Suggestion Idea Name: Mission Limiter
Suggestion Details:
This suggestion is meant to make it easier to rank up around the mid ranks, by making missions a little more difficult. A Limiter is an item you'd have to purchase which IC is a means for your character to train. Imagine yourself wearing ankle and wrist weights all week. The extra strain on your body would force you to grow stronger. A Mission Limiter would be similar, in the sense that it would restrict your magic to some degree or perhaps even your physical capability. For example, a B-Rank mage would wear a limiter, and be unable to cast C-Rank spells. Another method of using a limiter would be to limit the total magic capacity to 50% or 75%. All of these changes would make combat more difficult in a mission, but in turn it would force the mage to think more strategically and put a lot more strain on their bodies, giving them a boost in the experience that they earn.
If the mage thinks that he or she cannot complete the mission while wearing the limiter, then he has every right to take the limiter off and get a boost in power, but sacrificing the experience boost. If say the mage takes the limiter off half way through the mission it'd be up to the staff to determine whether or not they deserve the exp boost or a penalty to the boost.
For fun, limiters can also be offered as regular items to wear in social threads so that mages don't overwhelm those of a lesser rank and could be fun to take them off in the middle of a thread and completely surprise other characters.
