Smrt's eyes twitched as he was looking at his hands. He could not believe what was happening, after all that he has been through.
"I am getting ready to clean. Me. What had I fallen to, a simple errand boy?"
He was looking at a broom in his hands, thinking if breaking it would save him. But save him from what he was not sure.
Swallowing his pride he griped it with both hands and started slowly.
"Sweep... Sweep..." he sang "Sweep like you need to bleep."
He raised his eyebrows. "That was a bad rhyme. It means nothing and I need a better song if I want to finish quicker."
The broom looked small in his big hands, like it was made for a child and not a grown man. Then again Smrt was very tall even for an adult.
He continued sweeping the main hall silently trying to remember what he was told about it.
"The Throne Hall is the administrative headquarters of the guild, and all operations of Dies Irae are based here. " he repeated in an ironic voice murmuring under his chin, so other members of the guild that were in the hall could not hear him.
"The guild hall itself is a large domed building, more akin to a palace than a traditional guild hall, built from solid, gray granite, the red and gold banners of Dies Irae decorating it generously. When one approaches the guild hall, the first thing they can see is the great archway making up the entrance that leads directly to the center of the guild hall, the throne room itself, the Ambassador and the Commanders of the guild, if not on a mission or other duties, can generally be found here. This is where the job board is located as well." his voice had an intonation of a drunk street dog.
Smrt walked slowly moving dirt from one place to another, keeping a line of crud in front of himself. Even though he considered it insulting, the act of sweeping and cleaning had a meditating effect on him. It would slow down his breathing and force him in to a state of bliss.
"The guild hall itself, apart from the main hall, contains both the East Wing and the West Wing. The East Wing of the guild hall is where the several services the guild offers are located. This includes, among others, the Mess Hall and Kitchen, which are open for business 24/7 and sell Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner to visitors and clients. Guild members eat and drink for free. The West Wing accommodating free housing for all members and employees of the guild. Neophytes and Soldiers of Dies Irae receive a relatively sizable room that includes all modern necessities as well as a private bathroom. Officers and above receive larger, more comfortable rooms or apartments as well as the privilege to completely customize their room to their liking. " he made a pause.
"Man I really would love to have a bigger room. Officers probably don't need to clean the hall, like ever."
And so after a few hours of hard work, the halls floors lo spotless.
