Description:
Ever needed to get somewhere quickly, but there were absolutely no modes of transportation nearby? Tired of trekking up those mountains on foot or by a slow goat? Is the weather bad enough to cancel your travel plans, but there’s an unmovable deadline or emergency? Any time is a good time for Drift! Drift stands for Dragon Lift, and this flute serves as a one-way ticket to reliable travel! Simply play a tune and a dragon will appear within minutes with a metal carriage built for up to six people clasped in its claws. Tell it where you wish to go and away it’ll fly!
Abilities:
Name: Da Capo Doot
Description: By playing a tune on this dragon flute, the user summons a transportation dragon to carry them and some friends anywhere they wish to go. The dragons do not fight and should combat break out, they will drop their carriage and fly away until it is safe again. A word of warning, the skill with which the tune is played heavily affects the type, personality, speed, and overall quality of the dragon summoned, as well as the safety level of the carriage the user will ride in. Play too poorly and you may get Sniffles the Perpetually Ill or even Gaseus the Flatulent. Users may want to practice their musical skills before long trips. [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or Event NPC as well as associated magics belonging to those mentioned.]

Description:
Someone somewhere thought the smoke that comes out of a fire dragon’s noseholes after a nice roasting looked interesting enough to catch it and condense it with magic, then enchant it into pipes carved into the shape of a dragon. Really they just wanted to be able to look cool and blow smoke as a tavern trick, but it turns out that Dragon Smoke has some really weird effects on non-dragon folk, so ... use with caution. It’s unadvised to inhale, but humans are humans so just use responsibly. Don’t operate heavy machinery or drive while using Dragon Smoke. Side effects may include smelling like a piece of charcoal, disorientation, big brain moments, weakness, giddiness, unperturbable calm, and patches of scaly skin. Not dry skin. Actual dragon scales may appear in random places. All side effects should clear up within four hours of discontinuing the usage of Dragon Smoke.
Abilities:
Name: Chillax
Description: If the user happens to inhale any of the smoke produced by this pipe into their lungs, they’ll normally experience some initial discomfort in the lungs but otherwise a really nice time. It’s relaxing and peaceful, like all the world’s worries were just fried by dragon fire and have melted away. Some find it easier to think with abnormal clarity, while others just enjoy not thinking and living in the moment, appreciating the present for what it is instead of what it should be. As with all things, it affects everyone a little differently, so occasionally it can have an adverse effect, but normally it doesn’t… [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC as well as associated magics belonging to those mentioned.]

Bahamut’s Compassion

Appearance:
History:
At the dawn of the Age of Dragons, there was one who ruled above the others as their King known as Bahamut. Bahamut was a kindhearted dragon that believed it was the duty of him and his kin to use their undisputed power to protect the Earth and all the creatures that called it home. Unfortunately, his sister Tiamat did not feel the same way. Tiamat believed that the power of the dragons was more efficiently utilized in dominating the earth, and sought to make all living creatures bow to her as their supreme and terrifying ruler.
Bahamut loved his sister dearly, but could not stand idly by while she used her magic to subjugate the earth through blood and chaos. He took it upon himself to oppose her at every turn, healing those whom she and her followers injured, consoling them in their loneliness and fear, and doing what he could to assure those weaker than him that he would protect them at the cost of his own life and happiness. Even though the fight against his sister broke his heart further with each day, he never wavered from his conviction, nor lost hope that, perhaps, Tiamat could be taught to see compassion. He became a reluctant master in the art of battling his fellow dragons, finding ways to take their greatest defense, their thick scales, and turn them into weaknesses by learning how to manipulate and control them.
Unfortunately, Bahamut’s desire to turn his malevolent sister toward the light ultimately failed, and he was forced to claim her life to protect the early humans that became the ancestors of those living today. Consumed with grief over the loss of his sister by his own hands, he disappeared and was never seen again. Humanity later found what they believed to be his lair, the nest empty except for a great number of clear, bubble-like orbs that they believed were residual tears from the sky dragon’s immense sorrow. These orbs, unknown at the time to be lacrimas, were distributed to as many of the people whom Bahamut had saved as possible, and they were set up in shrines to honor his memory and his sacrifice.
Today, those orbs have been lost to time, with very few of them remaining over the centuries, and even fewer people understanding the orbs’ origins. However, those who do know or suspect the history of the orbs recognize them as lacrimas and believe that, if used correctly, they can allow a person to harness a small but powerful fraction of the power Bahamut once possessed.

Description:
This peculiar staff is shaped like a dragon with feathery wings. Its blue color, pose, and long tail seems unthreatening, almost peaceful, but it hides a terrible power. It acts as a key to the locked door between Earthland and a similar but mysterious world with its own rules and problems. In truth, the staff is not from this dimension and actually belongs to a Wizard aiming to take over not only his own world but other worlds only reachable through portals. Many of this staff were produced, but it’s unclear how they ended up in Earthland. Was this perhaps part of his plan all along?
Abilities:
Name: Otherworld
Rank: User Rank (Up to A)
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Area of Effect
Duration: 1
Description: By jamming the tip of the dragon’s tail into the ground, the user opens a portal beneath the feet of all within range. Looking down appears as if you’re looking through a window into another world, and in a sense, that’s exactly what’s happening. Instead of some beast being summoned forth from the portal to attack, those standing on the thin veil between Earthland and the strange place beyond are pulled inside. The world of Purisianta lies beyond. It’s a world filled to the brim with dragons and knights, a dimension lost to time and progress. Magic works a bit differently here, though the effects seem to be random ranging from element inversion to negating it altogether. All technology ceases to exist. The only dragon slayers in Purisianta are those who ram a sword through one’s heart, which happens often as the war between magical beast and kingdoms of man rage. The amount of time spent there is up to the user, as repeating the action with the staff to reopen the portal is the only way to return to Earthland [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC as well as associated magics belonging to those mentioned].
Name: Invasion
Rank: User Rank (Up to S)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target
Duration: User Rank Max
Description: The user waves the staff overhead, opening a small portal overhead that once more serves as a window between worlds. Unlike the other spell this staff contains that moves the user and those caught between worlds, this one brings other beasts and people to the user. Should the user be in Earthland, dragons come out of the portal to fight in the user’s stead, as well as armies of armored knights armed with swords, shields, and bows with flaming arrows. Sometimes wizards come in their pointy hats and robes, reading from books or waving their own staffs to cast generic spells of damaging force onto enemies. If the user is in Purisianta when this spell is used, people and beasts from Earthland are likewise pulled through to aid the user in battle against their enemies, placed under the user’s command by the magic held within the staff [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC as well as associated magics belonging to those mentioned].

A long time ago a great fire dragon brought ruin upon every village and city it encountered. Its terrible breath left no building standing and even the stone walls melted under its stream of flames. No knight, army or wizard could subdue the foe. It was a time no dragonslayer walked the earth. One day the dragon laid its ire upon an ancient city, its city guards fled and so did the citizens, but one knight stood his ground. He stood amidst the fields of golden wheat to challenge the dragon. The dragon saw the defiance as an insult to his dread and came down with a surge of scorching fire. Once the flames died out, the knight kept standing. The armor did not shine grey like any knight but shone tan. Wrought in the shape that nearly resembles dragon bones and claws. Its pauldrons shaped into the likeness of crowned dragons. This knight was the bane of that fiery drake and many to come.

Description:
Hundreds of years ago a brave and enterprising thief managed to steal a silver medallion from a dragon hoard without suffering the fate of most who dared to steal from a dragon. The thief found that the medallion he had stolen was imbued with considerable magic power due to it having spent so much time near the dragon that some of the beast's magical power seeped into it. He learned that by extending the medallion outward and thinking about power or protection he could invoke that power to boost his offense or defense to incredible heights. Emboldened by the power at his disposal, the thief began to undertake bolder and bolder heists that resulted in the accumulation of great wealth. However, the thief became too reliant on the medallion to get him out of trouble and one night paid for that mistake when he attempted to steal the crown jewels of a king and ran afoul of the royal guard, who cut off his escape, surrounded him, and stabbed him to death with numerous swords.
While the thief who first owned the medallion may be long dead thanks to his overconfidence, his treasure has survived to the present day by passing from owner to owner until it found its way to the market centuries after it was first discovered. While the Dragon Medallion's owner might never match the full power of a dragon, they can still tap into some of that power for a strong offense or a formidable defense. With this medallion in their possession, the owner has a good chance to live long and prosper. Just be mindful of the fate of the Dragon Medallion's first human owner and do not let the power of a dragon go to one's head!

Description:
Dragons appear throughout the entirety of Earthland and play a major part in its history, from the ancient times of their dominance over the globe and all other races of Earthland to their eventual downfall, giving rise to humanity. Dragons are creatures of incredible power, magical as well as otherwise, and even the strongest of mages struggle to not only defeat, but also to even stand up to a dragon that is at the peak of its strength. Apart from this, however, dragons also vary quite a bit in appearance, personality, intelligence, motives, and other factors that define them and make them unique and individual. Where exactly dragons have come from, however, is a mystery to outsiders, and a closely guarded secret among dragons, for the secrets and spirituality of dragonkind, which shares similarities with that of mankind, is what gives them part of their power.
Dragons, so it is said, were once given form by the ancestral dragon Yldrir, deriving their power from this original, primordial dragon god which bestowed upon dragonkind the art that is known as magic in modern Earthland, dragons eventually passing this art down to humans. What is unique to dragons, however, something that cannot be transferred to humans and a trait shared among all dragons, is their indomitable and unalienable will to power. Dragons, whether benevolent or malevolent, believe themselves to be a higher form of existence, a life form that is ultimate and perfect. Whether this is true or not is a matter debated even amongst the greatest of dragons as well as historians, scholars, and those interested in the mythological beasts among the humans that seek to learn from and study dragons, but the fact remains that dragons are equipped with an unnaturally strong desire to rule, to teach, to conquer, to best, and they most of them pursue this matter fro the majority of their seemingly unending lifespans, acquiring ever-increasing knowledge, strength, power, and a seemingly unending determination.
While this questionable blessing is traditionally only bestowed upon true dragons, if a similar will to power is inherited by a different being possessing a draconic aspect, such as a Dragon Slayer, it is possible to receive Yldrir's blessing of dragonkind and obtain the spirit and power rivaling that of a true dragon. Who knows, however, if such a being truly exists or not.
Abilities:
✶ Draconic Ascendancy ✶
As an adjacent to and a being blessed with the spirit and soul of a dragon, the user enjoys a certain increase in power to draconic abilities that they might manifest. All of the user's Dragon Slayer Magics are automatically changed from the "Dragon Slayer" magic type to "Advanced Dragon Slayer" magic type. Advanced Dragon Slayer magic overrides the benefit from regular Dragon Slayer magic. Advanced Dragon Slayer magic is innately more powerful than regular Dragon Slayer magic, approaching the strength of true dragons. Advanced Dragon Slayer magic does not force motion sickness on the Slayer. The benefits for Advanced Dragon Slayer magic are the following:- +100% passive increase to Strength, Speed, Spell Damage, Spell Range, and Spell Speed.
- Unrivaled senses of Hearing, Sight, Smell, and Touch.
- Ability to consume Magic of the same element as the Slayer Magic to regain MP as well as the Enhanced Force mechanic (See below). Abilities designed to impart negative effects, damage, or other negative consequences upon the Slayer upon consumption of an element do not affect the Slayer and are ignored.
- Inherent passive Damage Resistance to both magical and melee damage set at +50%.
✶ Rex Draconis ✶
Combining the powers of mortals and dragons, the user acts as an entity between the two species, and as such benefits from the strengths of both, transcending limits to a potential that could make them the strongest, even among the already powerful dragons of the world. The user's Dragon Force (whether First Gen, Second Gen, Third Gen, or Hybrid) is changed into an enhanced version of the respective kind of Dragon Force they have access to. Enhanced Dragon Force overrides the benefits of regular Dragon Force. This type of Force follows all rules and conditions the regular version of the user's Dragon Force must follow in regards to activation, but bestows upon the user the following benefits once activated:- Enhanced Force highly increases the power of the Slayer's Strength, Speed, Spell Damage, Spell Range, and Spell Speed by 200% rather than just 100%.
- While Enhanced Force is active, the Slayer is surrounded by an aura of their respective element, increasing either their Base Spell Damage or their Base Strength by 100%. This increase is separate from other base increases and can apply independently of the cap imposed on base increases.
- While Enhanced Force is active spells cost no MP to cast.
- In order to maintain Enhanced Force the user must spend 10% of their total MP every post it is active. MP cannot be regained or regenerated while Enhanced Force is active by any means. Once the user of Enhanced Force hits 0 MP or once they choose to cancel it the state of Enhanced Force will end. If the user hits 0 MP through Enhanced Force they suffer from the consequences of running out of MP as they otherwise would.
✶ Draconic Eclipse ✶
As a vessel for the power of true dragonhood bestowed by Yldrir, the user, as a unique being between the world of dragons and the world of man, enjoys a blended perspective of both, though the user, while possessing the body and shape of a mortal being, in actuality transforms their soul into that of a dragon. The user is immortal and cannot die of old age, and apart from that shares more characteristics with dragons than humans. For the purposes of classification, the user counts as a true dragon, meaning they take double damage from Dragon Slayer magic. While this is the case, however, the blending of human magic and draconic magic bestows a unique benefit on the wielder of this lineage. The user can add a singular element to every Dragon Slayer magic they possess. This element can be wielded, used, and consumed in the Dragon Slayer Magic in question, and for all intents and purposes counts as part of the Dragon Slayer Magic. All other applicable rules for Slayer Magic, however, still apply.
