Description:
Though card magic has become a common practice, the true depth of the Tarot is as old as Lost Magic itself. Through the right use and interpretation, the cards have far more awe-inspiring abilities, limited only to the imagination of their user. Driven by the powers of Fate, this magic allows its practitioner to use each or many of the cards in a myriad of abilities and powers that even cross over to the abilities to manipulate space and time itself.
Selina's training among the Umbra Witches, allowed her to interpret and use magic from the Tarot from each individual card-- to the combination of multiple cards. These abilities are among, but not limited to, elemental conjuring, teleportation, protective charms, healing and even adopting new powers to her own. The more focused she is to this magic, the more powerful cards she can wield, even beyond the reach of the 21 Major Arcana. Her magic can even extend to without using her cards in small degrees, always keeping her powers in some manner of reach. The use of the cards can stem from throwing them at targets or using them on hand. The manner these spells can be cast either by single or combined cards to properly cast her spells.

In human evolution there were genetic mutations that eventually lead to the creation of new species. All other human species, apart from the modern human, were thought to have all been eradicated. However, back in the days when humans still lived very close to nature, a genetic mutation took place that would stay unnoticed for millennia. Humans with these genes could understand animals and communicate on a more sophisticated level than speech. When these humans mastered magic, their unique genes allowed them to take on specific traits of animals with which they had bonded. As these humans continued to mix with those who did not possess these genes the gifts that came along with them grew weaker. Only those in which the genes are present and strong enough can still use these abilities.
Ability: The user can communicate with animals telepathically. When they share a bond with a creature (must be a pet) they can use a weaker version of their pet's abilities themselves (one rank lower than what the pet has them) with weaker effects. Their pet have has 50% more HP and deals 50% more melee damage.
Once per topic they can cause a Frenzy in which natural wildlife will assault the user's enemies. Birds, deer, wolves, bears, you name it. This deals the user’s rank in melee damage (max S-rank) per post over the course of 4 posts. Greatly depends on the location on the type of beasts.
Usage: Passive. Once per thread use of the frenzy ability that lasts 4 posts.

Unique Abilities:
- Sleight of Hand: Being a magical thief by trade, she is skilled in the most proficient of sleight of hand to handle her cards, from keeping them hidden or throwing them with great accuracy. She always has a trick up her sleeve, making her unpredictable and potentially dangerous to cross. It's no surprise a skilled magician can easily become a thief. Using her cards as a medium, she can use them expertly from planting them on targets without being noticed, or placing them in key locations for the best strategic effects. She also is great to use this skill to steal from people and lift secured personal effects off people. This, in turn, allows her to be more creative on how she hides her cards. Also--she has a near-psychic ability to magically recall her cards to her, similar to how Requip users recall their items. Placing of cards on Character, Character control NPC or Event NPC requires OOC permission.
- Reversal of Fortune: Tarot cards often have a multitude of meanings-- but the less thought of uses is reading their messages when they appear upside down. While their meanings often flip, it also means the magics that each card has can also be used in a similar fashion. When using an offense spell, the caster can make a decision to either enhance one of her spells with one of two effects. One, she can buff up the spell to up to 50% in spell power to deal more damage. However, if she chooses, she can also use this ability to reduce her spell's base damage by 50% instead-- and in exchange, apply a piercing effect to penetrate magical barriers. She can only use one option at a time per post without exception.
- Destiny Spread: The Tarot is a constantly evolving tool, with new meanings, new spells and divinations depending on the combination of cards used. Depending on the position and cards used, the effects too can become as unpredictable as fate itself. During a post, the caster may pay 50% of an existing spell they have to mix another magical element of choice into a spell's attack. This effect can add a maximum of 2 magical elements of choice, but after paying a total of double the spell cost. . (Names and cosmetic appearance of spells can change. Beyond elements, this does not impact any spell's effects.)
