It'd only been a few days since she’d joined Silver Wolf but already Jaesa had decided that spending too much time on the snowy mountain would be the death of her. Oh, she loved the guild itself and had very quickly felt at home but the cold was absolutely mind numbing and she’d just had to take a short break from it. Yet. she had no desire to travel alone and so had left an open invitation on the guild boards for anyone who might have wanted to meet up with her. She had no idea if anyone would accept it or not but had tried anyway. What better way to get to know a new guildmate or two by having some fun in one of the towns? That was her opinion anyway. A day of drinks, fun and forgetting all about her troubles. That was her plan, one that would hopefully be fulfilled.
She’d decided on travelling to Magnolia and boy had she picked the right place. It was absolutely heaving and covered in an amazing display of neon coloured lights. The festival was in full swing and even as she waited by the entrance, she was already dancing along with the wicked music that was blasting from the various booths inside. She couldn’t help but feel that this event was made just for her and Jaesa had already met a few rowdy folks who she’d had a brief flirty exchange with. She’d always thought that Magnolia was supposed to be such a homely place but judging from the comments she’d heard so far, perhaps that wasn’t quite the case.
She was slightly worried that Tuco and his merry band might take the opportunity to cause some trouble for her but it didn’t seem like it judging from the atmosphere of the place. He always seemed to bring an aura of fear wherever he went and that certainly wasn’t anyone at the festival appeared to be feeling. They were dancing with reckless abandon and there wasn’t a frown to be seen. Good thing too as she didn’t want there to be any sadness today. It was all about letting her hair down and meeting someone new.
Perched just outside the festival gates, the blonde bounty hunter fit in just fine with the neon vibe, dressed for a day of fun and easily fitting in with everyone else. It would be fairly easy to see her guild mark though, clearly visible on the woman’s right shoulder and there for the world to see. She’d quickly become proud of being a member of the guild and having met the Guild Mistress already, she was comfortable with her place within Silver Wolf. Leona had accepted her, even with her problems with Tuco’s gang and had promised to aid her with the fight that would no doubt soon take place. It was going to be a bloody and violent affair and Jaesa knew that it was going to be rough but that was a matter for another day. As it was, today was a chance for her to push that aside.
