Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

After her encounter in Motor City with a bunch of haters, Miranda was certainly in the mood for a little relaxation and what better place for that than a party? Rose Garden was lit up like a christmas tree with all of the lamps and buildings coloured in bright neon lights. The town was a beautiful sight and the blue haired bunny girl couldn’t help but smile and let her worries just melt away. The place was absolutely packed with people too which was kind of a good and bad thing. Good because it just added to the fun but bad because it messed around with her hypersensitive hearing. It took some getting used to but eventually she was able to adapt to it, as she did to any new situation. She wasn’t quite sure what she wanted to do first and so had just taken to wandering from one event to the next, keeping her eyes and ears out for something that would catch her interest. There were so many sights and sounds that her head seemed to be always moving from one side to the other.

It was just a shame that some of the party goers weren’t looking where they were going and more than once did she almost trip over someone or was roughly barged aside by someone who’d had too much to drink. It was annoying and the bunny girl wanted to give them a piece of her mind or more likely her spits but she just about managed to control herself. Her more recent jobs had been rather violent of late and Miranda wasn’t in the mood to cause any more trouble by setting Aquarius or one of the others loose on a bunch of drunken yobs. The only thing worse than being barged aside though was the occasional hand that found itself moving across her body. She hated the fact that just because she was a bunny girl, people thought it was OK to treat her differently and it drove her mad. Her mother had taught her to teach such people a lesson and she was sorely tempted to. Perhaps later.

“Hey! Bunny girl!” A voice boomed, causing Miranda to turn around rather quickly.

Sitting at one of the stations was a young man, surrounded by girls and perched behind a set of neon coloured drums. He was clearly loving the attention he was getting but looked kind of tired. “I need to take care of these ladies for a while. Take over for me OK? Thanks. Bye.”

With that, he and his little troop took off, leaving the bemused Miranda to rather gingerly enter the station and take the drumsticks in hand. She had no experience with drums and was going to walk away but the sight of her seemed to start attracting attention and a small crowd began to form around her. The blue haired bunny didn’t have any other real option and so after taking a few moments to get the tempo of the music, she began to start drumming, causing paint to start flying in all directions, mostly over her. The young men and women seemed to love it though and were soon dancing along to her rhythm, screaming and hollering with joy as she got into the spirit of things. It was actually a lot of fun and as she started to become more confident with what she was doing, the cheers of the crowd continued to grow. The entire station became covered in paint, a dazzling display of colour that any artist would be proud of. She had them in the palm of her hand and chuckling with joy, the paint covered rabbit would continue to play.

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 23rd July 2020, 3:13 pm

Whomever thought the bright idea to throw big parties had not been thinking to brightly. More so to assign Gisen a security spot for one of the most anticipated hot spots of the upcoming event. Then again, who better to stop a riot than a moving, talking wall of understanding —and rock. Maybe that was just Silvia getting into her head again about certain things that weren’t so important for her to be learning. Or was that just a ranting opinion... Sometimes with her it was hard to tell what was a fact and what was an opinion unless she stated before hand... and other times she just up and wasn’t paying attention. Often lost in thought or trying to do some little exercise that she had been given to help her improve her writing or reading capabilities. However, it had not stopped her for a moment in trying to use the free time to develop ideas for her next lessons.

It had been a long struggle to do so with her between everything having gone on since their time in Lamia Scale. Teaching her from scratch like a child was no easy task, but given that it had been a couple years of off and on training, part of that time spent away from the fact that she didn’t know anything any longer, the progress helped much quicker. Curses turned to blessings between this ease of difficulty coupled with her lack of fear for social interactions helped her going forward. The longevity of it being that Gisen didn’t still remember some things, maybe never will. That however, didn’t mean she couldn’t take those to be signs that she didn’t miss out on much, if anything at all. Even so, it didn’t totally come to be a blessing as this amnesia episode brought upon her the fact she forgot she ever had a mother, let alone siblings. Running off into the Wild as a small child, thankfully being of an earthen nature didn’t hurt very much when it came time to be attacked by predators. The look of a flesh and bone child only to be met with the tough interior of rock made it for her to realize what she could do for not only herself, but those who didn’t wish anything or anyone harm.

“Uh, HEEELLLOOO! Earth to dumb rabbit!” A rather.. annoying tone of a woman got her attention focused from her mind. “I was told you’re in charge here. Can you tell that annoying and loud rodent over there to stop playing those STUPID drums!?” She angrily protested, pointing towards the drum beating bunny girl. Immediately, Gisen’s eyes lit up. She hadn’t seen another bunny girl before! Well... at least to her knowledge that is. She could at least make this the excuse to go say hi, but frankly, she didn’t have any real reason to. ”I could, but she isn’t doing anything wrong. The drums are within permission to be used here, and looking at everyone else, like, nobody seems to be bothered by it.” Immediately the woman gave a disgusted reaction, folding her arms at her chest and huffing.

”You knights are all the same! I don’t even know what I’m paying you people for! In fact, I could just call up my friend, the field Marshall and tell them how insubordinate you’re being! Then you’ll be fired and someone competent can come do a real Knights job!” Gisen smiled. In fact, she began to laugh a little, pulling out a small flip holder that held a badge and an ID with her picture on it. The badge reflecting her title by appearance while noting the ID as well stated her branch and title. ”I appraise your coming to me, but frankly I don’t think she would consider me that inadi- in- ...problematic of a person to be putting out here.” Then, she made a big mistake. In front of a small growing crowd, she slapped the bunny girl. With it, the aggressive woman began to scream in pain as her hand stung. Even with multiple witnesses, she cried out about how she was being attacked, only to be laughed and boo’d at.

She ran away in tears, holding her hand still as the pain continued from smacking the rock that was her head. Shrugging it off, Gisen made her way towards the stage to meet this bunny girl while prior spectators patted her on the back and clapped for her no nonsense and pacifist actions towards how aggressive she had been. She got her just desserts, so it didn’t need to be made worse. She would wait by the stage, watching and listening to the performance before she’d hopefully get her down to greet her. ”Hey there! You were really good! I’ve never seen a bunny girl before aside from me so I wasn’t passing this up. My name is Gisen! Gisen Ceostra!” Bright and chipper as usual, she surely was in a bouncy mood for what was going about right now.

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Guest 23rd July 2020, 4:06 pm

The red eyed rabbit had to admit that playing the drums was a hell of a lot of fun and with the crowd becoming more enthralled by the minute, she continued to up the tempo of her performance. She didn’t know if she was just a natural or if it was something to do with the drums themselves but the people were sure clapping and dancing in time with her. Miranda couldn’t see a single frown amongst the people which she kind of liked. She’d been taught from an early age about how to play with the emotions and feelings of others and it seemed that music was another way of doing that. It gave her a buzz and she mused that perhaps she should look into getting an instrument of her own, to add to her repertoire. Maybe she could ask her mother to make her a magical one, the next time she saw the old witch.

Soon enough though, her time playing had to come to an end, as a blonde haired boy approached and made gestures that he wanted a turn. With a slight frown, she’d end her performance with a final flourish, causing paint to burst forth and take the shape of a neon coloured rabbit, much to the crowds' joy. Clapping and cheering her, Miranda, covered from head to toe in the neon coloured paint stood up and curtsied towards the crowd, before starting to climb down from the stage.

As she did so, the blue haired bunny girl had the surprise of her life as she looked down to see another bunny girl looking up at her. Yet, that was nothing compared to the surprise she felt when the brunette introduced herself. Miranda’s eyes widened with shock and joy, a wide grin crossing her features as she reached the ground. She didn’t quite believe it for a second or two but after remembering what her mother had said the last time they’d spoken, it had to be true. Gisen Ceostra…

    “Thanks,”
the bluenette replied, “I’d never played them before but the guy before me was a bit pushy and got me to do it.” It was tough for her to not just hug the life out of her fellow bunny girl. “My name’s Miranda...Miranda Ceostra. I’m your twin sister. Mother told me that she’d found you but I honestly didn’t believe her until now. You’re really OK.” She paused, finding it tough to keep her emotions in check as the memories began to flood her mind of their childhood together. Being raised by their mother in peace. Well, for a while anyway.

She would briefly turn to water in order to remove the paint and re-emerged as though nothing had happened. “To think that you’ve survived all this time with no memory of where you came from. I’ve missed you so much, Lola.”

Unable to hold it any more, she’d step forward and embrace her sister, a meeting of water and rock as the two elemental bunnies reunited. She’d been taught for so long about staying in control of her feelings but she couldn’t help it. Her hair would turn a bright shade of pink as they hugged, letting her emotions go in that one special moment.

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 23rd July 2020, 5:08 pm

Gisen was a bit enthralled with the musical prowess of the other bunny girl. She seemed to be very excited and happy with her performances and the fact she was had only made her want to meet her more and more. She could feel this bit of familiarity to her. She was different, however the brunette bunny could tell that she knew her. Something drew her more to the girl than she had thought and it began to cause her to become a little more than fanatic about wanting to meet her and get to figure out if they did truly know one another or if she was simply imagining things. It was something that picked at her mind so much more than anything else. Not so much as when she first met Samira and Raphael after her amnesia, angering so much that she couldn’t remember anything. It was a road she hated and wouldn’t wish upon anyone to have to deal with such a nightmare.

As the girl got off the stage, she could feel this sensation. As if her heart had been beating... well if she even knew what that felt like. But that mentally stressing feeling of anticipation of nervousness flared up quickly. She was beginning to feel a bit of the old cowardice towards interacting with her, but that was easily brushed aside by the blunt excitement that welled up from seeing primarily the bunny ears. Frankly, she was surprised to have her so quickly interact back, but it was comforting and exciting at the same time for something like this to happen. ”I wish I could remember my first time too.” She replied with a bit of a chuckle to accompany it. When she returned the introduction, those eyes of her had shot open. She had the same name, but it had risen up more as the girl had continued on to say that they were twin sisters.

Instantly, she remembered back to having met Shen and Lilith. Both were siblings in their own rights and though she had to be explained what a brother and sister were, she had kept hold of it. The fact she had her own sibling was beyond exciting. It began to make her tear up even during the look of shock that was currently on her face. She couldn’t remember Miranda or anything of her childhood. It was a haunting feeling to be without, but she’d had met their mother prior to this during the Fall Equinox. Weak and sickly from that change of season, that would surely come about again soon enough. All the more reason to be ready for it this year. ”I-I... I don’t know what to say.” She said in a low tone of voice. A tear trailed down her cheek while the other bunny girl had shifted herself into what looked to be water, removing all the paint coating herself.

The General was stunned into silence. Miranda and wrapped her arms around and hugged her, something that she never had felt such a feeling of warmth from. It wasn’t something that she experienced before, and nothing as much as when she’d hugged her own mother. But perhaps this is something that Silvia brought up before when she tried to teach her about twins. Apparently, even as elementals, both girls had this strange kinship feeling. Or at least Gisen did, but perhaps Miranda did too. The brunettes’ arms lightly wrapped around the body of her sisters. She was choked up, unable to believe what was happening. She was excited, but at the same time she felt this feeling of sadness. She had no idea truly how much Miranda felt seeing her again, but even just being unable to do so was more hurtful than anything.

Her keeping choked up kept her from doing anything aside from just keeping silent. It didn’t go unnoticed that her hair and ear colors shifted from the blue colors they were to a shade of cherry blossom pink, but she would notice just how light of a hold she had. Not out of the usual for her anymore, but she was trying to push herself through the thick of emotions welled up in her mind. Though she could say for sure that this was indeed her sister at the least. Only a handful of people knew of this name. Her apparent given name of Lola, one she’d forgotten existed until she reunited with Medeia. This didn’t stop her though from any disbelief, which only fueled those prior feelings. ”L-Listen, Miranda... I... I hope you don’t feel mad or upset, but... there’s still big gaps in my memory and... like, my entire childhood is one. I... I can’t even remember why I ran off as Mommy Medeia told me... or why she thought or said I did... b-but lets go do something!” An idea popped in her head. While she couldn’t remember the past, she could forge new ones today! ”If I cant remember back then, then let’s go give me something to remember!”

Once the floodgates were open, they weren’t going to close and Miranda let it all out as she hugged her sister. She could still remember the day that her mother had broken the news to her of Lola’s disappearance and it still hurt even now. It had left a hole in the bluenette that she hadn’t been able to fill with anything and had taken her a great deal of time to truly recover from. Her mother had naturally told her to use the pain in an effective manner and to push her onwards but Miranda had always been more open hearted than her mother. It wasn’t as easy for her to just switch off her emotions as Medeia seemed to do. In time, she’d learned to do it but it had never felt right. It was only when she’d started to travel alone that she’d discovered who she was and found her own way of living.

Yet, none of that mattered now and as the embrace continued, she began to feel like she had back then, bright eyed and bushy tailed. It was difficult to hear much of anything other than her own sobs and the loud music but she managed to pick up on what her sister was saying to her. “It’s OK,” she eventually said, her voice almost breaking, “Mother told me all about what’s happened to your memory and I know that there are gaps. I don’t blame you for that, it’s just one of those things. All you need to know right now is that I am who I say I am and that when mother told me you were still alive, I broke into sobs of happiness. You’re my precious twin and our bond is stronger than anything. It’s been tough having to live without you sis but it was all worth it to find you again.”

When her sister suggested the idea of forging some new memories, Miranda would finally pull away, a somewhat watery smile on her face. “Yeah, that sounds like a great idea to me. There are all kinds of activities to try so let’s go have some fun!”

The party atmosphere was just as electric as ever although the boy who replaced her as the drummer didn’t seem to be doing so well. The crowd were booing like crazy and the bunny girl couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for him. Not everyone had the talent, she assumed. Walking side by side with her sister, Miranda would keep her eyes out for something that they could enjoy together or at least, that was the idea at first. A grin would soon form across her face although she tried to keep it a secret from Lola. Her mischievous side was beginning to awaken and as the pair walked past a DJ booth, her grin widened into a smirk.

The DJ was shouting for volunteers and as his eyes scanned around to where the two bunny girls were, Miranda would point towards her sister. “Over here, Mr DJ! My sister here has been dying to have a go at DJing for ages. Please let her try.”

The crowd seemed to be eager about the idea and began cheering while Miranda just grinned at her sister.

“Looks like they want a performance. Better give them one, Sis.”

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 24th July 2020, 1:13 pm

Unprepared for what was going on, she found it hard to understand at first just how Miranda felt. The bunny girl had hugged tighter around the earth elemental, judging by the way she had tightened her shoulders up while wrapped around her. While she had returned the gesture, the only thing that could come to her mind to do to comfort her as she broke through the waterworks was the idea to begin rubbing her hand up and down her back slowly. Something she had seen people do to comfort others whom were in the same situation. It wasn’t something that she had ever done herself, but there’s a first time for everything, perhaps. Then again, today seemed to be filled with a lot of first times for her, and one of them was this tethered feeling towards Miranda. Maybe that familial bond that she’d heard about or perhaps the twins thing was a lot deeper, even in beings at were created. Maybe the next time they saw the twins she could ask them for a better insight.

When she finally stopped the bit of waterworks, Miranda woulda been met with a lightly smiling face. Being someone whom was a point of sympathy or knowing what this type of moment brought aside from joy, she had tried to hide the slowly brewing frustration not being able to recall anything in regards to her sister or even her mother outside of recent interactions. It was a sad case in more ways than plenty to anyone who would hear of it, but her suggestion took great hold to Miranda’s emotions. Seeing her more upbeat and normal as compared to just seconds ago, it made her see a bit of how she saw herself. A bit of a mirrored personality in some ways where not letting emotions cloud you for too long... unless in Gisen’s case it came to being angered. Even then she could only see red and that alone was a tough cookie to swallow. Whatever it was, emotions were definitely something unstable in the twin bunny girls in some way shape or form from the way Miranda’s hair shifted colors as they had hugged. Something maybe to ask later on.

While the two had begun a walk down the street, the water elemental had taken notice of something. Pulling the General along with no resistance was sometimes hard when it came to her weight, but frankly she wasn’t going to argue with her if they went anywhere within the limits of the party. They stopped by a crowd having what seemed to be the time of their lives while someone stood up on a smaller stage playing music. Suddenly, he’d called out for volunteers to take a turn on the turntables, to which her own sister began to yell out to get her up on stage. ”H-Huh!? M-Miranda I can-” She was cut off as the DJ called her out, even to see a number of people turned to the pair. She reluctantly made her way up to the stage where she would look around at the crowd and then down at the table. ”I-I.. don’t even know what this is, let alone how to work it...” She muttered to herself, looking around the table.

She had prior musical prowess. Guitar, violin, even a Bass once in a while, but this was a whole new level for her. Looking down to the turntable still, she smiled a little and reached down to a list of records. Swapping what was on the table with a choice of hers, the Knight quickly flipped a switch or a button and the music began to play. A beat thumping music began to play. At first, she flinched from the sudden noise, but shook it off as the DJ came over to her and started to give her a few tips. With the music playing so loud, he could do so rather easily with no interruption. She would only let her do the motion of the music, but once the gist was done, she went into the stack and placed on a second one. A few more seconds into the song, she would swap the songs suddenly. This one was faster paced, more energizing and as the crowd had begun to cheer and get riled up, she took off the first and replaced it with one she had been a little more familiar with. With lower beats and a slower rhythm, she would wait until a right moment and begin to transition songs into the calmer of the two current songs, letting it play out before getting a shout-out for her performance. Flushed with excitement and embarrassment, she had laughed and waved to the crowd, letting her hand be taken and stamped by the DJ before one last round of applause while she exited stage left to meet up with her sister. ”That was.. insane. Like, I don’t think I could do that again, but I sure hope you had fun.” She commented. If she had a heart it would be racing in her chest from the adrenaline.

”So... how’s about a drink? Maybe eat a couple carrots while we drink just to relax before we jump into more things. I do wanna have SOME chance to really talk.” She asked sincerely, not really planning to mean a drink of an alcoholic variety, but hey, a party is a party and who would even know if an elemental can get drunk!

Miranda had to admit to being a little surprised by how good her twin was in the DJ booth and she was soon clapping her hands and moving her feet in time with her sister's rhythm. The crowd seemed to think the same and were cheering like crazy. Maybe music ran in the family or something? Something to ask their mother about the next time she saw her perhaps. She wasn't sure just how long Gisen was in the booth, as she was swept up in the music but it sure flew by and by the time it ended, the crowd were giving her just as loud a reception as Miranda had when playing the drums. It was amazing to see and she felt a touch of pride in her sister for being such a natural. The bluenette’s little joke at her sister’s expense had backfired on her spectacularly but she didn’t mind at all. It just meant that she’d have to try a little harder the next time. Oh, how much joy she felt at being able to prank her twin again, just like when they were bunnies.

When Gisen had finished her turn and came back to Miranda’s side, the water rabbit would grin, “Oh, I had lots of fun and looking at the faces of all these people, I think they did too. You did a great job up there, sis. I was dancing along with your every beat and so was everyone else. You have a real gift for music and I bet you loved the buzz too. I sure did when I was up there playing.”

At the mention of a drink and some carrots, she’d nod her head eagerly, “Sure, I remember walking past a bar so let’s head there.”

Taking the initiative, she’d once more lead her sister through the busy crowds, wracking her brains to recall exactly where the bar had been. Everywhere looked the same with all the neon lights and it was kind of hard to think with the endless chorus of music that kept beating against her sensitive ears. Sure, the festival was fun but Miranda was pretty sure that she'd be waking up with a thumping headache tomorrow. She always did whenever she spent long periods of time surrounded by heavy music. Festivals weren’t something that she was even too familiar with in truth, as their mother had never been too keen on loud music either.

A few minutes passed but Miranda was soon able to lead her sister towards the bar and gently hopped up onto a bar stool. She wasn’t all that versed in alcoholic drinks and was just about to order some nice cold water but the bartender seemed to have other ideas and placed a drink in front of her. It was incredibly fizzy and nice looking, while smelling of apple and the bluenette didn’t want to be rude by ignoring it and so brought it to her lips.

At that moment, the drink exploded, drenching the rabbit and catching her straight in the face. It stung horribly and Miranda started to cough and wheeze, her eyes starting to stream as well. Shocked by it all, the bunny girl shook with surprise as she desperately tried to see and think straight, roughly rubbing her eyes and sneezing too. It felt absolutely horrible on her clothes too, covering her in a green gooey like substance. Angry and frightened, Miranda would suddenly turn to water in order to get rid of it all and once she returned to her normal form, the expression on her face was thunderous.

    “Do you think that’s funny?!”
She barked at the bartender, who seemed to balk at her sudden aggression, “You could have blinded me or worse! Filthy hu…” She paused at that point, cutting herself off before going any further, not wanting to express her own dislikes in front of her sister. The most vibrant warning of her distress would be her hair again, starting to brighten in its intensity. She was furious with the idiot and huffed on her stool.

Gisen was surely flushed with the compliments that she had gotten over her ability on the turntable. Frankly, she would have blown it if she didn’t get the help and tips that she did. To take all the thanks would have been not only undeserved but also disrespectful to the DJ who let her try. ”If it wasn’t for the DJ, I wouldn’t have been any good at all. But thanks, Miranda. It means a lot either way.” She replied with a smile, still happy to hear the joy that her sister had. It was nice to feel honestly, more than anything in her opinion as such. ”I’m much more used to guitars and violins. Despite how uh.. gosh how did Silvia put this... ‘heavy handed’ I can be, I’m really lumber with them.” Without realizing the slip up in her mixing up nimble with lumber, she hadn’t even blinked twice towards it while she now remained quiet after the idea of going for drinks came from her mouth.

But with that, it didn’t really last all that much longer as Miranda took to taking them towards a bar. ”Wa-Wait. A bar? Is it like a bar of chocolate or something? I’m not sure what a bar is.” In complete sincerity, she had no idea what in the world that she talking about until they arrived at the building. ”Oh! It’s a pub! I didn’t know they were the same thing...” She had been taught some things when it came to buildings, but knowing what a bar was had been something unnecessary. Once inside, the bartender handed Miranda a drink. He took a look at Gisen and he seemed to gain an idea before scooting off to the bar to begin fixing a drink. Watching her sister start to drink, the drink suddenly exploded into her face. Instantly, Gisen began to laugh loudly. The blue haired bunny girls reaction had been more than humorous to the other of the pair of twins. However, when the water elemental didn’t seem to take to the effects very well, she had calmed down severely in her laughter. She had no idea what it did to her, so she couldn’t blame her for hearing how much it had stung and burned doing so to her.

Next, he placed a drink in front of Gisen. With a small smile, he handed a glass of water in front of Mira and apologized, then turned to Gisen. ”I thought of this drink when I saw you enter, ma’am. Please do try it. If it does work, you should only feel the effects until you use magic or a couple of hours pass.” He would return to the bar and leave Gisen to contemplate the drink choice. With a shrug, she took the glass and chugged the entire thing, placing the glass down and then raising her hand part way. “Oh! Before I forget!” She held out both hands and two carrots would appear from thin air, handing one over to her sister and beginning to munch on her own. At first, nothing seemed to happen, but then she began to get a giggle fit. Slumping over in her chair onto the table, she continued her fit while her face discolored more and more until most of her cheeks were flushed pink. ”Hehehe... everything’s soooo loopy~ Loo loo loopy~” She snickered and giggled, only to break into a sudden burst of outright laughter and falling onto the ground, causing a slight indent into the ground, ”Oh... it really only does work on earth elementals then... I guess I have a name now. That right there is called the Gastric Gaiarrhea. Sounds nasty, but nobody but a few would ever order such a concoction. Like I said, when she used magic, she’ll snap right out of it. Consider it all on the house to make up for it, Miss.” He directed it all toward Miranda, now the only sober bunny that he could be speaking to.

All of a sudden, Gisen would pop up from the floor, her upper body leaning on the bar stool while her head swayed lightly back and forth. ”Mira, you’re so freakin pretty! All three of your heads! They’re like.. like hicc triplets!” Then, SNAP! The stool would shatter and she would fall on top of the crumbled stool, giggling and laughing the entire time. ”Weeee! Bunny went boom!” Laughing loudly again, she would roll onto her back and lay there, staring into the ceiling. Her head looked around until she saw Miranda, sitting up and blinking several times in rapid succession. ”Oh hey, Miranda! When hicc did you get hicc here!? Dude you like, gotta hicc try totally try.. some uh.... where the heck are we?” The earth bunny asked, jumping up onto her feet, stumbling and her body swaying back and forth. ”I am.. plastic! Wait no! I’m a rock! Wait! No no, I got it! I’m uh.. What was I talking about?”

Apparently the drink worked a little too well... hopefully it could wear off like he said as arguments began to arise outside of the bar.

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

The bluenette was well and truly miffed and might have spoken more had it not been for the bartender apologising for what had happened and placing a glass of water down for her. Quietly, she drank from the glass, giving him the evil eye for a few moments,. before all of a sudden Gisen would capture her attention and summon a pair of carrots for them to snack on. Her eyes widened with pleasure and she eagerly took the one offered to her, happily munching away at it, her bad mood quickly bubbling away. Nothing made her happier than a nice carrot and it was even enough to wash away the anger that she’d felt only moments before.

That being said, she was a little concerned as Gisen drank the concoction that the bartender had made for her and watched with caution to see what would happen. At first there was nothing but soon enough, her sister began to clearly show the signs that she was completely plastered and the bluenette couldn’t help but smile at this silliness of it. Either her twin had zero tolerance or the drink must have been overwhelmingly powerful. It didn’t seem to be unpleasant at any rate and so Miranda didn’t get annoyed or anything.

When the bartender spoke to her, Miranda raised an eyebrow at his choice of name, “I doubt anyone would want to order it with a name like that. They’d have to be well and truly mad.” Smirking a little, she’d nod as he attempted to make amends for her own drink and replied, “Alright, consider us even. Just be careful next time, yeah? That stuff really does sting if it gets in your eyes.”

As they talked, a loud snap could be heard as the earth bunny ended up breaking a stool, much to the bartenders surprise. Miranda simply chuckled and added to him, “All on the house. That includes any mess that myself or my sister make.” Her chuckles turned to a laugh at her sister’s daft behaviour, knowing that she wouldn’t have much chance in being to help her up given her rock like anatomy. All she could do was what for Gisen to get up, which she eventually did. She was completely gone, drunk out of her mind.

“Alright, Sis,” the bluenette said with a laugh to her drunk sister, approaching and placing a hand on her shoulder, “How about we sit down and rest  for a minute and you can sleep off the drink? I think you’re a walking health hazard as you are right now and I’m sure the bartender would hate to see any more broken stools. So…”

She was rather unexpectedly cut off as an incredibly loud voice from outside the bar reached her ears, followed by the sound of broken glass as a rock came hurtling through one of the windows. The bartender would curse and take cover while the bluenette would head towards the door and open it, revealing an unpleasant sight indeed. Standing there would be a group of punks, all wearing the same gear and screaming at what appeared to be the creators of the event. Party poopers, she assumed.

Quickly, she’d run back towards her sister and roughly shake her by the shoulder, “Come on, Sis. There’s trouble brewing and it looks like we’re gonna have to sort it out. We’ve got thugs out there and they don't look too happy about what’s going on. Use one of your spells in order to recover and we can deal with them, before they cause too much trouble. They don’t look as if they're just going to walk away peacefully.”

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 24th July 2020, 5:18 pm

The bartender laughed and waved off the idea of her proposal. ”I had no intention of ever doing that. Trial and error is a costly business, Miss. Besides, I wouldn’t make someone in her position pay pay, nor put it on her family to do so. Just be safe now, both of you.” He had smiled at Miranda, turning back to his bar to return and keep the patrons still inside under control despite the growing antics outside the building. Though most were locked onto the elemental making a fool of herself in her condition, they all seemed to be sure to keep quiet and away should they be a target of drunken actions. It couldn’t be blamed to do so. He made sure however to make a note and place it by the bar counter, possibly noting the effects of the bluenette’s drink so others wouldn’t have to worry so much when they would drink it, but who could tell for sure what was written from where they were.

As the water elemental placed a hand on her shoulder, Gisen took no notice. Her back turned at the present moment, it wasn’t until she had seen the hand there that she realized that Miranda wanted her attention. And doing so, the sweeter tone of voice trying to get her to do what she wanted came with a small fit of giggles. Sitting down gently with the guidance of her twin, Gisen continued to feel absolutely no sense of control over herself at this point. Above that, she kept quiet albeit a few hiccups while some knights gathered to join the growing arguments outside the building. It wasn’t until one of them had noticed her sitting there did they begin to have two branch off. Coming towards the bar, they entered at went straight up to Gisen, looking both worried and surprised. “A-Are you ok?” One asked, leaning down some to look at her eye-to-eye. “She’s completely drunk... Think we should try to call for the Major General to come down?” The second one asked, looking to his fellow Knight. ”Hey boys! What’s up!?” She asked in a loud, but excited tone.

Miranda’s suggestion of using magic to sober up got both knights to look at her in a very confused manner, but it was met with a black rock beginning to protrude from her arm, molding into a shield. Her entire demeanor began to change. Normalizing, if you will. Returning back to a normal state of mind, she popped up from her chair and then grabbed a light hold of her head with one hand. ”Hoo boy... Never... again... U-Uh... Is everything ok?” A puzzled look washed over her face seeing the knights and they began to fill the two bunny girls in on what was going on. Her eyes narrowed a little and she turned her eyes to the neon looking group not far from the group. ”Take the men, move all people away and secure the street from any casualties. I’ll deal with this.” The tone was orderly, direct, and not at all like her prior self. “Yes, General!” They stood in arms and then left, leaving the twins be now. ”If you wanna help, you’re more than welcome, but I won’t tolerate anyone of them dying if it can be helped.” She shot a look of seriousness towards Miranda, entirely devoid of any care for rebuttals.

As the two would exit the bar, Knights stationer around would be doing just as told. With a few continuing the stalling of the group, others shifted around, moving people from the street ends and leaving stations and booths completely empty. ”We’ll take it from here, men. Go help the others please.” Opening one hand, a sword would appear in her hand. A katana with a hilt with a pure white wrapping and small black points up the center. With a lotus designed metal base, a small branch like design trailed up the very base of a semi-translucent blade. ”Disperse now or you’ll I’ll be detained.” She demanded, only getting the few aggressors turning to the group and pointing all around, claiming everything a fraud on their designs. ”You have one last chance.” The group laughed at her, breaking into two groups. Beasts and a sole samurai on one side, and the other having cyberarmored people along with neon covered girls. ”I’ll get the samurai. Are you ok with them?” She asked, looking to Miranda in hopes she could defend herself.

Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event) Empty Re: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves! (Gisen/Event)

Post by Guest 25th July 2020, 7:56 am

“Whatever you say, Sis,” Miranda replied in answer to Gisen’s order about using non fatal means. In truth, she was at a bit of a loss after hearing the conversation that her sister had with the knights. A General? That was a big problem for the water elemental and something else that their mother hadn’t told her about. Miranda’s jobs hadn’t exactly been clean and the bluenette had caused her fair share of mayhem and deaths. Thankfully, she’d kept it mostly under wraps but the danger was still there. She’d have to play things carefully from this moment onwards and would have to try to keep her innocent visage going for as long as possible. She didn’t think it would be too hard, as she’d had loads of practice by now but this would be a tough test regardless.

Taking a breath and nodding her head as Gisen asked if she could take out a few enemies, she’d answer simply, “No problem. I can take care of these.” Tapping into her magic she’d then cast her first spells, “Vladimir! Kennen! Come to my aid!”

A burst of magic would surround her as a pair of figures appeared by her side. One was a small cloaked figure, barely up to the bunny girl’s knee, wielding a shuriken and hopping from one foot to the other. Kennen was always overloaded with energy and her eyes widened as she saw the enemies in front of them. “Hi Mistress! We're going to fight these guys, huh? Let’s get going! Quick! Quick! I can't keep it in any longer! ZOOOOOOOOM!” Before Miranda could even answer, the little monster leapt into the sky and flew towards a teenage girl, who seemed to be more interested in her iLac than what was going on. Hurling her shuriken which crackled with lightning, it would knock the iLac out of the girl’s hand, causing her to shriek. Angry, she’d then dart forward, starting to scrap with the bunny girl’s eager and fast moving spirit.

The other spirit was a little slower to get involved and instead appeared behind Miranda, her arms wrapping around the bluenette’s shoulders. “Hello, Miranda. Is it fun time again already?” she said, her eyes brimming with lust. This was Vladimir, one of the bunny girl’s newest spirits and one that Miranda had become rather fond of. Dressed in an exotic red gown, the blonde haired spirit was nothing if not forward. Miranda’s ears shot straight up and a slight blush appeared on her cheeks, “Not in public! I’ve told you that before! I’ll take care of you later. Please just help Kennen out with these goons please.”

The spirit chuckled and did as was asked, wandering into the fray where a group of unusual looking men were waiting. They were all dressed in a weird sort of armour, coloured from head to toe in neon colours. Vladimir wasn’t frightened though and fired a burst of blood from her right hand, catching one in the face and laughing as the effect took hold. The man yelled and screeched, before becoming silent, hid head nodding for a few moments. “You are mine now,” Vladimir smirked, “Under my control. Defend my summoner, fool.”

With a forced nod, the armoured clad warrior would turn towards his allies and fire waves of sound towards his own allies, forcing them to reel in pain as the attack struck. Vladimir would take advantage by sprinting into range and unleashing a powerful torrent of blood that would eat through their armour and infect them with unpleasant disease. Immobile and in severe pain, they’d struggle to fight off the combination but had little chance, causing a brief smile to cross Miranda’s face too as she watched.

Her ears would suddenly twitch though as another of the armoured guards appeared behind her, about to unleash a powerful strike against her. Yet, at the moment he was about to make contact, he would suddenly stop, the edge of a jet black scythe inches from his neck. “Heh, close one there. Wouldn’t you say, Mistress?” From behind the armoured male would stand yet another spirit, summoning herself at that precise moment, knowing her summoner was in danger. Her name was Kayn and the look on her face was filled with menace. With a brutal slash, she’d strike the man hard, causing him to collapse to the ground in pain.

Turning swiftly, Miranda would smile at her spirit, “You always did have good timing, Kayn. Want to help the others with this?”

    “It would be my pleasure,”
the spirit replied, gripping her scythe and joining her fellow spirits, lashing out at the already paralysed fools with vigour.
