And every time we kiss I swear I could fly, can't you feel my
heart beat fast, I want this to last, need you by my side
Artemis Dagger
It was a warm night tonight, and Artemis was very much in need of a release. He was wound tight, tensions at work had only seemed to have grown more strenuous, after the 'incident' during the Hidden Blades Casino night well, there had been a lot of paperwork to sort through and the repercussive talk he had endured with his father. Well, to say the least, it hadn't been easy. But he held his ground, he knew that his father would likely make a move soon, something to establish his power over Artemis. At this point, even Lucarius Dagger could see that his son was not only rising to the task but challenging the status. Whether the Dagger's were okay with this or not Artemis couldn't exactly tell, no one talked openly about Hidden Blades, so there wasn't anything to pick up on.
So for now, it was a waiting game.
The Dagger lad had been strolling home when his gaze caught the sight of neon lights, the luminous pink and cyan hues drawing his attention. Curiosity peaked, he had turned on his heel, moving toward the light. The booming music humming distantly in his ears, it was loud, really loud. He should have noticed it's intensity earlier but he had been lost in his thoughts. He had just assumed some concert was going on nearby, but it would seem he was wrong. This was more than just some concert. He found an event poster, listing the purpose of the festivities, a devilish smirk rising to his lips. This. He needed this.
The first thing he did was pull out his iLac, opening the contact list, he found her name. A short conversation later, the date of the evening was confirmed. If date was an appropriate term for whatever the hell they were. 'Hang out' just seemed too... relaxed of a name for it. But they were friends so, maybe it was just that. After this he called an 'ubar' for the rest of the journey home, forgoing the nighttime walk. He would rush back into his condo, jumping in the shower, he would freshen himself up for the evening. Changing into dark denim jeans, maroon trainers and putting on a shirt from one of his preferred designers. It was nice to wear stuff like this, it was so much more... him. Not the sharp suits he had to wear at work every day, he hated those but he suffered them for professionality.
Once he was ready, he moved over to his mini-bar. She shouldn't take too long to get to his, he'd called for his personal driver to come and get them so it didn't matter how much time it took for her to arrive. In the meantime, he made himself a rum and coke with ice. A small starter to take the edge off, he wanted to be relaxed when Sivvy arrived. Not carrying the weight of his work on during their night out, he wanted to let loose and have fun.
Oh, how he wanted to have some fun.
