship that Simon and Everance already had. It became clear as he grew that Simon had the silver tongue that came with royal diplomacy but lacked the patience to take part in it. It was a joint decision by Bacchus and Simon that Themesycia eventually be the one to take up the dukedom once Bacchus was ready to retire. He is unabashedly kind and considerate, outgoing to all and welcoming to everyone he meets. He has a reputation as a lady's man, one half of the notorious "du Wolff Lovers" with Themesycia. He only planned on settling down with Celene once he accidentally got her pregnant but unfortunately, before they could see the wedding through, Celene passed away from disease. Simon has, since, sworn to never marry, dedicating his time to his daughters and to helping Themesycia run the manor.

Not much is known about the woman that almost married Simon. What is known is that she was not of any prestigious place in life; her family were lowborn natives of Bellum. It was Celene that won Simon over, perhaps at her unwillingness to sleep with him right away. Their flirtations turned to love and eventually Celene bore two children, Cecilia and Ophelia. Simon and Celene planned to marry but she got sick, delaying their nuptials. Before they could finalize a quick last-minute marriage, Celene passed away.

She's been known to date around but she isn't as driven by sex as her father, far more interested in connections rather than physical release. She is unsure what she wants to do with her life, happy for the moment to simply live and see where it takes her.

Cecilia stuck close to her sister, quiet and a bit reserved around others but still friendly and warm. She became quite proficient in education and is currently in university to become an educator in the magical arts.

Everance is the younger of the two children born to Bacchus and Beatrix and perhaps the most brilliant. Ever was classified as a prodigy from a very young age. She excelled in all aspects, especially magic, and was the pride of Beatrix's strict educational focus. But besides her mastery of most things, Everance was just as fun-loving and adventurous as her brother and adoptive sister, getting in all sorts of trouble with them growing up. Everance was also a bit of a flirt, often talked into bed by men and women alike. It wasn't until she met Dudley that she developed true feelings, easily caught up in the romance of the man. It did not take them long to marry. The two shared a passion for technology and soon established Du Wolff Industries, an industrial corporation that specialized in breakthroughs in modern technology.

A half giant that stands nearly as tall as a fully giant, Dudley is the son of a human man that fell in love with a giant woman. Somehow love conquered all and the two managed to produce Dudley. Unfortunately a terrible natural tragedy brought an end to Dudley's mother, leaving him to be brought up by his father. He was taught how to survive, his father warning him of people's distrust of his mother's kind. Dudley became such an excellent shot with a bow an arrow that he started to compete and achieve glory. It was at one such event that he met Everance and won her over. Dudley runs the day-to-day with his wife at their company, ensuring their technology is effective.

A prankster, a talker, an all round bad boy trope waiting to happen, Bartrand is the energetic, excitable son of Dudley and Everance. From birth it was obvious that Bartrand was going to be rambunctious, constantly on the move and wanting to see everything everywhere. As he grew, he developed a sense of desire, wanting more of everything and to be the best at whatever he could get his hands on. Yet despite all of his ego-boosting, Bartrand is actually quite humble and considerate, seeing the world as it is rather than some trophy to claim. He is a man who loves his luxury but doesn't flaunt it in other people's faces, actually taking after his family and often being charitable to his friends and even to complete strangers.

Abandoned at birth, seemingly unwanted, Themesycia was found by Bacchus one day and, in a stroke of luck, was taken in to join the du Wolff family. Themesycia faced constant oppression from her adoptive mother but triumphed nonetheless, managing to surpass limits that even Bacchus believed would hold her back. Soon enough she had become invested in the political world, often accompanying Bacchus on trips to other nations for conventions. It was during one such peace convention that she met Gren Ragnos and due to dangerous circumstances, the two ended up spending the night together. Discovering that she was pregnant, she was forced to stay hidden away until she gave birth and her family insisted that she claim she had found the child on the road, much like her own story. Soon after Bacchus passed away and Themesycia took his place as duchess. During this time, she started a relationship with Vandrad's caretaker, Yuna, while also participating in the Bellum army. Themescyia proved to be a prodigy in the art of war, a master of arms and magic that put many wizards to shame. Once Yuna and Beatrix were killed, Themesycia returned home to act as duchess fully and help raise Vandrad.

A gruff and stalwart man, a calculating and efficient soldier, Vandrad didn't seem born for greatness but instead took it without permission and made it his own. As a young boy, Vandrad was sweet and kind, until his grandmother started abusing him. Slowly he started to regress and lose his sense of self until, upon witnessing the murder of his caretaker Yuna, he unlocked his magic and murdered his grandmother. Since that day he's been cold and hardened, pushing himself to be better than he was and refusing to be weak anymore. He grew distant from his family and eventually left to join the military, excelling within the ranks and soon becoming a training officer. Led to believe that he was abandoned as a child, he eventually discovered that he was truly Themescyia's son and had a father from Fiore. With the goal of learning more about his father in mind, he set out for Fiore.
