    DING!

The elevator doors cracked open and the sound of silence exited the doors into the building. A little bit of RnR seemed to be something she wanted to enjoy and frankly to do so lately was bothersome. Unlike other famous people, Sakura was able to vanish from any and all sight whenever. However, that wasn't the way that most others could. She didn't possess invisibility and though as a spirit she could phase herself through walls, this was not one of them. The ability to possess life sized dolls was a strange, but unique aspect from which this idol utilized to an extent no other could think to do. Known to few and thankful even those who knew were among the shadows or generally out of the capital eye of knowledge made her other work much more sustainable and worthwhile. This doll made her name through this means and her abilities made her a much more unseen threat that struck colder than the heart of the arctic wastelands. Since things seemed to be going in a way she didn't expect as of recent, there wasn't much of a reason as not to go ahead with the idea and notion that she was going to get some time to relax for a change. Maybe crack open the book she'd had to set aside since her last tour had begun and then looped into other places. So many things of hers had to be placed on hold in order to keep herself in check. And while she vastly enjoyed this chance, to have it double with her work was taxing. Still, it wasn't much different than her days in the mafia run by Black Rose. If only some day she could come across some of her former members. Perhaps she was the only one of them left after what happened to the Silver Moon Inn before it's repurchase and rebuilding. Gutted of its memories.

Though that wasn't really the only reason from which Sakura enjoyed the use of her idol tours and even more so why she probably didn't hear any backlash from the guild when she did such things. Her travels between towns and even countries proved to be more than a benefit to the rainbow slayer. What Sakura did as part of her own life and her job intertwined in ways that never seemed to interfere. Well.. except for once when she slid information into a fan meet & greet signing CD's, though it had been hidden in the actual case, one could say she never knew they were there and someone else could have done so. Regardless, she covered her tracks and so far in the close to a year of her fame growing and growing, she had never had anything close to any close calls of being discovered by the public. That though still helped in the long run. In times where she would be in a trailer relaxing or sleeping, her hidden away doll body would be out in the shadows delivering or receiving the information needed and then holding onto the information until the point in her tour where its destination was located to be picked up or dropped off. Nothing in her information trafficking was a hard or even a slow concept in which she could feel herself at ease regardless of it all. In fact, things were just getting easier for her since she had her own mother joining in the group. Having a second person along made the work a bit easier, much less acting as though she were getting the elder Kisagami a bit of a taste as to the work she did and just a portion of the things the guild did.

But today she was on a task given to her by the chairman himself. A devilishly handsome man that she's only met once face-to-face. He seemed nice and very professional, however it felt strange to the doll that she was given this task straight from him rather than her direct superior or even from another of the branch directors. Whatever it was, she had to go all the way into the Ace of Spades and travel into a large building to a floor under construction in order to receive this information. Up on the 29th floor had seemed to be something a bit less than strange than anything, but at least the rain outside made the work today a bit out of the question. The frayed and messy area was covered in saw dust, loose wires, and tools laying all around the place. If she didn't know any better, one could think that she had stumbled into something that someone else had made them evacuate at the last moment. Then again, the sudden crack of thunder would explain it. Why chance being struck by lightening? Human trivialities, am I right?

A little bit of time spent walking around looking for what she came for had been a little less than fruitful. Why did she get told to come here? A sigh left the doll's mouth as she entered the last room. One set up to be the head of whomever planned to own this floor's business. The whole room seemed set up with everything one would need to run an office, minus one computer and tower. The large, comfortable swivel chair had been pulled out and while at first it didn't seem to be anything strange, the fact it had a manila envelope taped to it had convinced her this was it. Walking over to the chair, she would pull the envelope off and climb onto the chair, pouring the contents across the the table, she would find nothing more than pictures. Right on top had been a gated compound of some sort with large black gating. The design itself seeming to be more modernized and plane towards the bottom until you got towards the top. Arching across the top had laid a very custom design showing the word "Donovon". Immediately after seeing the name, she fished through each and every picture. Seeing numbers of stationed guards and finally a trio of solo shots. A tall, darker man stepping into and out of the home, even one of him using the pool in the back of the manor located on the property. As her mind tried to piece everything together, her eyes shot between the pictures strewn over the desk until she put two and two together. Small, porcelain hands slammed into the table, though they made little sound, made it clear to herself that she was both angry and focused.

Recollecting everything together into its envelope, Sakura took it to a metal trash can and then lit the paper on fire before moving to the elevator to leave. With pictures burned into her brain now, she was prepped to move along now down into the town and begin her search for a coward.

Laying low seemed to be the way to play things right now in this time. She had to keep herself under an emotional control and work things like any other job. Though she sat not too far away keeping her eyes on the place, the doll had certainly been less than casual in her look to being around a new area. Though dressed in a fashion that was akin to well.. a doll or that of a very high classed child, nobody thought it too suspicious for her to having been in such a place on her own. Her icy gaze had scanned over the compound to the best of her position could let her and though most of it was at an ease of sight, one wall in conjunction to her angle made it impossible to tell if it were occupied or not. Essentially, the one blind spot from which she couldn't count on being empty. If anything, there may have been two patrols of guards on opposite sides at all time. minimize the chance of anyone successfully sneaking in without having too many people sitting around doing nothing. The way this place was laid out looked much like a prison without the guard towers and though it was literally towers short of being just that, it was more to keep out then keeping people in.

Well, now seemed to be a better time than any to move in. While scouting things out would probably help sort out her emotions better, there was a better need for her to do that than allow someone else a chance to beat her to it. But how to do this... She could send a large wave to wash out the guards, however then she'd chance doing the same to her target and letting him get away. No way, not after the work she put in to get the favors necessary to get the information for this. And while she didn't choose where the information exchange was for her own information, she surely picked where the drop points had been on her end... so it was an even exchange, so to speak. But what else was there to do? Freeze over a wall and shatter it? Slaughter the guards or blind them and run past? Maybe go into her spirit body and toss over the doll, go through the wall and catch the body, pop back in? No, the toss up was a one time thing and a chance to be seen. Going back to blinding, the idea would be good at first, however the second she did that, she risked others seeing the flash and catching her in the act of breaking in. Well, perhaps while continued to contemplate her choice, she would lean back in her seat, place her hands on her lap as trying to move them behind her head and lacing her fingers together was something she couldn't do, and just relax.

You Can't Hide Forever... (Exam) Empty Re: You Can't Hide Forever... (Exam)

Some time had passed while tending to her own mental devices. What to do was wearing on her mind so much it could frustrate even the most patient of people. And considering that the doll was among those people, this was very much going sideways as time passed on. Well, now seemed like the best time as a figure passed by the window on the top floor close to the front balcony of the manor. The time to act seemed to be perfect for a couple of ways, but this idea was a test theory and frankly if it led to the deaths of a couple people aside from innocent civilians, so be it. If she didn’t act now, then she may lose her chance for who knows how long. Comfort was a weakness —rather, a crutch that she was ready to kick out from under this man leaning upon it. And once he’d lie on the floor, unable to recover as his attacker would approach, would she surely seek out every lick of information from him before letting him go. After all, killing him is not her goal today. Just information and some reparations for her troubles.

A cold gust of air would pick up, much akin to winter as opposed to the summer heat in the country. The guards at the front let off a sudden shiver from the chill they received. Questioning one another as to if the other had been cold or it was just them, they’d soon watch as a large arrow made of ice pierced into the wall on an angle. The two guards had been curious as to how an arrow made of ice made its way through the summer heat, but it didn’t last much longer than a second before the arrow would explode with shards of ice and high gusting winds of bitter cold air that could freeze a body of water on contact. The wall attached took most of the brunt of damage, but the initial message was made. The entrance had become coated in a layer of snow and small shards of ice sticking up from the ground itself. ”Show time.” She said to herself, lowering a rather large sized crossbow.

Making her way down with no urgency in her step, the rainbow slayer walked closer and closer to her icy gateway, stepping on and walking across the slippery ice with no resistance. The patter of low cut heels against the icy ground carried the little bit of weight she carried until one added in the crossbow held in her hands. Made of pure ice, the design came off as something crafted by a blacksmith, but simply replicated in all forms from memory with the added touches of ice was the way she had done several other designs of hers. The mission focused girl moved on towards the entry when several guards had surrounded the entrance. Several of them had guns and one even fired preemptively into the right arm of the doll. The sound of shattering glass and even her arm subsequently falling off made no remark or even a flinch of care.

The guards seemed to be completely completely thrown off and confused as the living doll just looked up from her own broken arm and shook her head lightly. Her eyes swayed to her left -more specifically towards the left flank of guards. A sigh left the dolls mouth and a small puff of warm air would exit. The sight she had begun to watch was a white strangely shaped object swiftly moving along the ground towards the group. The white object had seemed to resemble that of the fun of a fish, or more importantly a shark. As it closed it, the fin would begin to rise into the air, pulling more and more water together as it formed into a large, white colored shark made of water. As it begin to form a flip in the air to readjust itself to land on target, the sun would bounce off of the aquatic creature and reveal the rainbow hue. The shark would then fire right down on top of the group and with a sudden burst of water and sending the few guards in various directions and with little resistance of being knocked out.

”You can leave. Or I’ll do worse to you.” She spoke up, turning her attention to the remaining three. They didn’t waste much time at all before they did the same thing. Fleeing at the word said, they didn’t bother trying to fight back at something that had been shot and made absolutely no reaction. Sakura would reach down and pick up her arm, or what was left of it and hold it up, then blowing a bit of air between it and the rest of her body, would create a makeshift arm. Testing her reflexes in forming a fist, there was little to be said after that. Now having no obstacles that would attack back now, she would approach the doors and simply touch them. Before her eyes, they crystallized into ice and just a flick from her left hand had shattered the door like collapsing sand. Immediately she could see inside the place and frankly... it was aggravating to see.

A life of luxury and extravagance while she could only picture back to her own childhood, watching her mother work two or even three jobs to keep up with things when she grew up. Anger pushed down the feeling of sadness, rage welling up over depression, but all of them were pushed back into the shell of her porcelain body. Beyond everything, this was a job, be it personal or not... Thumping around above her showed he was still here and that was perfect. The the doll made her way up the steps and behind her left small footsteps of ice as she did so. Her seething rage has manifested in an aura of ice from which was laying frostbite to every little thing she touched. The ice would even spread like a virus among everything it touched until the ice has become a thing layer that added a shine among the staircase, railing and all. As the idol reached the next set of steps, she had tapped the door and simply repeated the process as before, turning the door into a pile of icy rubble. Stepping inside, she would see a man cowering in a corner almost, at least until he saw the smaller figure and he seemed to be a little more at ease. “Wait.. wait please! Please don’t kill me! I-I’ll make it worth your while! J-Just name your price!” He tried to plead and beg, but instead she silently continued to approach him. Just a mere 2 meters from him, she could see him shaking harder than anything she’d seen before. Between the fear and the cold emanating off of her, all she could do was shake her head in disappointment.

”I had much higher expectations... but I guess that’s what happens when you hire civilians for security.” She spoke, making no effort to give any information to him until she felt ready to, if at all. ”But I guess that’s what happens when you try to hide and live a comfortable lifestyle with your tail between your legs. Start running.” Motioning with her head, she would let him get up and begin to run for the exit. Was she serious? Was she tricking him? Well... the latter would be the closest thing to the truth. As he would go to run and turn the corner, he would slip on an ice covered floor and fall over. His running momentum forcing him against the banister of the upstairs. Crashing through it like he’d been thrown down a bowling lane into pins, he fell off the balcony of the second floor and crashed down onto the steps. A loud scream came from his mouth and a smile formed on her face for just a moment.

Moving to the place of impact, she would look down as he had laid on the ground, his right leg bent in several directions and in agonizing pain. Now that he wasn’t moving anywhere, Sakura made her way down the steps to the male and stepped down on his broken leg. ”Almost too easy, really...” The man would reel in pain, looking for the girl, asking who or what she was. ”I’m the Snow White who was conceived by two dwarves; bravery and cowardice. But cowardice abused bravery to a point even she couldn’t do much. And when the two learned of their newborns illness, Cowardice took off, taking with him everything they had and leaving a mother and child alone to bare the front alone.” Her heel dig into his leg, eyes narrowing in anger and as he flailed in pain, a smirk of amusement came across her face. ”And so Snow White simply took her years of isolation and depression, bottling it up with what little magical power she had, and one day unleashed it into a weapon.”

A sigh finally left her mouth, finishing her story and even removing her foot from the injured leg. ”But I won’t be killing you. In fact, I have nothing more to say to you... it’s not my place to cast judgement upon the swine of the world... but when the embers burn, they will burn your whole world to ashes and the Phoenix will be reborn anew.” She would turn her back and begin to walk away, leaving him there to be rescued by the incoming authorities. The air of cold would vanish, and just as it had, so would the doll. Her job was done now.
