The Divine Mage

The tarot mage walked down the street casually as she looked around the place. She decided to take a trip with her husband to Rose Garden once again, but it had turned out she chose the day that this Urban Nights festival thing was going on. The twins were home in Ace of Spades with a babysitter, so they were fine. The Ace of Sabertooth was dressed in a pink shirt with ‘OH LA LA’ printed on the front, a pair of short shorts, and a plaid button up being used as a belt around those shorts. On her feet were a pair of leather booties. All of this outfit was designed by Olga, and already on the model’s lacbook for the world to see. No doubt some people would recognize the model, but for the most part, she was left alone, thankfully.

They walked till the bespeckled mage noticed a poster of sorts. ‘Urban Night’ was stamped across it, and the walls of this part of Rose Garden now seemed different. Graffiti was all over the place. “Was this on lacbook?” She question as she pulls out her pink iLac and opened lacbook. She noticed a few people mentioning about the event, and found out that the Magic Council was the ones who set this up… all across Fiore. The music was faint, but she heard the noise a distance away. Pushing up the bridge of her glasses on her nose more, the diviner glanced towards her husband with a smirk. “Want to try to have another good date without it being ruined by an attack?” She giggles to him as she leans her head over. Noya chirped on the mage’s other shoulder and leaned her head over towards Kyran as well, trying to amp up the cuteness. Though, Gaia knew Kyran wouldn’t try to deny her too much. “C’mon, let's get a drink in you.” She muses and pulls his hand along with her.

The lights all around were neon colored, and Gaia grinned at the delightful display, and her eyes looked around at all the ravers and the cyberpunk dressed partygoers. There was absolutely no doubt that Olga was gonna get in on this fad as well. She wanted to be that fashion designer that catered to everyone. She found herself having bouncy steps in tune with the music as she giggled back towards her husband. She approached a bar and ordered two Sea Breezes before handing one of them to Kyran and sipping her own. “It’s not champagne, but it's nice!” She giggles to him as she glances towards the stage that was now in view, and the dance floor. The longing to dance once again was clear in her eyes. Of course she wasn’t a stranger to dancing in front of a crowd, having done it recently at her friends ‘fake’ wedding a few months prior.

Some of the ravers didn’t seem to mind too much the other dancers around them, but a few had moved away from a particular dancer that was near them, or was making bubbles near them at least. Gaia had noticed the bubbles, but was enjoying her drink to bother with it much. As the wild hair DJ called to the crowd for volunteers to DJ for the event, Gaia glanced towards her husband. “Would you like to try? Or am I having fun on my own?” She giggles to him as she hung on his arm a little. A voice was sounding like they were coming towards them, and Gaia’s burnt sienna eyes behind her blue glasses glanced over towards the noise. It was hard to make out honestly, with all the cheering from the crowd. She ran a hand through her hair as she smiled up to her husband. The noise wasn’t something she was accustomed to. There was probably a fan in the crowd that noticed her. If they came up, she could deal with it accordingly, right now, she was enjoying a night out with her husband though.

Even though Gaia dragged Kyran all the way out here… she did kind of know he was tired. She was trying to take him out to ease his mind, relax his bones, not worry about anything but have some fun with her. After she had asked Kyran if he wanted to go on a date without it being ruined, he seemed to snap a bit and had hungrily kissed her. She blushed a bit as she honestly didn’t know where that had come from, but she did kiss him back a bit before he pulled himself away. “Remember to have fun yourself…” She mumbled before she dragged him off with her and got them some idle drinks. Then he seemed to just down the drink. She slumped her shoulders and put her hand to her forehead. Whatever wound him down, she guessed.

She glared at her husband though as he tried to tell her music wasn’t his forte. “Don’t you give me that! I’ve heard you sing before!” She lightly ‘punched’ his arm as she snorts to him. Then he suggested she go up there? She was a dancer not a DJ! “You’re dancing with me later if I go up there. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.” She tells him as she points a finger up and touches the back of her nail to his nose.

She blinks as she heard a voice call out her name, and takes a deep breath while she sipped her drink. Of course it was a fan. Though, the girls next words made her look over to Kyran, and she raised an eyebrow. “Pardon?” She questioned him as she tries to not laugh. Maybe the girl was talking to someone else about them ‘not being done’ and about having some ‘rematch’ or whatever. The girl got distracted though it seemed. The model watched as the girl directed her path to a bar, and she couldn’t help but watch her to make sure nothing was happening to her. She looked way under age to drink! Her mother bone started to go haywire. So much for having fun, she guessed.

She watched the bartender give the girl a drink and the next thing her hair was rainbow? That… was not something she honestly was expecting. She puffed her cheeks up as she looked towards the bar once again, wondering if that had been alcoholic or not. “I’ll be right back… Don’t get into fights.” She points her finger back at Kyran as she starts to step away from him, walking a couple steps forward. The girl had ran off to talk to someone else, and a group of people passed by, making her lose sight of the girl. She had decided to go up to the bar and ask the bartender herself.

“Hey, I hope you didn’t just give that kid some alcohol…?” The bartender shook his head. “Nah, we have virgin drinks for minors.” He assured her as he handed her a menu. “Why not try one yourself though? Want it virgin too?” She looked down to her Sea Breeze drink, then to the menu. She straightened her back and let the rest of her current drink slip down her throat. It was almost done with anyways. “Lets try this Razzle Dazzle. Feel free to make it alcoholic.” She says as the bartender chuckles as he nods and quickly prepares the rainbow drink in the tall glass. “Is it champagne?” She questions before she picks it up and lightly sniffs over it. She could smell the alcohol. She then sipped it and nodded at the taste. That was rather good. “Huh… mint.” She says as she sips some more. While she sipped the drink, she noticed some of her hair starting to get rainbow streaks in it now. She blinked and looked to the bartender. “She had the same drink didn’t she?” He chuckles and nods as Gaia rolls her eyes with her own smile. At least now she fit more with the ravers.

After she left the bar, she heard a few people calling out to her and telling her that she looked great and pretty, and any other good compliment one could think of, but at the same time, she was approached by some twins in matching raver outfits. “Hey! You’re Gaia Sabin! That dancer model, right? Your hair looks fabulous!” They said in unison just as the music was about to change. They looked to one another, and smiled before looking at Gaia. She had crossed her arms over her chest as she smirks to the two. She knew the look and heard the music. Noya seemed to know too, and quickly scurried down and grabbed Gaia’s pouch and her iLac off of her and backed up a little bit. As soon as the song changed though, they both broke out into a synchronized dance.

Gaia had to give these girls some props though! They seemed like naturals! A smirk started to grow on her lips as they went back to back and both pointed in her direction. As soon as their fingers pointed directly at her, she was in motion. Her body waved in tune with the music and she had even leaned herself back at a near ninety degrees, effortlessly, while putting her arms up in the air at the same time. The music was sounding louder and louder and pounding harder and harder. A circle had started to form around them and soon the two groups were dancing together while showing off their moves. This was clearly Gaia’s element as she leaned in close to someone recording this dance off with their iLac. She gave them a cute wink while sticking out her tongue before she managed to make herself to a backflip in her booties without touching her hands to the ground. That got the crowd around them roaring as she was starting to show more of her dancing.

The girls seemed to start panicking as she did that. They had underestimated the woman and her dancing prowess. But they persisted at least. They made their dances a bit more jumpy as they moved around one another like it was planned. But the song was coming to a close, and it was building more momentum. Gaia figured to start going out with a bang. She had started to ‘close in’ on herself as the music progressed, working on timing it to the end, and just as the last bass dropped and started to sizzle out, the dancer had burst out of her little shell she fake made, and backflipped to be on one hand with a foot straight up in the air and the other bent up close to her to balance herself. Her other hand had stayed close to her chest. The twins had stopped when they were back to back once again. All three of them were breathing heavily with how hard they danced.

Slowly, Gaia let herself back on her feet and walked over to the twins, holding her hand out to them as she smiled brightly. “Jeez! That was worth the headrush!” She laughs to them, her rainbow streaked hair a bit of a mess, and she was slightly sweaty now, but not that bad. She shook hands with each of the girls, and grabbed her iLac from Noya. Her cheeks were a light pink color, thanks to both the alcohol, and the being upside down for a little bit. “Hit me up on Lacbook! I’ll see if I can get a connection for a dance studio for you two if you wish!” She says as she lets Noya back up on her shoulder and waves to the crowd and starts to make her way to Kyran once again after one more goodbye to the rave twins.

As she was walking away, one of the event staff came running up to her and smiled. “Hey! You had gotten a drink at that bar, right?” He questioned. The bespeckled mage nodded slowly as she raised an eyebrow. “Awesome! You get two stamps then! One from the drinks over there, and another for that gnarly dance off!” He tells her as he grabbed her hand and stamped two stamps on the back of her hand before throwing up a peace sign and jogging off to go find another person who needed stamps.

Gaia looked at Kyran and raised an eyebrow as she pursed her lips to his ‘complaining’. “I may have ‘music in my soul,’ but I don’t breath music, I breath dance.” She snorts as she raised an arm and did a quick croise devant move. She had to show off a little of her dancing early here to him. She was going to enjoy herself a little till they had the girl approach them, then she decided to follow and got dragged into the dance off that she won. She would, hands down, enjoy that though. Not often did she get to have this, unless she went into a competition again.

As the tarot mage was making her way back to where she had left her husband, her hands were grabbed and she was being dragged away by the twin girls she was just dancing against not too long ago! “Come on!” “Lets go do the paint drums!” They each call out excitedly to her. Gaia had looked over her shoulder nervously. “I’m sorry I don’t think I ca-” “It’ll be fun!” She had been cut off and tugged harder than she expected the girls to pull her. This is sometimes the downfall of fans when she interacted with them in similar fashion… She wasn’t really given a chance to reject as she was dragged up on stage and had a drum put in front of her and an announcer said who she was and what she’d be doing… great.

Gaia takes a deep breath and holds up the sticks. She refused a poncho, but allowed herself some goggles to cover her glasses at least. She felt one of her keys vibrating on her hip. She reached into the pouch and pulled out Aquarius. His key was warm. She kissed the key softly before she summoned it, and the little blue fairy was fluttering behind her. “I sense it Aquarius...” She mutters as he nods. “I can use the paint on the drums to help attack. And your partner is... glowing?” Gaia glanced up to see a glowing Kyran, giggling as she hid her smile with a hand. She started to lightly tap her drumsticks on the side of the drum. She was tapping her foot in a beat, preparing something to drum. Would it be good? That is another story. She wasn’t a drummer.

After a little bit of tapping the sides, she slammed down the sticks on the top of the drum and the crowd went a bit wild over the sudden blast of paint in the models face and all over her clothes. The fairy snickered as he had hid behind her, but he instantly used his magic to sap the liquid off of her and was throwing it towards the crowd. The splat made a pathway through the crowd, hitting some here and there, before it smacked at the back of one of the attackers heads. It had started to glow though as the lights went out for her little show she was putting on. Did Aquarius or Gaia really care? No. It was a tag to the others. She only hoped that they wouldn’t be killed at least. The little group that seemed to be starting to terrorize the party and causing a ruckus. From here, she could see rather well. “Aquarius.” “On it.” He quickly flew down and took some of Gaia’s paint as the crowd in front of her was dancing and enjoying her odd beats she had going on. Some were even enjoying being splattered with the glowing paint.

Aquarius flew by Kyrans head, making sure to do that on purpose while he called out; “Let’s make sure the party doesn’t get ruined before she called out Aries! Make sure you stay decently clean though!” He says in his high pitched voice and throws the paint at his previous target, apparently it was a guy in a funny hat though. The samurai looked at the little fairy as he summoned water to his little hand and formed a little water sword and held it out towards the man. “Engarde!” The little sprite cries out at the samurai guy. The samurai tilts his head towards the little sprite and snorts. “I’m not sure I’ve ever fought a small creature before, but I hope you prove to be a formidable opponent.” He says and bows to him. Aquarius snickers as he nods. “Same, bro! Now fight!” He shouts before he uses his wings to zip himself forward. The samurai’s flaming pink katana nearly missed the water looking fae as he spun around the guys hand. He lowered his water sword to make the water cut through the guys hand and quickly moved to go under the arm that had the sword out. Honestly? Aquarius wasn’t too great of a swordsman. He was better at throwing water out at a distance and getting in quick jabs here and there. But his best specialty was being a speedy little guy that could dodge danger quick.
